An ask of 70 cents I see...
Now that is interesting.
Look at the post closing bid - ask !!!
Bid 5 cents
Ask 7 cents
The ask is 3 cents below the block trade at 10 cents and 5 cents below the closing trade.
Should I worry?
BGMO was trading quietely prior to the expect word from HH on the receipt of cash next week.
Now, with 15 minutes left in the game, 1.6 million shares and 317k shares each cross at 10 cents. This was two cents below the prevailing bid. This discount would be reasonable for the volume.
Now, for the $ 25 million dollar question or is it a $ 100 million dollar question?
What would motivate a person to cross such an amount knowing what could unfold next week?
Any guess who the buyers and sellers were? There are not that many who have that many shares.
Let's see...
The issue of the old collection action was settled.
The web site whihc was down is now back up.
HH is in India collecting the big DOH.
Guess BGMO sees the $ next week maybe???
I wish I bought some more stock.
Yesterday the BGMO website was down first thing in the morning. at noon, it was back up. Now, it is back down. What gives?
Was Mr. Herzog a defendant in the Vertoro litigation?
If not, then, how can a creditor garnishee the bank account for a director or officer of a public company?
If yes, then, of course they could.
Can some one show me where Mr. Herzog was defendant?
I also read in these notes that he was getting some money for the banking fees. So, if he raised the funds himself, wouldn't that explain the money in his own acocunt?
Try refreshing.
The site works fine.
Check out Google Finance blog for BGMO.
What happened?
I see the BGMO web site is down.
Anyone know anything?
I had a call from an Ontario friend of mine over half an hour ago.
He said the Bergamo website was down.
Just checked the site nad it is down.
What does this mean?
I don't know about you but this new Esoft switch is a new one on me. Going from the security of income and principal of a loan to equity seems to be risky to me unless they see that the return would be greater. I don't know much on coal even though we mined a lot of it here. I think the real play is GS. The laws around here are forcing us to recycle which is not a bad thing I guess.
Does anyone know if it is preferred stock or common that was issued? How many shares are now out there?
I reading some old material, didn't Bergamo sell off their Pakistani projects to AES or something like that. They did the deal, sold it off and kept 30% for "arranging" with no money on the table. I wonder if this is the same type of deal?
I followed the story and it seems that Bill Fason is a private for-hire bill collector. A Texas sytyed bounty hunter.
From the blog, I see that a judgement from Vertero was sold to him at a discount. Unfortunately, Mr. Swire's question in the Google posting questioned the timing at Vertero as it went out of business some time ago raising the question if the sale from Vertero to Fason was legal.
I also heard that Fason was given and accepted Bergamo stock to settle the debt! Now that is an interesting little nugget.
It is a little reaching to suggest that Mr. Swire or any other party that Bergamo is buying is party to a conspiracy. When I have looked at the GS website, it seems legit to me. Being an east coaster, we tend to give the person the benefit of the doubt.
I just took a look at the GreenSafe website. They had another business update today. They have an outfit to sell their carbon credits. Could be worth a few bucks.
I read in the local press (Atlantic Canada) about the GreenSafe ground breaking. and after reading their website, they seem to be real to me. This part of Canada is a small knit village. i heard but have not seen it in print that the people at GS have been in the recycling business for fridges before - in Ontario.
Look at the GS website. Looks like 7 to 15 million tons per year. Spltting the two, I get about 11 million tons. Carbon credits are worth about three bucks in Canada so that would be 33 mill. European pricing is about 16 euros or 24 bucks. I wish I had shares in GS directly! LOL
I did some reading up on Wiki about this. yes, you can bank them and sell them in future periods.
I do not know about you but $ 12 million is nothing to sneeze at.
I took a look at the GS web - they updated some of their info.
Okay, they are not in my province but it is good for this part of the country.
Once HH delivers the $$$, this plant will rock!
In looking at the history of the Bregamo releases, HH is more of an early-in-the-week issuer.
Note how we are seeing them on Business Wire 10 minutes before the opening bell!!!
I even note more meat on the bones recently - not perfect, but more!
While the delay may be reasonable, I find it interesting that the Patriot Act only gets mentioned now.
HH should have mentioned this possibility in the earlier press release so as not to get our expectations up.
I see the content of the disclosures is getting better. still holes in some reporting.
News is coming tomorrow - not sure if it is the "other deal" or $$$.
Could even be both???
You bring up something from almost 5 years ago?
If you has a parking ticket from say 3 years ago, does that make you a criminal?
Try to be balanced and objective.
Remember, Bill Gates, Jr started out in his garage.
French French is a little rusty - better in written than the spoken but hey, I am in Halifax.
From what I see, the article in French conveys a slightly different nuance than you suggest.
Besides, wouldn't it be smart for the area's shippers to see the Minister to offer encouragement. The area is big on peat exports to the west and to the US. too bad the fish is way down cuz that would be big too.
Did the GreenSafe people actually say they were going to build the railway? It appears to me that they have had contact with the Rwy Co and are planning to use rail into their building. sounds like a smart plan to me!
Did you think of looking on the French language sites?
In Atlantic Canada, we have parts that are mainly English and others mainly French. And some that are both. Caraquet is in a French part of New Brunswick. Very nice people I am told. Great crab comes from there.
Trying a French paper first - NB is big on papers.
like many things down east, it can take a few days for the news to get out.
My dad worked for the railway in Cape Breton. Yes, you can have a line servicing a single customer such as a mine or military base. So, how does that make things any different with GreenSafe?
Having studied history in Canada, railways are a provincial matter and are virtually all privately owned link CN or CP. Only a few commuter lines are government run.
I looked at the website, they don't mention anything about them building or operating a railway. if so, can you tell me where?
