Selling pressure beginning to fade. Buying starting to dominate.
.27 here we come !!!!
20101019|CBIS|6209045|15625083
The strength of CBIS on Tuesday was the fact that profit taking tremendous, and yet we gained almost 20% in price. More than 6.5 million shares were sold at the bid and yet we came out ahead. This also removed the "overbought" from the RSI indicator.
Amazing!!!
Record $$$$ volume, record trade volume.
Hoping for divvy news soon!!!
I see resistance at .21 and .27 and i think the first one is nearly behind us, especially with the morning buy-in volume. We should not see the morning sell-off like we saw on Tuesday.
Don't get me wrong, not a disagreement, we see the pullback. Just saying the volume is record setting. Profit taking has been happening since the bell rung.
Just that new investors are coming in to buy up the sells. I think they want a divvy.
The whole sector is up by leaps this morning. One stock was up 100% and it wasn't SF** although that is almost up to that amount.
This is a good day for MJ stock.
Don't be sorry....
PPS still positive ... we are getting ready for the next leg up.
The volume today is the prime indicator here today. The RSI is only a supporting indicator. We are looking to test .27 this afternoon after some take their profits. Who can blame them.
gonna be 4 mill ++++ shares in first hour.
massive profit taking and still holding it own and even climbing!!!! VIRAL --- thats what it is.
Another record ... could be 3 mill shares in first hour. Today is going to by HUGE!!!!
(shorts)
20101018|CBIS|2963452|7374770
This stock has gone viral. This has been breaking records almost every day now for a week. About 1.2 mill $$$$$ changed hand on Monday. 1.6+ mill shares in the first hour. Tuesday looks even better than the last couple of record days.
I'm betting that we will break the 2 million shares trading within the first hour, Tuesday.
Resistance level at .27 and it could bust through this with ease. Small gap up possible again at opening bell to .19 --- The stock price could be going viral with huge increase in volume due to new investors, exposure and MOMO.
.27 possible eod. Peeps want the divy !!!!! So do I ;)
Not Likely, either way.
CBIS has to get approval from FINRA, because it is FINRA that sets the dates and the dates will be posted by the company AFTER they get approval.
Not to worry. Should be posted in the next day or two.
Very well stated.
I'd rather see 20 year old smoke some CBIS than become alcoholics.
1.6+ mill traded in first hour ... that's still a record.
14's on tap
We still might hit the 2 million shares traded in the first hour.
That's about 1/4 of a million $$$$$. Good sign!!!!!
Friday's volume was an all time high for CBIS in terms of $$$$$$.
About 1 million bucks was traded that day. When CBIS was up to 1.45 on 4/30/09 only $200,000 trade for the whole week.
Scottrade and E-trade lists NITE at .1538 as the best ask to open ... although there are a few MM that MIGHT open nominally less ... it does look like a gap up to start. I guessing that 2 million shares will trade in the first 1/2 hour, based upon 1.2 million that trade friday on the first 1/2 hour.
Could be that we are met with news about the divvy at open. With the float nearly devoured ... the profit takers will hand their shares over to investors who will see the ride to the moon. With news and profit taking, we could see the 30's by power hour.
I think there is a difference between having the federal government allow research and having access to marijuana. In the past, the only way for a lab to do research was to aquire cannabis from NIDA.
Not having to jump through impossible hoops and roadblocks to gain access to cannabis is the key for CBIS. I mean NIDA would not allow this reseach by blocking access.
Well, CBIS has its own access and by using specific protocols they can establish a scientific processes to standardize their medicine.
If you listened to Donald Abrams, CBIS scientific board member, you might understand he is noted for hisrigorous clinical work.
IMO, CBIS has a dream team and has bypassed the usual roadblocks.
F^^^ Monsanto. They are the worst of the worst of the worst. They could care less about the medical qualities of the strains; they would only care about seedless strains and the like.
Sorry, just had to rant.
I included Pollan's article for viewers to see a short video. Even Pollan got it wrong about increases in resins.
Marijuana genetics is simular to canine genetics. While they are still simular, each has its own charactistics.....its a wide field out there.
Monsanto has been crapping on plant gentics to produce strains that make them rich, and humanity poor. Only wish they had real ethics!!!
Here is something else to ponder about the percentages of resins.
High powered pot is not new .... it has produced pretty much the same percentages of THC and CBC's over history.
Back in the 70's for instance, what passed for smokable marijuana was the males and females mixed together, along with all the leaves. A lot of that came from Mexico and it was easier and certainly more profitable to mix them. Educated smokers knew that the buds was where the resins were and began to seperate them; even George Washington made mention in his diaries that on one season he was unable to seperate the males out before they produced pollan.
It is such propaganda these days to say that "this is not your parents marijuana." Ugh!!!!
In the 60's and 70's, there were powerful strains like Columbian Gold, Thai Stick, Panama Red, creeper weed, etc....
Michael Pollan did a good series on "The Botany of Desire"... Check it out.
I get feeling that price will gap up again on Monday at the bell. After hours friday brought the price back to .139.
Friday's volume was massive in terms of $$$$$$$. Many buyers who set their bids over the weekend and hoping to get in by the bell may end up chasing the bid.
It may be wise for some who want to join now, to gap up their bid as well, and avoid the chase. ... I mean, who knows, Monday could be met with news about the divy. Several months ago I remember some analysts, before the last (small) dilution pegged the value of CBIS at .42.
You must be sitting on a fat account about now ... with who knows what the exponential value will be in the near future.
Man, I'm glad I stayed with CBIS!!!!
I got a little powder to burn Monday .... Yahoo!!!
I hear ya!!! lol
I set mine too low this morning and only got a partial fill at .116 ....but still glad I got it :)
Alright !!!
Slap that ask!!!
Huge volume yesterday. 5.9mm at .10 is the same as 11.8mm at .05
WOW. Friday is going to be a blast !!!!

