Yep, But this has been true for tears….
DAY ONE! Putin went after there energy in the Ukrainian country.
PUTIN WILL KILL HIS OWN PEOPLE!! WHAT IN THE BLUE BLAZES ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!! HE DOESN'T CARE TWO CENTS ABOUT HIS PEOPLE.
I think this little move gives him political cover at home and allows him to back out of the rest of it…we will see. Your right hurt Putin all is required is open up energy and bankrupt him. SCREW ALL THE SANCTIONS. THEY WILL BE GONE AROUND ANYWAY.
we'er about to find out……..https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/putin-ukraine-kyiv-russia/2022/02/11/id/1056509/
YES, I have read about this. I hope they can do something to get themselves out of this country. some sort of reverse merger hell anything. AS said, glad I'm out but my wife remains. There are no real good answers to any of this as it is nothing that any one of the longs have signed up for and I'm sure the FALAKS never were seeing any of this when they decided to get into the energy business. Truth is after 11 years the energy world and outlook has changed. This entire conversation can tail off into many directions and much of it all ends up geo global and much too complicated for this old guy. It was fun for awhile looking into the pspw future but I'm afraid for now the SILVER LINING is heavily tarnished.
There always is a huge political fight going on in Albania…..
YEP, I could get out because I bought so low but my wife got caught as she bought to high. So we are waiting for empathy's 50.00 sp to make a fortune!!
NEVER know Falak is into tourism so it might be a match made in heaven
I'm out so really only care from my wife investment in this. It will be fun to hear the spin though...
WELL, that is from the ministry and it sounds like the" fat lady" is singing!! So whats the PSPW going to turn into??
Thats the problem, Taking your Q from "JOURNALIST" rather than Falak or the Albanian Ministry with Recent Reporting its all just a pie in the sky guessing game. The real information NEEDS TO COME FROM THE FALAK HOLDINGS OR THE INFRASTRUCTURE MINISTRY. Or its just a rumor…imo
Then follow what China has done to the countries it has invested in and got the country bent over the barrel. Your right about the Money it RULES!!!
FOR ALL YOU STARY EYED INVESTORS.

AGREE, I laid all this out a long time ago. and now here it is staring them in the face. I would go as far as to say even if Russia does nothing. it still is a bad bet with that cloud always on the horizon.
I guess I would agree.
I think when you start reading ministry releases you then can believe it might happen. So far three journalist articles just putting old news into something that looks relevant…I'm not convinced. We all have been here to long and I'm done biting on chum...

One of the most welcome events of the busy pandemic years we left behind is the cancellation of the construction of hydropower plants on the Vjosa River.
Although not all experts were of the opinion that the construction of some of them would mark an environmental catastrophe and many saw the construction of a hydropower plant not only as an inherent generator of energy and revenue but also as a way to save them from repeated floods. many inhabited areas near the river, the protection of the 'wildness' of the Vjosa can be considered a real achievement.
The efforts of ‘green’ groups and civil society, thanks to the sensitization of internationally engaged factions, ‘saved’ Vjosa and, indirectly, contributed to the promotion of our wonderful nature across borders.
The initiative was also in line with the pro-environmental policies of the country, during the past years, when it was declared on social networks that there would be no HPPs on the Vjosa and a personal example was given by collecting garbage, if necessary even without gloves.
But the calendar has changed and the protection of the Vjosa, unfortunately, may not set a precedent, in the new calendar, for the protection of other equally beautiful and tourist-attracting rivers.
In the first days of January, journalist Alice Taylor brought to attention the construction projects of three HPPs on the Shala River, which springs near Thethi, a natural 'gem' and, at the same time, one of the most popular tourist destinations. in place.
The projects, which should be the legacy of the former government that was ready to grant hydropower concessions on every stream or stream, after sleeping in offices for almost a decade, are surprisingly being revived.
According to data made public, two of the three HPPs on the Shala River are expected to be built within Thethi National Park, which is against the law. Moreover, based on feasibility studies of the first 10 years, the annual output of the three HPPs on Shala taken together is about 321 GWh (giga watts per hour), less than 366 GWh of Kalivaç, the largest among over twenty, which was canceled over the Vjosa.
Beyond the geographical location of the two rivers, HPPs being prepared for implementation on the Shala River can not be the result of segregation policies.
In fact, when you look at the contract beneficiaries that are expected to start work this year, a Chinese company and one from the United Arab Emirates, you realize that it is a handover of the type "good with all, there is for all"; with the logic that we strive to enter the EU but also co-create the Open Balkans; even the USA to build us the long-awaited Skavica and the mini-HPPs on Shala we give to the Chinese and the Arabs, because they are bothering us.
I strongly wish that the groups that stopped the 'madness' on the Vjosa also commit to stopping the hydropower plants on the Shala River.
Otherwise, pray that friends from distant desert areas be generous and unlike their compatriots in Durrës go beyond a fireworks display for the new year. Hopefully, they also open some fabulous ‘Nusr-Et’ with alpine pool.
Transmission System Operators in the ENTSO-E Regional Group for Continental Europe (RGCE) urge KOSTT (Kosovo Transmission System Operator) to keep their national electricity system in balance.
Kosovo and the escalating energy crisis in the country could jeopardize the supply of the whole of Europe, warned the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E).
Most of Kosovo's electricity is generated by two old coal-fired power plants, and the country normally imports 10-15% of its electricity, but this figure has risen to 40% during the current crisis.
"As a result, Kosovo is importing energy that was not planned in the markets," he told Reuters by email to ENTSO-E, the network which represents electricity transmission operators across Europe.
The Kosovo Electricity System, Transmission and Market Operator (KOSTT) has been asked to keep the electricity system balanced.
"Transmission System Operators in the ENTSO-E Regional Group for Continental Europe (RGCE) urge KOSTT (Kosovo Transmission System Operator) to keep their national electricity system in balance, which is a core obligation. contracted to other TSOs in Continental Europe ", said by ENTSO-E.
The crisis, which has swept across Europe, has left countries with rising gas and electricity prices due to rising electricity demand.
In Kosovo, this situation has escalated not only because domestic production is insufficient to respond to the high demand for electricity, but also that block "B2" of the Power Plant "Kosova B" is out of order for several days now, while an expert German is committed to overseeing the repair of the turbines of this power plant.
The situation is forcing Kosovo to import much more energy than normal. In this situation, the Assembly of Kosovo on Wednesday declared a state of energy emergency in the country, approving the decision of the Government on emergency measures to limit energy supply, making the reductions legal.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti said on Monday that there is no good solution to this situation. "Either energy cuts, or energy prices."
The Albanian government will provide Kosovo with 7,680 megawatts of electricity on December 31st and January 1st, in a bid to help with the situation.
"After an agreement we had with the leaders of the Kosovo Energy Corporation, we managed to provide 3,600 megawatts for December 31, and 4,080 megawatt hours for January 1," said the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania, Belinda Balluku.
Prime Minister Kurti said on Wednesday in a press conference after the Government meeting that the request for assistance was made by Kosovo through the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli.
"We thank the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, for his support. Our Minister of Economy, Mrs. Artane Rizvanolli has made such a request to the Republic of Albania, because we are complementary, we have power plants, they have hydropower plants; "We have coal, they have water," he said. Kurti said that Kosovo will be able to return this aid to Albania in the summer.
Due to the increase in the price of electricity in the world and the overload in the country during the winter, in recent days in Kosovo there have been reductions in electricity.
