Agreed. It has been several months since it was stated that KATX was behind in press releases. I'd assume that with the new investment of funds there would be some emphasis on catching up one this essential activity of any company. Not suggesting that the staff are not working because obviously they are, but this aspect of business needs to be done also. Otherwise the pps continues to go down which loses more income than the cost of providing the PR might yield.
Agreed. Without the demo which was promised for February 28th, we continue to lose money. We are two weeks beyond the promised date. Supposedly the script has been developed and the new production company contracted. It should be out soon. This is not a big production video demo and we assume the production company was selected in part because they had the capacity to quickly produce the video demo; as I suggested earlier they should have worked over the weekend. Otherwise we are losing advertising funds and sales. The 30 days free trial is half over and meaningless without the demo.
ATNP requests up 723% as of 12:00 noon EST on BoardCentral.com. < http://www.boardcentral.com >. Everyone is anticipating the demo update. Would hope that work was done over the weekend so this doesn't fall beyond schedule more than a day or two. Missing opportunities to sell the product without a good demo. Wasting the advertisement on TMCnet.com < http://iptv.tmcnet.com >.

Article points to increased interest in broadband services and should be a boost to ATNP: http://iptv.tmcnet.com/topics/iptv/articles/78413-global-broadband-service-revenue-increases-despite-recession.htm
Note GOTV's ad remains prominently displayed.
KATX searches continue to increase along with VALE on < BoardCentral.com >. As of 6:00 PM EST KATX searches up 849% (1491 searches) and VALE has 816 searches.

Thanks,ad1 and wewantutopia. Can't help push up the number because I had already done that. Thought it was something beyond favorites. Looking for good things next week.
Moderator, will you please post how one marks a board? Thank you.
At 4:00 it was NITE bid @ .0051 and NITE ask @ .0056. We got .0051. Oh well, we know what it is worth.
Interesting post. Thank you. It affirms that ATNP is in the right place for action. What interests me is that GOTV goes far beyond this by bringing the whole Internet to the TV screen, including social sites, shared personal media, etc. Add the GO-phone and you really got something.
ATNP's advertising on TMCnet.com must be causing some confusion because it still states "A Full live demonstration video is planned prior to product launch."
http://iptv.tmcnet.com
While we know GOTV has been launched most viewers of the paid advertisement will be confused. Too bad this advertising is being compromised by failure to update.
Given the script had been written and possibly edited and revised, the demo should be completed very rapidly. The termination of the agreement was on only two days before the scheduled release. If a local production company was selected the demo could be delivered very soon. ATNP must have had press releases drafted, etc. Just speculating.
Just as Amino provides a demo for the set top box, there needs to be a demo to let everyone know about the unique content and capacity of this product. That was the purpose of the delay -- to incorporate new content. This is IPTV, but loaded!! When folks see YouTube on their TV, their readily available personal files which have been stored, shows for Europe, Asia, etc. they will want the product. At the point GOTV is in Walmart and other retailers a demo will no longer be needed.
Demo which was to be released on March 12th has been contracted to a new vendor. Would expect the delay to be only a matter of days. Available by early to mid-week next week. Chris and all recognize the importance of a demo for the sales of this innovative product.
Exactly, my sentiments also.
No idea of who is to blame, but find it peculiar. DigiVision Productions seems to be a small company with almost no web presence footprint. Essentially no presence on Alexa and 99.48% of the traffic to its website from a Norwegian Cruise commercial. Google it and find that most listings are associated with ATNP's recent releases. No telephone number on its website. Seems that it was not prepared to deal with telephone inquiries which it should have anticipated. A polite referral of these inquiries (who knows how many?) to ATNP should have sufficed. If true, an E-mail to ATNP terminating the agreement seems suspect.
In any case ATNP has another company working on the demo which will be out soon.
According to their release they already have hired another unnamed firm to do the video.

MIAMI, FL, Mar 10, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --
Atlantis Technology Group (PINKSHEETS: ATNP) subsidiary, Global Online Television Corporation, removes DigiVision Productions from producing a professional video demonstration for the GOTV IPTV service due to allegedly unprofessional actions. Digivision Productions was facilitated with a complete script and had completed a rewrite for the professional demonstration scheduled for March 12th, 2010.

