great point riz.
they're actually giving away 1 million, not 1 thousand. i cant wait for mine to come.
great. i couldn't find it. this was like, 1990 we're taking here.
they weren't pills, they were little cylinders just smaller than a shotgun shell.
when i told my mom about this shot in the gas thing, she said "oh god your dad tried to make some money with something like that before, it didn't work." and i told her that its been 20 years, and that they've prooooobably made it work by now.
yeah, right on to what barry said. that's kinda what i was thinking, and answered my question myself.
and hey! nothing personal to anybody! of course.
heh, only thing i took personal was some dope last week who called me an idiot and a group-think oriented person for being in college.
love you acsell. :) LOLZER.
anyway, i guess my questions all came from my dad warning me that some things that seem too good to be true can very well be. i just felt like probing and asking questions to make myself feel better.
ironically, my dad was involved with a product JUST like shot in the gas. as a matter of fact, we still have a package in the garage. im going to take a friggin picture of it right now and post it on flickr!
good point. i know that SKGO won't succeed or fail based on SITG working or not, but i think negative PR about it will adversely affect the PPS, maybe a TINY bit.
because so far, the only thing SKGO has to offer is SITG. i haven't seen a thing other than that. what else have they got?
and if the product doesn't in fact work, i highly doubt it will only be "a few noobs" running around screaming OMG it doesn't work. no, i think thousands of pissed off consumers may do the screaming for them.
"because the chinese wanted it. they must be convinced it works already. end of story."
so because they "must" be convinced it works means it does? and that's all there is to it?
im sorry man, but that is not a good reason at all to believe in the product.
and what happened to "it doesn't matter if the product works or not" if the chinese believe in it so much and only merged with SKGO BECAUSE of SITG??? your logic here doesn't follow.
how can you not be worried about the gas pill?
think about this here guys:
if they launch a MEDIA BLITZ which they are, and it turns out the product isn't all that hot, what does that do for SKGO? bad reputation maybe? piss off the chinese maybe? bad PR?
didn't SNPG have a series of INFOMERCIALS? didn't they have a product? look what happened there.
every time i bring up *fairly* reasonable QUESTIONS i get shut down and receive no audience.
you call me a basher for asking questions, but the fact that nobody wants to even discuss things critically and openly makes ME wonder about who's a PUMPER.
i can't wait to be told to "read some PR" or "just sell your shares then dude" that won't have answered any of my questions or queries.
i know all about the media blitz.
that doesn't make the product SOLID. just because a media campaign is happening doesn't mean the product works exactly as they claim.
if you guys are going to believe that it's a 100% solid product just because they're launching a media campaign, then that tells me you believe EVERY PRODUCT in every commercial, infomercial, and so on does exactly what THEY claim as well.
because after all, those other products have media campaigns as well.
come on guys. seriously? im not doubting, im not bashing, once again. to me, some TRUE "DD" would be actually trying the product for myself. not thinking "well, there's a media blitz, it MUST be legit"
hahaha, oh my GODDD already.
what is this message board? lets remind ourselves. its so DISCUSS SKGO.
what am i doing? asking questions. how is someone supposed to learn without asking? this is an INTERNET MESSAGE BOARD. shunning me for asking stuff and COMMENTING is downright rude.
how is it bizarre to ask about the very company im invested in? would you not have said what you said if i'd written "OMG shot in the gas is a SURE THING and there's NO REASON to even ASK if its a legitimate product!!" instead?
how is asking about shot in the gas missing the point of merger news?
just because a company makes claims, mergers, and gives out free samples doesn't mean one of their product does EVERYTHING that it sets out to claim.
and don't say "BRO the chinese wouldn't have merged if SITG wasn't legit" oh really? then why have it field tested in bangladesh???
any word yet from the guy who got his SITG package the other day?
ill be hard pressed not to sell half my shares if SITG didn't work out at all for him. im expecting my package tuesday or wednesday.
I SAY $1.75!!
