http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=49850181&symbol=BLTI
Federico Pignatelli, Chairman and CEO, said, "We continued to execute as per internal plans in the third quarter and I am pleased with our operating results, particularly with our international expansion and consequent equipment sales. Our revenue growth for both the quarter and year to date exceeded 110 percent, while margins expanded and our loss narrowed drastically year over year. Also in the period, we continued to strengthen our executive team with key hires and promotions, gained new regulatory approvals, expanded our international commercial channels, and shipped the first of our BIOLASE DaVinci Imaging orders. We are poised to finish the year strong and build sustained momentum into 2012."
A series of recent actions, developments and key accomplishments include the following:
•Key management changes: Chief Financial Officer Fred Furry was promoted with the additional role of Chief Operating Officer; Richard Whipp was promoted to Vice President of Operations from Director of Operations; Ehab Esmail was named Vice President of Global Regulatory, Quality and Clinical Affairs; and Sean Sykes was promoted to Vice President of Information Technology.
•Received regulatory approvals to sell the Waterlase iPlus throughout Canada and the Waterlase iPlus and iLase™ portable dental laser systems throughout the Russian Federation, Taiwan, and other countries.
•The increase of BIOLASE's net equity from a stockholders' deficit of approximately $3.5 million at September 30, 2010, to positive stockholders' net equity of $14.3 million at September 30, 2011, an increase of $17.8 million over the past twelve months.
•The declaration of a one percent stock dividend payable on September 15, 2011 to stockholders of record on August 29, 2011.
•Board approval of a stock repurchase program of up to 2,000,000 of the Company's outstanding common stock.
•The fulfillment of the final portion of two irrevocable purchase orders from Schein during the quarter, which originally totaled $9 million.
•The award of a new patent for the laser-induced cleaning and disinfecting of root canals with an endodontic probe which addresses the known causes of high failure rates with root canal therapy using conventional endodontic files.
•The award of three new patents that significantly strengthened the intellectual property surrounding the Company's core laser technology and extended it well into 2026, while augmenting protection for many newer features and alternatives such as more laser wavelengths.
•The award of three new patents directly related to treating presbyopia, a condition suffered by more than two billion people worldwide, giving BIOLASE one of the widest ranges of applications and coverage in the field. A new business entity, OCCULASE, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of BIOLASE, was formed in Delaware to give the Company flexibility in maximizing the value of its ophthalmology technology products and portfolio. BIOLASE remains focused on obtaining the grant of an Investigational Device Exemption using this technology during 2012.
•The initial shipments of BIOLASE DaVinci Imaging equipment.
Reinvested some profits today. Riding 500 free shares for now.
The spread being so huge had me hesitant to hold this because it does go from 1.50 to .86 in a hearbeat. I think it will give us a chance to get in at some point. With the bad market yesterday people were looking to pour into something. It may run more but I am not chasing it. It already made me 40% overnight, so I wont be greedy and end up giving my profit back. I just found this stock a couple days ago so I am learning on the fly how this one trades. The technology is definitly promising and the scientist are credible. With FDA approval and positive results as a few catalyst in the future, we have solid reasons to invest. Lets hope we get Em Dan O.
I would love somewhere in the .90's or lower, I saw the bid pull back to .86 after it ran up to 1.50 today but the ask never dipped below 1.01 that I saw. There was seriously large bid/ask spreads all day. Getting in at the 200 day moving average is more realistic. I think it was @ 1.01 today. Thats if it doesnt gap up... run... and leave us in the dust. Lets hope it doesnt.
Out today for an overnight 40% profit. I will be looking to get back in, this company seems promising.
Boom! Up 25% overnight... Now its getting real interesting. Anyone else own this one yet?
Had to buy some of this after reading...

DMRJ Amends Implant Sciences' Credit Facility
Implant Sciences Corporation (OTCQB: IMSC) (PINKSHEETS: IMSC), a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security and defense markets, today announced that it has amended its credit agreements with its senior secured investor, DMRJ Group LLC.
On September 30, 2011, the Company announced that DMRJ agreed to extend the maturity of Implant Sciences indebtedness from September 30, 2011 to March 31, 2012 and increase the amount the Company may borrow under the revolving promissory note from $15 million to $23 million. This was subject to the requirement that the Company would repay sufficient amounts of its outstanding indebtedness and other amounts owing to DMRJ such that, as of December 31, 2011, the Company's outstanding obligations owed to DMRJ would not exceed $15 million.
The amendment announced today removes the requirement that the Company reduce its outstanding indebtedness owed to DMRJ to $15 million or less by December 31, 2011.