I've never shorted any shares, but maybe someone can enlighten me on this.
I was under the impression that when a MM shorts a share they have upto 3 days to cover otherwise it would be a FTD. Granted, maybe they can extend the 3 days by shorting more shares to cover their previous short, but that would be an additional transaction.
Any thoughts from those with experience.
Yes, there were a few ignorant statements in that article.
Reminds me when I hear prohibitionist talk of MJ, they really do not know what they are talking about.
Hey, good post newmed.
You may have noticed that there was a good amount of profit taking at the start of Monday ... some of the sharks left the pond. Get ready for the next leg up.
The mission of CBIS is one of the most important aspects of my life. I can testify that mj is one of the best medicines available (or unavailable if you live in state that is woefully uninformed.)
Capturing the right strains is important .... just like dogs ... they are very different.
I do not believe that
True!!!! They are the pseudo-rulers
Starting to see more green on the board, .067 may have been the bottom today. Maybe 3.5mil in first hour.
MM or seller pushing price down during buy pressure. Geesh!
Gap up to .094
20101011|CBIS|2157054|8530224
Are you ever wrong.
First of all, I did not buy today.
Proof of pump and dump. Come on, get real. My DD showed this was a development stage co ... so results take time ... I expect PR's that only talk about direction.
I bought in April at .185, then 17.5, ,16, .102, .07, and .046. I flipped them a few times and averaged about .10 ---- YES, I SAW GREEN TODAY !!!!! Go CBIS!!!
There were no paid promotions in the last week or two.
I AM NOT A SUCKER.... well okay some of my deals went south ... but a good learning experience.
I do feel bad for all who bought in high.
I got lucky a few weeks ago when my Bank of America account was turn over to Merrill Edge ... they told me they do not deal in pennies unless I had 25k with them. So I had to sell them all at .059 and bought them back (and a few extra) from Scottrade at .46.
Unlike you, I trust Dr. Bob and R Cowan. In Oregon, we will likely get dispensaries added on top of an already good MMJ program, come Nov. 2 !!!! Yippie!!!
That's sweet. Huge volume.

The next resistance level seems to be @ .09 with PERT and VFIN.
Then at .15 with BMIC.
No published promotion on Friday's volume, new buyer awareness ... technicals ... anticipation of divy ... selling pressure disapating ... legalization at hand. Volume on Monday may test the .15 mark.
This perfect storm could last for weeks.
Ka-ching !!!!
Looks like lots of shorting going on.
Only one MM left on .05 ---- nite jumped to .06
Go CBIS !!!!
Looks like we will break .05 today....
Buy volume looks good. The lows have been getting higher (no pun intended) this last week, building steadily on an upward trend.
My boats loaded. Wants to sail.
Shorts have been busy lately.

Head fake. Just a game they play!!
You are right ... the sell volume continues, although not as big as in days past. It looks like the seller has gained some patience and is letting buyers advance.
The buy volume was even greater today. I'm looking for a finish of .055 to .06 tomorrow /with increased volume /without the div news.
Hoping for the div news on Friday with a massive run up leading to the weekend.
Dayadoger, good post.
Looks like the same page that I'm reading from.