LOL LOL LOL!!
yeah! hey guys, is the merger going to happen with sanhe?????
thanks chris,
you made me breath a little sigh of relief.
great points you made. i didn't personally think it was a scam, i was just entertaining the idea that someone else suggested (though i dont know why i even let myself entertain it).
he kept saying he's seen it before, and kept citing SNPG or whatever as an example. from what i know, i told him that the difference is a merger ACTUALLY OCCURRED, and that there's been consistent filings over many months, as well as consistently rising share prices to coincide with them.
others have been saying that the pps is already adjusted for the merger, based on the hype. i laugh at that idea.
but yeah, great points. to deliberately scam thousands of people through outright FRAUD is such a dumb idea, barely dumber than the idea of suggesting its a possibility with SKGO in the first place.
guess that explains why this guy is always in thehotpennystocks.com chat room instead of anywhere else.
he was laughing at several things along the way. "oh hahah, the price isn't going anywhere because no merger will happen." (then the news of the merger being completed in the coming weeks comes out) "oh hahah, thats just hype, you'll see, the price is gonna drop just as much as it went up" (then the PPS maintains after the spike) "oh hahaha, that doesn't mean anything, its all you idiot SKGO holders who don't know when to quit. there won't be a merger, and if there is, ill be the first one to say you were right" (then the merger news ACTUALLY HITS) "oh that doesn't mean anything, the 8k will be the kicker"
sheesh!

Additional Information
i got high last night i was so happy!
but i see what you're saying. good point.
i decided i wont be selling any time soon at all. with the steel merger news, and possibilities of SITG being huge. i think the smartest thing to do is just to hold on tight and see what happens.
thought about doing some flipping, but the wild fluctuations we'll be seeing will only make for losses and TONS of stress guaranteed.
i only have 203,000 shares. man, i really hate that i have a SAVINGS account that i can't get to. ugh.
regardless, im pumped for this week. i cant friggin' wait for monday.
I CAN SEE AFTERHOURS!!!
i just saw this post, and decided to see if i could on etrade. sure enough i can!! it has an extended hours option, and even puts up two DIFFERENT BUY/SELL BUTTONS.
at 10:00 PM we were at .0065, vol: 268,100
at 11:00 PM we were actually at .0061, vol: 100,000
midnight: .0063, vol: 50,000
1 AM: .0061, vol: 120,000
2 AM: .0060, vol: 10,000
3 AM: .0059, vol: 50,000
4 AM: .0063, vol: 10,000
HOW THE HELL DOES THIS WORK? CAN I LEGITIMATELY TRADE RIGHT NOW AFTER HOURS??????
i feel like this is my little secret!!! and like i can buy a bunch more at cheap!! CRAP!! I JUST REALIZED I HAVE NO FUNDS AVAILABLE AND THAT TAKES A WEEK!!!! NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO
whats the deal???? someone explain this after hours crap to me!!!
whats everyone's gameplan?
ride the ups and downs? buying and selling accordingly?
i WOULD do that, except for the fact that on etrade you have to enter limit prices. and with the wild fluctuations of penny stocks, and how slow orders can take to execute, i almost feel like i should just WAIT until the volume slows down a bit and the stock evens out.
i can just SEE disaster for myself getting greedy, trying to sell high and buy back in low. knowing my luck, ill sell high, but will miss the boat when it shoots back up.
like the other day, when i tried to buy in at .0042. by the time i hit the submit order button, it had already gone to .0045. so i tried at .0047. same thing happened. so i put in .0050 and held my breath. it went through, buying my shares at .0049.
i can imagine that monday will be 5 times worse.
any thoughts?
i keep trying to watch whatever video you're talking about.
this link sucks. there's nothing there. when i click "skgo charts" at the top, it gives me videos from last year.
QUESTION ABOUT THE STEEL COMPANY
whats the deal? no new PR on that...but i remember its supposed to occur after the sanhe merger right?
did they give us a time frame on that?
id really like to know about the steel company. that information will let me know how long to hold my shares.
i have a MAJOR question...
if SKGO was just a shell company before acquiring shot in the gas,
and if SANHE didn't wan't to merge with SKGO until they bought shot in the gas,
then why didn't SANHE just buy shot in the gas directly???
i mean, if SKGO was just a shell company, why wouldn't sanhe just BYPASS SKGO altogether, and just buy out shot in the gas????
i just hope my $1000 investment turns into something gigantic.
and i wish i had more money to throw at this thing.
i just wonder how long i should hold it? thats the question i haven't thought of answering yet. crap. should i wait for it to go into the dollars?
