3-D printing start-up Carbon seeks to be found everywhere
The start-up is taking the technology deeper into manufacturing
by Alexander H. Tullo
JULY 1, 2018 | APPEARED IN VOLUME 96, ISSUE 27
in early 2015, Joseph M. DeSimone, then best known as an influential chemist at the University of North Carolina and North Carolina State University, took to the technology world’s hippest stage and brought the house down.
CARBON AT A GLANCE
? Technology: 3-D printing
? Location: Redwood City, Calif.
? Founders: Joseph DeSimone, Alex Ermoshkin, and Edward Samulski
? Funding: $422 million
? Backers: GV, Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Emerson Collective, GE Ventures, Fidelity, Adidas, JSR, Sequoia Capital, Silver Lake Kraftwerk, and others
It was a TED Talk, and DeSimone was pitching his new three-dimensional printing company Carbon. An overhead projection boasted that Carbon’s process was 25 to 100 times as fast as other 3-D printing technologies. To prove it, one of his machines made a part—a ball consisting of concentric geodesic layers—live on stage.
While it was emerging from a bath of red fluid, DeSimone recalled how he and the technology’s other inventors were inspired by the scene in the movie “Terminator 2” when the robot baddie reassembles itself from a pool of liquid metal. When the ball was completed toward the end of his 10-minute talk, the room erupted in applause.
yes they are "the big lebowski"!
so these are the only tweets so far that "MDIN" has made, IMO, very powerful tweets and communication....

so, now im kinda guessing that there was/is no plan moving forward....
or, that there is a plan, just having issues?
mdin was just taken over and went from"$.00005-$.0012 ;)
#chkitout
i know barton and entire old management is gone! im saying that the filings are missing from 2008-2012! i thought my post was kinda clear.
Im Pretty sure the CE is in place because of missing filings from "2008-2012". Idk how difficult it will be to fix that issue, being that cheico,Barton and others probally destroyed that info. Let's have an epic week here, glta!
as per this tweet, there should be news coming out. im hoping its today! ]MedGen, Inc.

In a harshly lit laboratory in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, there sits a machine that is, in many ways, similar to a standard-issue desktop printer. It has ink reservoirs and nozzles, an internal fan to keep it cool, and a set of input jacks that can be used to connect it to a nearby computer. It is subject to the occasional jam. And yet the 800-pound steel and plastic device is unlike anything you’ve ever encountered, because what it prints is alive—millions and millions of living human cells, contained in a viscous gel and woven through delicate biodegradable supports in a quivering simulacrum of human tissue.

Saving Face: How One Pioneering Surgeon Is Pushing the Limits of Facial Transplants
It took a decade for numerous scientists and engineers to build and refine the Integrated Tissue and Organ Printing System, or ITOP. Ultimately, though, it’s the brainchild of a single man: a tousle-haired 59-year-old doctor named Anthony Atala. Born in Peru, and raised outside of Miami, Atala—today the director of the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine—has spent the past decade attempting to print living organs.
“For me, it all started back in Boston, in the early 1990s,” recalls the urologic surgeon and biotechnologist. “Because that’s when I really came face to face with the transplant organ shortage.” At the time, Atala was working his first post-medical school gig, as a research fellow at Harvard Medical School. Every week, during his rounds at Boston Children’s Hospital, he met another young patient who had spent months or even years waiting for a replacement organ. Some died before a replacement kidney or liver could be found. Others had severe immunological responses to the transplanted organs. Atala believed that the solution was clear, if far-fetched: lab-grown organs cultivated out of a patient’s own cells and surgically implanted into the body.

