I believe you are correct! The life expectancy for a liver cancer patient, without transplant, is somewhere around 6 to 9 months, if my memory serves me correctly. The study has taken over 2 years. The 380 "instances" are deaths of patients, where the 380th un-binded the study for data analysis. Obviously the survival time has increased dramatically through both excellent care for the placebo takers, and for the thermodox patients. There are a couple of questions the data should answer positively. First, have there been cases of remission, which is almost unheard of in liver cancer. And, how long has thermodox increased the life expectancy of the patients, thus making it more likely to find a donor for a transplant. Both would be a grand slam. While one would result in a home run at least. We are talking about helping people live and giving them hope! I just love the increase in my worth while having such a gallant investment!