Thanks for sharing, I forgot about the call. Sounds like things are heading in the right direction.
So far so good!
I agree, lets watch and see if and when it breaks through. If it does, this chart will look like a winner that deserves a good run.

BIOLASE International Laser Sales Exceed United States Laser Sales in the Third Quarter

They are in my Scottrade account, just checked after I read your post about the Scottrade Yahoo users. Thanks for the heads up.
I am in this until they succeed. I am a believer. I will take avantage of buying opportunities and I hope others can too. These times seem bad in the human mind but it is actually like walking into a store with a great sale. I truly feel it will pay to own shares in GERN some day.
This is pretty messed up... investing in stem cells is crippling my portfolio!

BIOLASE Fulfills All Prepaid Purchase Orders Under Henry Schein Agreement
http://pr-usa.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=850529&Itemid=29
Wow, on the 1 year daily chart it is showing a straight up beat down. I am licking my chops but where does this bounce? It fell right through the 50 100 & 200 MA's. I got my eye on it. Any thoughts on possible support levels?
Nice, keep me posted. I am still reading the OCZ board and waiting to get back in so I can make some loot w/ you and adeezi.
Quinnradio,
I can't send private messages w/o a premium membership.
So... I feel the price has been discounted due to this:
The company said that it expects to report net revenue of approximately $12.0 million, up 104% y/y but short of analyst estimates of over $14 million. Approximately $2 million of orders received in the second quarter were unable to be shipped by June 30, primarily due to the timing of a significant change order placed by Henry Schein and the resulting last minute delays of critical components. Biolase originally planned its second quarter production and organized its supply chain accordingly, anticipating that it would continue to produce iLase systems in order to fulfill the final $3 million of the $9 million of purchase orders from Schein with the iLase system. This prepaid purchase order gives Schein certain rights and priority of delivery. Some critical components have long lead times and require orders to be placed months in advance. Schein informed the company that it was changing its order from iLase systems to a combination of the Waterlase iPlus and, to a lesser extent, the ezlase, on April 28, well after the start of the second quarter.
I know BioLases products are best in class and they are being awarded multiple patents into expanding treatment fields:

They are opening offices in India & China
They just announced: BIOLASE Reports First Orders for the BIOLASE DaVinci ImagingTM Systems for Delivery in Q-3
http://pr-usa.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=833087&Itemid=30
All of this (plus plenty of other things I didn't have time to list) points towards a promising future for BioLase.
I am just glad I got the chance to rebuy at this level.
Nailed it on Monday, but I let the gains trickle away. Should've, could've, would've but I did not... Why? because I expect more than a quick spike... I am looking for a sustained uptrend. This is a best in class company with products that are revolutionizing the dental industry. The current market conditions are holding this back from breaking out right now, but patience will pay off.
BIOLASE Technology has been trading lower for the past three months and was (still is) vastly oversold. Given the 28.72% short interest, you can expect this move to see some follow through.
Shares could easily test $4.50 in the next week or so; if they hold the level, $5.45 could be in play as well.

Just felt it was ready to bounce, I have been in and out of this from when it was 9.50 per share all the way to my lowest buy point @ .35
It has treated me well since it bottomed out around late Feb of '09.
Nailed it.... here we go!
I think we will make out ok with BioLase. My sister is a dentist and patients go to her because they love the BioLase products she uses. I feel we are getting a nice discount on the share price because the last minute order change from Henry Schein caused shipments to count on next quaters earnings. With no change in the overall story for BLTI I gladly reinvested my BLTI profits at the 200 day moving average. I will see how it does when the markets move up.
Back in for another flip. I am in @ 3.484 with comissions included. Looking for a bounce off the 200 day ma. All 1000 shares are free due to my previous BLTI profits. Anything medical with DaVinci in the name will be good... Hey, it worked for ISRG! :) Lets make some $$$.