awesome video there "silver_bars! if you look at "barry burk's" resume' from the intro for "MDIN", you will see a reference to "North Carolina A&T". this is what i found.... also i apologize for not doing my full DD for the "government funding"!
A&T REACHES $62.5 MILLION IN RESEARCH CONTRACTS AND GRANTS
July 24, 2017 NCATResearch Uncategorized Leave a comment
Already the state’s third most productive public research university, N.C. A&T took in a school-record $62.5 million in research contracts and grants in 2016-17.
External research funding at North Carolina A&T now has more than tripled over the past 16 years, growing from $18.4 million in 2001 to $62.5 million in 2017. The growth also comes during a period in which federal spending on research decreased as a percentage of national gross domestic product and during which across-the-board budget cuts caused by sequestration produced significant decreases in available research funding.
Principal investigators received 259 awards across campus from such federal funders as the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, NASA, the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Education. Support from private sources came from Intel, Duke Energy, Honeywell, the Merck Company Foundation, Lockheed Martin, Science Applications International Corp. and a range of other partners.
hey dang. Hope your still locked and loaded!
i agree, im just thinking that a government grant is an absolutely big deal, that's why i did some DD on it. i found that has nothing to do with anything about "MDIN" and i just wanted all to know, no-one listened, lmao. but now its out and no-one can say i did not have any input on this gem, im good, very good with my position here! thanks and lets get this thing we call"MDIN" going big time!!!!
lmfao, musicbynature, i think your the only one here who actually looked and saw that the patent that was given is for "INK"! it seems more and more like a pump here and they will leave and once again there will be bag holders but this time there will be a lot more.... DO YOUR DD!!!!
maybe someone should check others DD, and remove their posts from up-top.... post#116664! its misleading and untrue!
yes it does, and its for a laser printer "ink".
click on the "download pdf" and read it!
i will help you in your search, go to page 16/17 and you will see it there..... ink, lmfao!!!!
please show any evidence to "full government backing" if you can find any!
it seems that anyone can make up anything and nothing is questioned!
IVE-GOT-AN-ACE-2, I have the same feeling after some false info was given and I looked Into it and proved it was false and not one person questioned it. Seeming more and more like a pump and dump, and some are dumping already. I have been here a long time and I'm very weary of all this pumping with no results, yes, it has risen nicely but with all this info that's out there for this Company, it should have been copper on Wednesday! Good luck to all in your trades....
please remove this false post, there is no proven government support for "MDIN". if any DD is found and proven please post. the patent is for a laser jet printer ink! thanks!
#116664 1.000 We have government support! US GRANT US8573757B2 Wishful Thinking 11/22/18 09:44:25 PM
hey DA-BONE-NOSE, im thinking a little more cautious now.
i have done my DD and i have seen others that have done thiers. according to mine and theirs this should have seen copper by now, other companies have moved faster and a lot more solid then "MDIN". then some are posting false DD and not 1 eyebrow is risen, but instead praised for posting it. just seems a little suspicious to me! hmmmm.... there is a bunch of new "MDIN" followers and investors, im just hoping this is not ANOTHER P&D attempt. watching with caution....
sorry wishful thinking but there is NO government funding as far as i can see, but you do have a lot of excellent DD.... this is outstanding news also!!!!
https://backend.otcmarkets.com/otcapi/company/financial-report/207212/content …
wishful thinking, lmao at your DD for this patent, this is pg#16 on the patent, i didn't want to bore all peeps out there reading all of it, but this will sum it up quick for you, keep on wishful thinking.... (its about inkjets)

that doesn't look very convincing "wishful thinking", if there is any other evidence of that the government is supporting "MDIN" in any way please post it, if there is government support then this will go ballistic, just dont post stuff to pump, i dont think thats fair or needed here. thanks!
da-bone-nose, i have been told not to think a lot! that being said, im thinking this is an awesome opportunity for a lot of the longs that played this and got played! this is a completely different company that is legit, seems forth-coming(we shall see), and hopefully a full player in the field of bio-medical production of organs. if they acquire the companies they say they are acquiring then it is a totally new ball game and this "penny stock" will not be remembered as a "penny stock" in the near future. i have a position here that is riding free, i sold a bunch when "mdin" hit $.008 a few years ago and have been stuck ever since 2-1/2 weeks ago! short run im thinking $.008 - $.02, long run $.10 and up from there if all works out. have a great thanksgiving!
this is all just my honest opinion, buy or sell at your own pace.....