Traffic to GOTVCO.com continues to rise. Up 70% in the last month and 430% in the last three. 92% USA accoding to ALEXA. Interesting that inquiries regarding the hardware and media capabilities drive this traffic. It occurs to me that short of an immediate DEMO it might behoove ATNP to post on the website a layman's introduction to the product. Right now everything is too technical and geared to the geeks as is the advertising on < TCMNET.com >.

Definition from investorwords.com:
Borrowing a security (or commodity futures contract) from a broker and selling it, with the understanding that it must later be bought back (hopefully at a lower price) and returned to the broker. Short selling (or "selling short") is a technique used by investors who try to profit from the falling price of a stock. For example, consider an investor who wants to sell short 100 shares of a company, believing it is overpriced and will fall. The investor's broker will borrow the shares from someone who owns them with the promise that the investor will return them later. The investor immediately sells the borrowed shares at the current market price. If the price of the shares drops, he/she "covers the short position" by buying back the shares, and his/her broker returns them to the lender. The profit is the difference between the price at which the stock was sold and the cost to buy it back, minus commissions and expenses for borrowing the stock. But if the price of the shares increase, the potential losses are unlimited. The company's shares may go up and up, but at some point the investor has to replace the 100 shares he/she sold. In that case, the losses can mount without limit until the short position is covered. For this reason, short selling is a very risky technique. For a while, SEC rules only allowed investors to sell short only on an uptick or a zero-plus tick, to prevent "pool operators" from driving down a stock price through heavy short-selling, then buying the shares for a large profit. This rule was eliminated in July 2007.

Yes, looking very good. News was worth waiting for.
Was updated on the 5th of March together with other updates such as the new address. The updated content looks great and shows the potential of GOTV. Some things are looking very good. However, there needs to be a release of the major decisions made by the directors on March 5th.
ATNP requests on BoardCentral.com are up 143% as of 1:00 PM EST. Folks are anticipating an update.
Agreed. News should come out regarding the important items from the agenda. There has been enough time. Hopefully, they are not delaying for a strategic time relative to stock prices. Get out the news, continue the development of applications, contracts and other important business matters and let the prices take care of themselves.
The demo was not promised at this date --- only updates of content which was completed. See my previous post which quotes what was promised: #15556
Looking for some good news. So many items on the Board meeting agenda. We should get at least a partial report today. I suspect that if all items were reported at once they would get lost among all of the possibilities.
Question was not my knowledge of investing; rather your motives. You explained yourself well. You profited 70%, was disgruntled it was not enough, sold and now are bashing the stock in hopes of driving it down for re-entry. Otherwise you would have previously posted your sage investment thoughts to help the company prosper. Just wanted to clarify this so potential new investors are not put off by your comments.
I guess people have various motives for posting on this board, but I noted this is your first post under an alias received today according to your profile:
"Alias Born On: Sunday, March 07, 2010"
Surprised that as an investor for all this time, you would choose to post only after you no longer had investment in the company which purportedly helped you earn 70% profits. Surprised you would even be visiting the board.
No date was set for the rescheduled demo., but it should be soon. Additional applications are to be completed by today thus allowing a better more up-to-date understanding of the system capability such as the EGNYTE web storage and a home media sharing application which could be a significant feature of the product.
The release is quoted below:

Atlantis Technology Group Subsidiary Global Online Television Corporation's Web Site gotvco.com Is Now Taking Orders for the GOT
MIAMI, FL -- (Marketwire)
02/28/10
Atlantis Technology Group (PINKSHEETS: ATNP) subsidiary Global Online Television Corporation's Web Site gotvco.com is now taking orders for the GOTV IPTV service. All pre orders will receive within 2 days an email with instructions for completing their purchase.
The scheduled demo has been postponed due to additional items being added to the GOTV IPTV service, the EGNYTE customer web storage space application and a home media sharing application. These items will not interfere with the launch of the product as they will be remotely added to the customers set top box. We anticipate completing these applications by March 7th, 2010.
Christopher M Dubeau, CEO, states, "We understand the need for a product demonstration in order for the public to fully understand what the GOTV IPTV service offers and will release a demonstration once we have completed the additional applications."
I find this article a fascinating summation of the recent history of ATNP and a testament to its potential. Read it directly or read my cut and paste.