WILL it go into the dollars?
whats the deal? ugh GRR!!!
what to do what to do.
knowing my luck ill sell it at 50 cents, and it'll proceed to go up to a few bucks.
i see what you're saying here, but i think its relative to the NATURE of the news that is released.
most often its news of a new product, or a new product order of millions of items of that particular product.
given the nature of this piece of press we're expecting (namely the fact that the market cap will jump 12 million), i think its safe to be a little more optimistic.
our news is of a major international merger with a *seemingly* legit company. i say "seemingly" because lets be honest, what DO we KNOW about sanhe? it may just be the fact that the site is in chinese, but their website seems really, really unorganized. plus, what can you learn about a company that's got everything in a foreign language?
regardless, this PR we're anticipating is much more lucrative than your average pennystock PR fluff.
because there are literally thousands of penny stocks, all with their own mergers/news/whatever you want. lots of times, it takes the actual PR coming out for the majority of people to hop on. we're fortunate enough to have somewhat of a head's up.
people wait for the train to leave the station, at which point they run and jump on before it speeds up too much.
besides that, the market has had a tough week, as im sure you all know.
there's so much information out there to be consumed, analyzed, and so on. considering all of this, we're lucky that SKGO has maintained the way it has "IMO" IMO IMO IMO
by the way, we need to stop saying IMO. i think its a given by now.
hahahah im so glad you posted this.
the other day when i said that "college made me a critical thinker" some buffoon on here had the gall to give me shit for asking perfectly logical questions. he then said that i was just a group-thinker; that college makes you follow the "mass's".
you make a great point. what an idiot to say IM the one following the masses, when you're not allowed to post any reasonable doubts or questions on here regarding the stock. really guys? half of you can't even spell. "due" some research?
are we only on here to circle jerk about SKGO? or are we here to DISCUSS the stock? and im sorry, i THOUGHT THIS WAS AMURRCA? I THOUGHT IM AMURRCAN?
im spelling it wrong on purpose. i believe in SKGO. its been a friggin' COUPLE OF DAYS we've been on a slight downtrend, thats what i have to keep reminding myself. patience is a virtue.
im not a day trader, im an INVESTOR. and investing implies a considerable amount of TIME before we see any real significant returns.
you're absolutely right.
the guy made a good point to me though. he said "i've seen tons of stocks like SKGO with the promise of mergers, filings, news, everything - - you'd be amazed at the elaborate tricks that are played on people"
well, being relatively new to the pennies, i decided to come on here with what he brought up.
granted, i DID have those doubts before throwing my money down, but i decided to trust MY gut and MY research instead. bear in mind, lots of chat room people said lots of things, and i ignored all of them except this guy who seemed to made a VALID point.
thanks for being kind and fair. darn, im out of posts for however long.
my only agenda is to learn...hopefully not from too many of my own mistakes.
i hope im not being shrugged off on here already as some annoying young douche.
oh no no, i did go on there and see all of that jazz. but still, its not like a company cant go and file stuff that isn't true.
you said it: bashers. its very hard to discern between bashers and non bashers.
i hope you're right!
i'm really really really sorry for annoying everyone. i was that guy and i know it. nobody likes a big mouth, especially one with a ton of questions.
i trust our collective decision to buy into this company. i trust that the merger is complete (i was merely questioning the possibility of it not being so earlier), and i trust that the public will be informed via PR very soon. i also trust that the stock will take off like we saw it do this week.
i just hope we get off the pinksheets asap. or at least get approved or whatever. im tired. surf and more college tomorrow. cal state long beach = girls.
no no no no no.
i dont feel its in danger.
i AM feeling confident.
are you guys just ignoring my posts because they're a little longer or what?
all i'm doing is asking questions.
with every investment, there's always going to be a small sense of worry, or whatever you want to call it. you can't tell me that's not true.
and i did do my own research before i invested. i spent a couple of weeks since HOOKA told me about this company.
im glad you said what you said about kindness. right on man. thanks for that.
