So let's assume this:
1. Movie app is off the table until MRNJ has real demand content to publish. Good decision in my book.
2. The new media content deal is fairly insignificant (assume it is a cooking magazine, ha!)
3. The new Oprah client is fairly insignificant (maybe yoga for seniors).
How long can we sustain increased rev growth on the mega apps we currently have?
Interesting resylts in AppAnnie the last few days. Looking at the mega apps from a purely popularity perspective - ETolle has seen a significant uptick over the last 4 days.
Similarly, Harrold Relax Sleep Well (Free version) continues to set new popularity highs...but the paid version has slowed. His Complete Hypnosis app jumped today in popularity as well.
Today (out of nowhere) Bonetti Complete Hypnosis popularity hit the top 500 in three new countries. Something must have happened.
The push notification appears as soon as I turn on my iPad - on the opening screen with the "slide to unlock" switch shown below.
I tried to tap the message, but nothing happens.
When I "slide to unlock" the screen, the push notification disappears.
I finally received the push on my iPads well.
Question: my assumption was that you could tap on the push notification and that it would directly take you to the page on iTunes - but it does not appear to work that way. Was my assumption incorrect?
If I put myself in their shoes.....it is hard to imagine why I would be selling. Everything seems to be going in the right direction. They are developing technology and their apps are gaining momentum. Why don't they wait at least until Tolle starts promoting heavier? The pps was going to move, seems like they could have easily doubled their money by delaying.
IMO - No, you cannot make money trading this stock. Traders require volume. There is no "channel". I do not believe anyone is shorting or manipulating. Some people are just giving up.
I do not want pps momentum from pure speculation. I want month over month of revenue growth from creation selling an ever-increasing quality of product. MRNJ has to build their portfolio of product to attract a higher level of clients.
They need a professional history to present and win new business or be attractive as a purchase.
I think we just did it!! According to AppAnnie, today (15th) was a huge day for many of our mega apps. Hopefully it translated into the $3k day we have been waiting for.
Sorry, yes 5th consecutive month of record revenue.
Good week for Mega App Downloads:
1. With Tolle promotion - their app popularity has surged in several countries.
2. Glenn Harrold's Relax and Sleep Well app (both free and paid) both hit new popularity highs in the last three days.
3. Bonetti 20-Minute app continues on a strong 12 day run. For some reason it had a slight lull in September, but October has been strong.
I suspect we see another announcement of record downloads from MRNJ soon...and bet we have locked up October as the fourth consecutive month of record revenues.

Storm, to me this is a no-brained for current subscribers. As time goes by, they should mostly all adopt the mobile app.

I am not even sure I can conceive what a "nano app" consists of. Furthermore, how much of a demand can there be for such a product?
If it is as technical of a product as it sounds...I bet it is 9-12 months away.
I am a long-term shareholder as well and agree with many of your comments. I would be anxious as well - EXCEPT that things seem to be swinging our way right now. 5 consecutive months of record revenues (and appears to be growing) is hard to dispute.
I do my own DD and follow many of the mega apps on appannie. I want to be in the know if app popularity starts to slip. So far, our racehorses continue to run....and TolleTV is just coming out of the gate.

Great news that Tolle has finally started promotion of the Tolle app. I don't understand the delay - but water under the bridge. From the provided screenshot it looks like this is not a simple text email - they are doing it right with great graphics. Tolle is a top-tier client, so MRNJ has had to be patient thru the marketing process.
On another note, GH Relax and Sleep Well (both free and paid versions) jumped in popularity yesterday according to appannie. Yesterday both apps hit a record high in worldwide download ranks since I have been tracking.
Agreed. This language is pointed out on every one of their quarterly reports (I did it two yrs ago).... It is boilerplate. They are succeeding.
14% over last month...which was an increase from the previous....pretty soon Storm is going to be raising his quarterly estimates again. If Tolle's people would get in gear - he could double them! Ha!
Not sure why anyone would sell here - from a simplistic macro perspective:
1. MRNJ is active in app development and testing of push notifications
2. tolle (their biggest client) has indicated they will start app promotion soon
3. record revenues in August and September (and Oct is trending that way as well)
4. This past quarter will be our biggest ever and will be announcing in 6 weeks.
This is not a time to sell....IMO.