Well this should have assured what doubters that were left that ATNP.GOTV was going to be a reality. That at some future date IPTV furnished by GOTV would or could be in every home that had Broadband internet. The Cable and Dish Network Monopolies would soon have competition
.Internet Protocol television (IPTV) is a system through which digital television service is delivered using the architecture and networking methods of the Internet Protocol Suite over a packet-switched network infrastructure, e.g., the Internet and broadband Internet access networks, instead of being delivered through traditional radio frequency broadcast, satellite signal, and cable television (CATV) formats. See Internet television.
IPTV services may be classified into three main groups: live television, time-shifted programming, and content (or video) on demand. It is distinguished from general Internet-based or web-based multimedia services by its on-going standardization process (e.g., ETSI) and preferential deployment scenarios in subscriber-based telecommunications networks with high-speed access channels into end-user premises via set-top boxes or other customer-premises equipment. As you can see the application has endless capabilities.
TMC Says The Need for IPTV End to End Solution Integration - Learned the Hard Way
By TMCnet Special Guest
Dori Ben-Moshe & Dirk Verbiest, Multimedia Services Practice, Alcatel-Lucent
End-to-end solution integration is not a luxury. In their eagerness to capture innovators, both the service providers that led the early IPTV (News - Alert) service launches and the early adopters learned this the hard way. Now, more than a decade later, the same types of deployment and operational issues still exist. However, given the renewed industry focus on end user quality of experience that covers not only received video quality, but ease of use and provisioning and support, operators now realize they must build quality end-to-end integration into the deployment business case.
With IPTV, traffic peaks don’t follow traditional seasonal trends (like spikes during end-of-the-year holiday season), but rather appear during specific events like sports championships, season finales or blockbuster concerts. Network planning should thus reflect these realities.
It has been more than a decade since the first major attempts to implement IPTV met with failure. But even today, many IPTV projects run into the same problems that doomed those early efforts. Complexity, lack of coordination and the inability to smoothly integrate processes and procedures keep operators from capitalizing on the opportunities IPTV services present.
End-to-end solution integration (E2E SI), however, can help operators achieve their IPTV goals. A comprehensive, all-encompassing approach to service deployment, E2E SI covers every stage of the IPTV project, from planning and design, through rollout, and beyond. As such it can be seen as a “golden thread” linking all aspects of the IPTV implementation together, so that processes, technology and personnel are in sync with one another, thus ensuring successful deployment.
In short, E2E SI is a necessity. But it’s also a demanding undertaking that many operators cannot accomplish on their own. They need the help of established, third-party solution integrators that — with hard-won experience and extensive expertise—can leverage a proven methodology for applying the lessons they’ve learned to the project at hand. With a trusted partner as their solution integrator, operators can be sure their E2E SI efforts will result in an IPTV service solution that helps them gain new customers, increase revenues and continue to compete in a challenging market.
At this point I hardly think I can describe the Magnitude of a successful IPTV Program launch her in the United States and for that matter Globally

ATNP.PK could very well be the Next Toy for the Tech Generation,
-------------------------------------------------------------
Obviously the E2E SI is where the skills of the CEO who is said to be a genius at such technology comes in to play. That is not my field; however, from my novice perspective it appears to me that the vendors being lined up and the apparent equipment and programming compatibility lend credence to the fact that this has explosive potential. The delayed launch was unfortunate, but the complexity and intricacy of the endeavor make it understandable.
As you noted Amino produces the set top box used by GOTV and many others. They are merely a vendor with an agreement with ATNP. There are many other partners which have been put together to form the GOTV product. See the "About Us" page on the website: http://gotvco.com/AboutUs.aspx The genius of this product is putting together many pieces of existing technology in exciting ways to produce a desirable product. The forthcoming "phone" will build on existing technology but make TV video phoning possible.
Yeah, I had noted it and visited it. Interesting mesh of videos. Hope that GOTV continues developing an interesting group of diverse and maybe edgy options, including foreign materials. It should stake out some territory that distinguishes it from TIVO.
Don't understand your promotion of the other stock in a post about ATNP. It should be deleted -- or is this type of action only moderators are afforded? You play very loose with propriety and decency.
Also they have updated the site to reflect the new address in the fantastic facility.
Great discovery -- they are actively updating the site.