good stuff! i saw this AFTER i asked my previous questions. thats all it took. not responding by saying my college education has left me a pessimistic group-thinker with no knowledge of the market.
where's the respect? oh right, its scarce on the internet. sorry for assuming this was a mature-minded board. there doesn't exist such a place.
oh my god. step up my game? how? how can i further step up my game other than refuting what that guy said to me without reading what i wrote? i sound like a 10 year old kid? i feel like im surrounded by a couple of 10 year olds with a cheap group mentality.
does nobody pay attention to other stocks with glorious news of mergers, buyouts, FDA approvals, contracts, and so forth? i seriously respected all previous posts up until this point, because i thought everyone's thinking process was a CAUTIOUS, well-rounded one. the last few people are proving me wrong because im asking QUESTIONS. holy cow.
mannnn would you READ what im SAYING? i invested already! im in it! im just raising reasonable questions in the world of pinksheets! like one guy said, there's inherent risk involved. i GET THAT. hahahaha. sheesh. i forgot how harsh message boards can be.
is it THAT unreasonable to be a TAD bit scared, when ALL YOUR FUNDS are being put on the line? read what i said! :( :(
i thought i was dealing with adults on here. man. calling into question my investment aptitude because im asking things that nobody else seems to ask?
i AGREE SKGO is awesome. im simply reminding everyone of the volatility of the SUB PENNY pink sheets market.
my "college" thinking prevented me from basing my decision to invest on only a small number of factors. instead, by thinking critically and examining the mistakes of others (think SITG), im trying to increase my odds by looking at a WIDER ARRAY of factors, thus helping me in making my decision.
im sorry, i just really was offended by your comment.
if anything, the "college experience" is all about learning who you are as an individual...total opposite of lacking free thought and being "too ignorant to see whats in front of you." my ability to make wise choices keeps me from being FOOLED by what may be in front of me.
you say the chart "says" .01? i dare you to tell me all the times that your chart reading "skills" or predictions left YOU in the dust. everyone thinks they're a pro at reading charts. in my opinion, its ALMOST (im using that word intentionally so i dont get crucified here) like trying to predict where lightning will strike based on where it's struck before. sure, it may lead you in the right direction, but there's more than just a chart. there's asking questions, like i've done.
whoa! first of all, i've just gotten back into the stock market about a month ago. i do heavy research all on my own, and make lists of stocks to follow based on things like charts and news bits. only before, i wasn't dabbling in the penny stocks. i was more aimed at long term investments in companies worth anywhere from 1-10 bucks roughly.
and if you read what i said, the only thing i said i learned in college was to think CRITICALLY, which is a VALUABLE SKILL in life. it hasn't left me in the dust. it didn't stop me from "taking the initiative to find this stock"...i'm here aren't i? i invested all i have to invest! my entire checking account! i see you've got a college education..."mass's" i dont follow the masses, i learn from their MISTAKES.
a pessimistic attitude? its hard to determine someone's tone on the internet, ill give you that. but i thought i was clear when i said i wasn't attacking or being doubtful, i was merely trying to get all the facts that i could.
hey! just because i only have four posts doesn't mean i haven't been doing my own research, or that i haven't been reading up on this board and trying to fact-check everyone's statements. one thing i have noticed is that my four posts have been triple the length of everyone else's! hehehe. just saying, if you're going to make such a non-sequitor, i might as well match it with my own.
and sorry about my newest post; by the time i posted it i saw the other responses. so i guess you can ignore it about SITG. that sufficiently answers my questions about it.
i keep fantasizing about the potential SKGO has. i keep doing the math on my shares...what ill make if it reaches x amount of cents.
what i dont understand, and what i fear is, how some people have said that when they try to sell it doesn't go through? i fear that come sell time for myself, i wont be able to get rid of them all. goes with the whole ask/bid relationship that i still don't quite grasp altogether.
okay, fair enough i suppose! i've seen that press release issued by SKGO. i've seen all of them.
key words "to FINALIZE a merger"
that doesn't necessarily mean it IS going to happen. the fact that its a piece of news issued by SKGO itself tells me they're going to "spice up" certain details.
by that i mean this:
they're not exactly going to say "the merger is possible, we're going to china to work out a possible deal that may happen, we don't know for sure." because they DONT know for sure, that's why they're going to china in the first place; to discuss the terms of a POTENTIAL merger.
