tiger I hope you understand. The direction of the economy has been apparent for some time but I'm glad msft sp has enlightened you to it. Cryoport will sign deals and do business regardless of a recession.
I hate to burst your never in a million years bubble but we did out perform the market today, but Im sure you meant in a longer time horizon, Right?
There is indeed some indirect correlation between the broader market and CYRX and will CYRX's ability to grow but it's not quite the same as GE, MSFT and Big banks. Today is a good example of that.
Luckily for us we are too small for anyone to even see us because we are at the bottom or not in anyone's portfolio. We could easily hit .20 but it looks like there are still some buyers out there.
BTW, WFWL is a great quality company and thrive through there 50, 100, 200 day moving averages and MACD lines tell me to buy, buy, buy! LOL
We should be securing way more than 4 million dollars. Hopefully in the 8 figure range. Let's hope this has been done and we hear a release soon.

In regards to revenue outlooks I think 500,000 in revenue is a good estimate, if not even conservative. Cryoport reported 400,000 in inventory for ME Sept. 30. If it cost $100 to manufacture a shipper and we ship those twice a month while earning $50 a shipper that is 400,000 in revenue right there. That is just for one month. I believe we are manufacturing shippers for less than $100 meaning we probably have more than 4,000 shippers and we probably can ship each container more than twice a month. IMO, When we compare the potential for future cash flows with our current stock price it is grossly undervalued and when revenues show the news will get out.

HS guess everyone is off for Christmas. We should hear news by Feb. 15th if not, that quarterly should give is some kind of revenue and I can't wait to take a look. Apparently we are doing a lot of shipments right now and we are not burning through our cash reserve as quickly as a result if at all. In other news, Fedex won't advertise at super bowl for the first time in over a decade. They are really trying to cut costs and we will help them do that. http://www.thestreet.com/story/10454629/1/fedex-wont-advertise-during-super-bowl.html?cm_ven=GOOGLEN
Merry Christmas to ALL
and Good tidings
Saying fear and greed driving stock prices is naive? What do think started this market mess, greed, and what do you think is finishing it, fear, for the last 12 months. Your jargon is more impressive than your your actual analysis.
Here is a link that talks about the impacts of DHL's exit to UPS and Fedex.

The broader market and global economy will have little impact on our success as a company. We are working with customers in the Health Care industry which may take a hit on it's stock price temporarily but as far as profit margins go they will keep consistent while other markets such as tech(WFWL) will take a bigger hit because there is not a NEED for it, there is a want for it. Cryoport's sp may be suffering (temperorarily) from the slow economy but IMO we will see business and revenues regardless of a economic downturn.
Cryoport, I think your post #1333 is right on. Revenue growth is KEY and will create SP appreciation. Although investors are steering away from risk(Cryoport)currently, I believe the consesus is that the market will recover. That being said, I beleive Cryoport's life is much more dependent on our cash flows, revenues and liquidity rather than the market downturn. When these things show up on our balance sheet our sp will go up, how much? well then I think that is when the market comes in. (IF all that happens and a recovery takes place, we will outperform the market.)
There is no doubt that we will not reach our potential sp with the whole market down, nobody will and generally will recover. The market downturn is not what concerns me though regarding Cryoport's future success as a company. If the whole market crashes were all screwed whether your in nanocaps or strong value co.'s. If Cryoport executes and the market recovers we will see what we all want to see. What concerns me is that everything is been coming together such as, customers, build up of inventory but still no way to read current cash flows or future cash flows. From the available information it seems that would should see building revenues but, we have all been waiting for a long time to see it so it almost seems like a myth. We shall see in the next 6 - 12
It is a double edge sword. On the negative side this might affect the number of trials. (unlikely because health is one of the most important industries and our clients are so large this should not materially change our revenues) but on the positive side Cryoport does offer cost savings to actually help these companies that are losing funding.
This is absolutely relevant and should be taking into account. The connection to Cryoport is in my eyes is that it won't quite reach us though because this cut spending will generally hurt the smaller bio's more than the larger players. Cryoport has taken a stance of dealing with these larger players which has probably delayed progress more than I would have hoped but is proving to be the right choice. If Quest goes bankrupt we have alot more problems than just trading stocks and investing our money.
I am all for the exchange of ideas and opinions and message boards are precisely for that. But, this is a CRYOPORT message board not a trade and money management board for the broader markets. I love to discuss Cryoport, dig for signals and see the way people connect the dots in different ways . Cryo it has been my impression that they will be outsourcing just about everything and we shall soon see how well Mr. Bollinger has done. I will continue to wear my super sonic rose colored glasses. HAPPY THANKSGIVING To all

Because everything is down. What is the alternative? money markets? Bond market, 3 month T's made .6% today? intel? I'll bet traders made a ton today what did Cryoport do? IMO I would never invest enough in a penny stock that a margin call would break me but I trully believe Cryoport is about to see big revenues and news will make its way out. If you can take a 6 mo. to 12 mo. time horizon you can make more with cyrx than day trading short spiders or whatever. tiger tell us whats next?
I don't know how anyone can doubt this company at this point. There is a reason for inventory build up. During this build up we get an interview from P.B. himself telling us he forecasts over 50 million in revenues in the future and clarifies strategic alliances with Fedex and Air Liquide. Following this interview came Quest, Dupont, Mayo, ABC and Advinus and it is rumored that there is more coming. These are not small companies that would gamble on any company, especially Fedex. You can research and find endless headlines of companies taking advantage of the growth of Bio's in India and Asia-Pacific(multibillion dollar industry)Cryoport has set up itself to be the means of transporting these goods. Revenues are coming and the stars are aligning. I'm guessing the technical basis for a .20 sp is based on a graph low from 2007. IMO I have to form my analysis based on CURRENT hard evidence.

I love it. Cryoport gives tigertrader kudos when he posts on the this board twice and day while not saying a thing about cryoport and isn't even invested in Cryoport.
Yeah you forgot some people Cryoport. Longbull, Dwalrus and someone you may have heard before Trey Meehan. The news lately has been good and there is more to come. I've been digging around and you can plainly see that Quest with their accredited analysis, one of only few in India, and Fedex continuing their new hub in asia-pacific to open in early 09'that all of these companies are setting up to take advantage of the growth in the areas. Cryoport is right in the mix of it all and will soon be the standard. Very exciting to see where we have come since a year ago, although it was agonizing.

Great post, Old Timer
Cryoport is executing it's business plan to a T. I think it's like EGGO said, I wish I could just forget about it and check back in 6 months but I am a kid as well waiting for Christmas. It's all about Fundementals.
As suspected numbers are grim but inventory and finished goods are way up from June. We should see some good revenues in the next 6 months.
