If the marketcap was $40M based on expectations of VODWIZ then there would be much more reason for worry.
Wow ... nice!
Without my knowing much anything about the company, the 5-year chart makes this big gain look like a little blip so it seems there could even be lots more potential.
HHSE -- VODWIZ ... longs afraid of a delay, shorts afraid of no delay.
Nobody knows what to think ... interesting to see what will happen!
I sold XIN after a run and then got back in (just a little bit) a few months ago. Have not followed closely, but -- yes -- still paying the dividend. I recall reading the last Q wasn't great but also something to the extent that sales will be back-year (is that a term?) loaded.
Too funny, just before reading your post I was reading CNYD ... they are still filing 10Qs ... not that it would have made much difference, but I always liked CNYD better than CCME but followed the herd on CCME. I don't hold any CNYD but keep cheering for them ... you don't forget your first (Chinese stock).
Aside from my 'play money' here in stocks, most of my investments have been stock-based 401K mutual funds. Just recently, I moved 20% of my 401K into low-yield/cash. Don't want to be greedy and I can see the stock market being spooked and longer-term bonds could get killed over time ... a tough market.

ADXS up 23% on 3M shares!?
It's good on the job training for these new employees on their first day! (lol!)
I'm confused, is this just your opinion or are you stating this as fact?
I wonder how many folks knew about Youtube before it launched? If, perhaps, 100,000 people knew about Youtube before it launched (which seems unlikely to me) then I guess you could extrapolate VODWIZ will be 1/100 the size of youtube ... that's pretty high expectations! I'm thinking, however, these things are pretty tough to quantify so simplistically.
Interesting idea! Youtube and American Idol (versus Netflix and HBO, for example) are monetized by advertisers ... perhaps it could work (free movies with advertisting) but would it be worth all the additional complexity of trying to line up advertisers?
I would think it better to keep things simple but if you feel that road might be more profitable I'd like to hear more details behind your thinking.
Jugy was referring to the $5 so I was going off that ... Jugy have you done any DD in this regard? I don't actually recall if the VODWIZ pricing strategy has been shared publically but I do recall them considering some sort of tiered pricing so it's possible I guess it migth be $5 for some movies and 99 cents for others ... not sure though.
In Colombia a $5 VODWIZ rental on the credit card (BanColombia, for instance, licenses American Expresses network and brand for its cards) would be about 10,000 pesos ...
Being different currencies, Argentian and Mexican pesos would be different. (American Express issues cards directly in these markets.)
Although cross-boarder shopping is certainly growing, I was thinking the target market for VODWIZ was primarily here in the US?
Why are you referring to Latin American countries? Do you have any friends or collegues from there?
Very insightful thinking! Thanks...
ADXS ... volume continues ... my cynicism says good news is imminent! Let's see...
Hopefully, most consumers won't perceive 5 bucks as being much money, but glad you have saved up!
ADXS ... up on huge volume today but don't see any news ... same thing happened on INO before one of it's first huge runs on good news ... we'll see if I'm right but I'm guessing insider-knowledge trading.
I'm still with you on HHSE Harley ... I'm surprised we STILL don't know the end game (dilution-to-oblivion/insovlency/etc vs audit/VODWIZ/significant theatrical-releases/etc).
But I go back to there being fundamental value (Eric's wife doing all that work for TITA, verified movies released to Walmart, etc) such that, given the potential of a turnaround, at the current share price the risk/reward seems favorable. As long as these things hold, the downside seems protected.
In other words, I'm sticking with HHSE based on statistical reasoning. If they ever do audit/VODWIZ etc we have a potential 20+ bagger so, say, even assuming 80% probability the stock is fundmentally worthless (which does not seem the case) the expected return is 20%*20= 400+%.
I feel a bit isolated as folks don't tend to think (or at least post) this way ... they seemingly have blind trust of the company or conclude it must be a scam but never admit to uncertainty and carefully outline/weigh both the positive and negative possibilities. Too many folks with agendas.
It's a BIG PUSH so no sweat ... lol!
Is Pulse still working on non water-soluable vitamins ... I did not see as part of the heart formulation in the PR today ... did they drop that?
Yes, they certainly seem in the blog to concentrate more on the future (plans and possibilities they are pursuing) than the present or past accomplishments.
What do you think would be a reasonable marketcap?
Thanks!!
EWSI has been dropping very significantly. I've not been following to closely and smell (perhaps?) a contrarian opportunity ... has there been any issues has or does the shareprice movement seem to be short-term exuberance/frustration?
Given your concerns, the verifiable business, and potential business, etc, what do you think is a reasonable valuation?
If you read a little more carefully, that was a question, not a conclusion ... it's an important distinction.
By 'it's all shuck and jive' are you saying there is $0 fundamental value to the company?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallacy_of_quoting_out_of_context
If 'it's all shuck and drive' it would seem you are saying there is $0 value to anything the company has done, is doing, or could be doing?
You are free to take more pessimistic assumptions about the prospects, but that seems a little extreme ...
That'd be cool if other companies posted their receipts!
Or is it just HHSE shareholders that demand to see receipts?
If HH is a bunch of hype with no underlying value to their business, why -- in the first place -- would they be financially involved with a distributing company?
Do you believe the market is perfectly rational?
EXMGF - bought some more on this news.

"PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa., July 23, 2014 — Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE MKT: INO) today announced successful results from its randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase II trial of VGX-3100 in women with biopsy-proven cervical intraepithelial neoplasia 2/3 (CIN2/3) associated with human papillomavirus (HPV) types 16 or 18. Treatment with VGX-3100, Inovio’s HPV16/18-specific immunotherapy, resulted in histopathological regression of CIN2/3 to CIN1 or no disease, meeting the study’s primary endpoint. In addition, the trial demonstrated clearance of HPV in conjunction with regression of cervical lesions. Robust T-cell activity was detected in subjects who received VGX-3100 compared to those who received placebo. "
Wish I was on vacation too ... enjoy!!
"facts do not lie. "
Theoretically speaking, facts can distort one's perception of a phenomena (such as the value of a business) when the facts are 'cherry picked' to show one side of the story.
David Foley ... here is his quote ... if you read the context you'll see NTEK is indeed associated with HHSE (VODWIZ) but he was noting that the launch of Nuvola and VODWIZ are not intertwined ...

Hope that soon means today! ... will be very interesting to see a functioning Nuvola in the hands of a user!
Knowledge of truth, as I understand it, comes from broad and in-depth evaluation and observation ... not cherry picking a handful of details.
4K is supposedly pretty good tech ... I bet Twelve in 4K looks pretty good!
Shareholders of any movie production company better sell their shares ... get the word out that their upcoming movies are not even made yet!
"People are excited about a box that they haven't tried or seen ?"
Yes, this happens quite a bit actually ... I remember being excited about the XBOX360 launch ... and believe it or not I had never actually tried or seen it.
Lol ... who cares about that!