you must also bear in mind that they're a TINY, TINY company, desperate to become bigger, and they need investors like us to do so (in part).
so, the critical thinker in me is really analyzing that statement..."to finalize a merger" is a tiny company spicing up the phrasing of how it MIGHT really be.
nobody answered my question yet about the company from last year who was close to a merger with sanhe as well. i wonder if they released similar press releases with similar phrases?
surely THEY took trips to china to discuss potential mergers as well? im sure it ALL didn't take place over the phone and internet alone?
and when they went, i'm sure they made it sound like it was going to happen in the same way..."we're headed to china to finalize a merger" which actually meant "we're finalizing in the sense that we're discussing a very possible merger" that ended up falling through.
im just being the critical thinker that college has taught me to be, haha.
what "reliable media coverage" would you be referring to??? the internet? press releases from the company itself?
im not attacking you or anyone, i've got $1000 invested myself, and im just as excited, but im smart enough to not be 100% blind (not saying you all are, im just saying) to potential risks, etc.
i've learned in a fast amount of time that there's a lot of pr fluff in the sub-penny world that gets tossed around to manipulate prices. as far as i know, or any of us REALLY knows until a merger ACTUALLY goes through, this is all the "reliable media coverage" we've really got.
for all we know, the merger fell through today, but SKGO hasn't updated their information yet. it IS within the realm of POSSIBILITY that they went through the relative "trouble" of updating all of their information to include sanhe as part of their company in preparation and HOPE of a merger going through.
as we learned before, sanhe was close to a merger with a company late last year, and that fell through. i wonder if THAT company had updated their information in a similar way, because they too thought the merger was a sure thing like we do?
these are practical, reasonable questions. i just expect practical reasonable answers!
okay im really scared.
ive been visiting the hotpennystocks.com chat, and lots of people are saying that the SKGO merger DIDNT go through, and that its not going to happen. they've ventured a guess that its all fluff, and that we're all going to be very disappointed when the news doesn't break, and that the stock price will suffer.
part of me gets scared when people say this. while im aware that there's a FINE line between investors and day traders (the latter being the nay-sayers i think), im still afraid. nobody on that chat even wants to continue talking about SKGO; they're all concerned about the next pick for tomorrow and so on.
basically, i hope we're all right on here. someone had mentioned in that chat that they're skeptical because they haven't seen ANY independent research done on this merger, and that it's all been speculation and hype from message boards like our own, and from SKGO themselves.
but then again, when you look at the pinksheets filings, the SKGO site, and so on, it makes one think differently. to one skeptic i said "why would SKGO put themselves in such a vulnerable position? why would they advertise themselves as being a part of a chinese company that they actually aren't a part of? wouldn't that be stupid because of the legal repercussions alone?" to which he replied, "it takes years and years for any sort of legal consequences to be finalized and processed, etc. they don't care. besides, its a company in CHINA, and they may not even know what's going on over here with this relatively small hype from a tiny tiny company like SKGO. who knows for SURE?"
i think he brings up a great point. who knows for sure? in this day and age of jim cramers and penny day traders manipulating stocks and spreading fluff pr, who knows who can be trusted?
im really interested in hearing everyone's thoughts. i've been following this board since HOOKA recommended it to be two weeks ago or so. i trust the knowledge and research ive seen on this board, and i hope everyone's not being fooled, myself especially.
what are you LMAOing at? the fact that fozy said this?
or the fact that his name is fozy and your name is wocka?
hahah...
nowhere does it say how much the steel company is worth! where do you pull 100 MILLION from?? im not pulling a "firelane" here, like that doofus has been posting relentlessly, i actually invested $1000 today, FINALLY. it takes etrade FOREVER To transfer funds! its been torture! then this morning my order wouldn't go through because of the friggin' 15 minute delay, and it was skyrocketing so fast! i put in my order, set the limit, but each time i did that, the stock had already surpassed it!!
anyway, where do you pull 100 million from?
whoa whoa whoa,
i know all about the sanhe tech merger, but where are you getting this 100 million dollar steel company merger information?? whats the name of the company?
