Sounds like a great thing that the law firm dropped from the case.
That's the law firm that just withdrew from the case?
I have not been trading for all that long and I have found seeking Alpha is not very reliable.
My wife and I were discussing Payless today so I looked them up. It took from 2017, when they filed for Chapter 11, until 2019 to have their liquidation sales and close all their stores. If that is the normal time frame, this is insanely fast.
My L2 doesn’t show buys vs sells. What’s the difference on the day? If all this buying is occurring, why we still hanging out at .33-.34?
What do we know about Harvest Partners?
Why would someone even short a stock worth so little right now? That gamble seems unbelievably high risk and low reward.
Is there any possibility on a buyout that shareholders could be caught with their pants down? I’m considering going 100% in...
Sideways is better than down :)
Is it possible for too many people/shares to be shorting a stock? It seems like so many are shorting here. If it is possible for too many shares to be shorted, what happens then?
Everyone just needs to be ready for a run that could happen at any time. Everyone also needs to be ready for absolutely nothing to happen. I’ve only been following here for a little under 2 weeks, but we have lost a lot of people because they expect a big run the next day, it doesn’t happen so they take their ball and go home. I’m not a great Penny stock trader and try to stay away from them in general. However, I don’t know if I have ever seen one at this price range with so many rumors and possibilities. So, be ready at any moment for something big...and absolutely nothing.
Okay, I stopped paying attention to Hertz after nothing happened Monday. Why are people still buying this and why are you guys expecting a pop?
Oh wow, that's not very much considering the gamble.
I've talked to you a little about shorting and you play stocks both ways, which if I was experienced enough I would do. So had I shorted $20,000 worth at $3.60 how much would I have made if it goes to $0.15?
Once I see the number I can do the math and I'll really understand how it works.
What would happen to people shorting if they never open it back up?
On ihub? Or, you just saying he is in on JCP?
Have to break through 0.43...until then seems like it's just going to keep bouncing around. I don't know why anyone would be selling right now.
For those of you that were in AAMRQ, is this similar?
Also, someone said they may be negotiating. Is it possible that a negotiation could lead common stock holders in a bad place?
Ahhh okay. So if a dismissal happens, a deal is in place? It would now turn to waiting for everything to be finalized?
Ahhh okay. So commons can't get screwed over by some type of buyout?
Give some wisdom here. How does the dismissal become great news for us? I thought we were ultimately wanting a buyout. How does the dismissal lead us more into that direction? Or, does it possibly give the EC more of a leg to stand on?
I guess I should rephrase my question. Is it really possible that buyout news could happen in a 30 minute session?
So, if they bankruptcy case is dismissed...will companies still want to purchase JCP?
The bankruptcy case?
What is this hearing supposed to be about?
Is anyone going to be able to listen to the court hearing today?
Anyone calling in to listen...if it’s allowed?
What time is the hearing tomorrow?
Somebody help me out. When Amazon bought out Whole Foods their stock was at $33. Each share was paid $42. If Amazon actually buys JCP, why would Amazon pay $11 or more per share? Is it because of the 2016 PPS evaluation, or just everyone hoping it will skyrocket?
So is it possible Amazon and Simon, Authentic Brands could do a deal where Amazon gets the 300 retail properties and 11 distribution centers while Simion, Authentic Brands gets all the mall locations?
So with all these names coming out as potentials buyers or in talks, why isn't this sucker going anywhere? Does it take volume to give the MM's no choice but to let it go?
That's a $960,000 buy at 0.4...that doesn't sound like a normal lad like me.
I thought Mr Clean was a long...not a short.
This looks very similar to the sudden move it made last Wednesday. Slowed at .42-.43 and then worked it's way back to .31-.33
Any ideas on why?
Once it breaks the 0.44 range...open waters?
Ahh okay. So they just have that ready on both sides in case the prices get to those ranges? I've never really paid attention to Level 2 before. I don't normally look at penny stocks.
I'm showing COWN has 5,000 shares at 0.1700 on my level 2. Could someone really go buy those at that price?
If a buyout happens, is it a guarantee that shareholders are not left out to dry?
Last Thursday the 50 day moving average line was at about 0.44. Seems like it's tough to break 0.36. Has it moved down to 0.36?
Why? I’m not on twitter and it won’t open.