I am missing out on these initial push alerts. I only have an iPad w/ Tolle TV, GH RSW (free), and GH Ultimate Hypnosis... Have I missed something?
I would have to think that those 10 thousand subscribers would immediately adopt the app version rather than the website direct. It is just a no-brainer.
Of course they have to know about it first...
He has a large megaphone at his fingertips. I hope that IR is suggesting key ways that Tolle can drive the most users to the app.

Just think if one of the more recognizable instructors (Hank Haney, Michael Breed, Butch Harmon) would create a golf subscription app in the same exact format as ETolle's - it would take very little effort on their part and probably make more consistant long-term revenue for them than doing a book every 5 years.
Storm - I like this method of judging investor momentum rather than ddmachine.

Against my better judgement I will respond. You can look back at my history of posts and will see there have been few others as critical against Tolle and MRNJ (mostly Tolle) for not actively promoting such a great product....one that was such a huge technology jump for MRNJ.
I wrote MRNJ and Tolle's company numerous times voicing my concern.....ONLY with the sole intent of realizing the long-waited value for shareholders on this board.
I agree with CheChe - this will steepen the revenue curve.

ETV has been languishing since it was released. Now it will start to top the charts. Tolle is really popular with a lot of people. He is the most influential of MRNJ's clients.

Storm does a great job documenting company success and daily reports on any significant up/down trends in app sales. This is going to be a breakout quarter for us financially, but we should not expect consecutive days like the ones we have just had.

I think he means the into page of the discussion board. I agree, it probably needs freshening - but I sure would not know how to do it. With the PPS action over the last two days we will certainly be attracting new investors. they will immediately look at the intro to judge DD levels of the board.

I am ALL-IN a long time ago. Sold a cat, cleaned change out from under the sofa, and gave plasma. MRNJ doesn't need hype - it just needs continued execution and a louder microphone to tell its story.

When a company shows Annual Revenues increasing from $80k to $200k to $278k and now we are predicting a jump to $700k+....people start to take notice.
It certianly depends on how you value the future growth of the company. I like that we are having record revenue days in Sept-Oct!
The more MRNJ can build their portfolio and marketability of product - the more chances that companies like Sony might float a pilot project their way.
According to AppAnnie, there was indeed a significant pop in the popularity of the GH Ultimate Weight Loss yesterday after the push. It nearly doubled the number of countries that it is ranked in the top 500. UWL has been gaining in popularity anyways - but this was definately a surge. Yesterday was the app's most poular day since being released a month ago.
It appears from the board discussion that the push update only went to iphone users - and may have had a couple kinks. So this is pretty significant increase in exposure based on a half-hearted swing.
My comments on blog...
1. Sunday was an all-time record sales day for apps, 4th Sunday in a row of record sales
2. The Weekend was an all-time record for app sales.
Fantastic news! This just further cements my thinking that we are past the phase of being a "seasonal app sales play" around the christmas period. I want to see steady consistent growth with higher and higher app quality.
3. Relax and Sleep Well mega app had an all-time record sales day on Sunday.
Impressive given the length of time the app has been on the market.
4. Eckhart Tolle TV app had a record number of sign-ups on Sunday
Doesn't mean much to me since the app download has been dismal based on comments made before. When Tolle decides next week (hopefully) to really start promoting the product ....we will see a massive spike in downloads.
5. Relax and Sleep Well mega app had an all-time record downloads and updates on Sunday.
Good news - glad to see that the 1M+ customers are still using the product and have not deleted it to make room for others.
6. September 2012 was an all time record sales month for apps.
As should be Oct, Nov, Dec, and Jan. It would be so nice to see month-after-month for record app sales. I think it is highly possible.
