Yes they have, land with very high potential at that but still they have not named a particular project yet or location, such as in Nevada. Actually Montana in the long run will be there favorite having alot of locations and projects once they zero in where they need to be. Then there will be a bunch of favorites.

NEVADA - DELCER BUTTES
Delta signed a land agreement for 31 unpatented hard-rock mining claims totaling 680 acres of land for the Delcer Buttes Property in Elko County, Nevada. The property posses classic gold/copper mineralization and extensive covered areas where other skarn or sediment-hosted mineralization may lie undetected. A full exploration project which includes mapping and sampling, along with a full geophysical survey will be undertaken in early 2010.
Yea i would say it is there favorite at the moment. Montana still looks like it is in more exploratory type stage, not really focused on or naming any particular locations at the moment.

MONTANA - HOMESTEAD
For the past decade, Delta Mining and Exploration has been acquiring property and mineral rights to land in Central Montana that management believes has the potential for some of the most prospective diamond exploration in the United States.

The Property is located in Elko County, Nevada, 60 miles south of Wells.
To the west of the Property is the prolific Carlin Trend, which produces close to 3 million ounces of gold per year. Approximately 10 miles to the southwest is the northern boundary of the Battle Mountain-Eureka Trend, another linear zone of significant gold endowment
The nearest significant gold mining operation is at Bald Mountain (Barrick Gold), 40 miles to the south and which is part of a group of north-south oriented gold mines including the now-exhausted Alligator Ridge gold mine. In 2008, Bald Mountain is reported to have produced 105,000 ounces of gold and proven and probable mineral reserves as of December 31, 2008 are estimated at 2.85 million ounces of gold.
Property owner has proposed a model similar to the Bald Mountain deposit, which is a copper-gold deposit, which, in addition to zones of high-grade skarn ore, also hosts open-pittable, sediment-hosted, lower grade mineralization.
The Property hosts classic copper/gold skarn mineralization and extensive covered areas where other skarn or sediment-hosted mineralization may lie undetected. The skarns appear to be manto-like and the source of heat and fluids could be a large intrusive located to the north of the Property with dike offshoots cutting across the Property.
Typically, delineation of “blind” skarn mineralization by geophysical methods is a common exploration tool.

Delta Mining and Exploration Corporate Update
LEWISBURG, KY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/15/10 -- Even as the seasons change and the weather warms substantially throughout the United States, mother nature has not been as kind to Delta Mining & Exploration (PINKSHEETS: DMXC). The company once again received news this week that snow has fallen on Delcer Buttes, therefore making it impossible for Gradient Geophysics to complete the high resolution magnetometer survey.
This is now the fourth week in a row that weather has hampered company efforts to complete one part of the work program. Another attempt will made be over the weekend as there does seem to finally be a break.
Though it has been frustrating to wait, in no way do these delays hamper the outlook that the company has regarding the Delcer Buttes gold/copper property. The preliminary magnetometer results showed several significant responses which are anomalies due to rocks that contain a high level of magnetite characteristically associated with copper-gold in this geologic setting.
As the weather improves, Delta fully expects a busy spring and summer. Once Gradient is on the ground it would take them a few days to complete this magnetometer survey, and after analyzing the results will produce a full interpretive report. Gradient will then commence with the Induced Polarization (IP) survey and finally, a full Mapping and Sampling program will take place after the IP survey. Once these work programs are complete, Delta will then determine how best to proceed.
In the meantime the company will continue to file its quarterly reports with Pinksheets.com and seek to maintain the highest designation of being fully compliant.
