Whittenhall,
It occurs often. It is my understanding it is the MMs sending messages to one another. There has been, however, an individual or two who used to purchase a round lot at .001 every now and again (until approximately early 2018).

I am here. I have been awaiting posts from others rather than 85% being from myself A great deal of progress has been made across the ecosystem, and IMO we are getting close. However, regardless of how close "I" feel we are, we simply do not know anything definitively. With zero news having emanated from the company for years, and then Neom going Dark, we simply carry zero information, and therefore, zero timing. Neom went Dark for a reason. It will simply need to play itself forward.
I have been awaiting particular CPG applications and am now beginning to spot what appear to me as advanced beta POS applications. Let us hope it is the beginning.

Tankman,
Of course QR codes are freeware! Shame on you for not doing DD. QR codes were developed by Denso Wave in Japan. They opened the technology up many many years back! Of COURSE QR codes are free.
However, it is not the QR codes themselves which Neom's patents cover. Their patents cover the "INDIRECT" method of utilizing "any" 2D barcode (not merely QR codes) [or more precisely, "any" machine readable input]. Scanbuy had attempted to have Scanlife become one of the standard 2D codes but was unsuccessful.
This represents the very basics of Neom's patents. I strongly suggest everyone reading this have a run at truly understanding the technology prior to making assumptions or delivering snarky remarks.

Mexico pilots national NFC and QR mobile payments system
By Liz Morrell • 16 May 2019
https://www.nfcworld.com/2019/05/16/362713/mexico-pilots-national-nfc-and-qr-mobile-payments-system/
Mexico’s central bank Banxico has begun trials of its cashless QR and NFC Cobro Digital (CoDi) electronic payment system with employees of financial institutions including BBVA Bancomer, Citibanamex, Santander, Banorte, Banregio and Fincomun.
The system works by using QR codes to make electronic transfers through mobile phones which are linked to a user’s bank account.
For counter sales, the merchant generates a collection message in the form of a static or dynamic QR code or NFC message which is sent to the customer’s mobile.
More financial institutions are expected to join the pilot in preparation for a national rollout to the public at the end of September.
The introduction of electronic payments aims to reduce Mexican consumers’ dependence on cash and drive use of bank accounts, according to Deputy governor of the Bank of Mexico Gerardo Esquivel, who believes the pilot will help to improve financial inclusion.
“CoDi will be a mandatory payment system for all banks in the financial system. It will have a few months of evaluation and learning for its full implementation at national level, and will become very important in terms of financial inclusion,” he said.
A further aim of enabling cashless payments is to crack down on problems such as money laundering, tax evasion and corruption in the country.
Ticketmaster to roll out NFC ticketing for iPhones and Apple Watches ‘later this year’
By Liz Morrell • 20 May 2019
https://www.nfcworld.com/2019/05/20/362739/ticketmaster-to-roll-out-nfc-ticketing-for-iphones-and-apple-watches-later-this-year/
EXCERPT:
Support for NFC mobile ticketing forms part of SafeTix, a new Ticketmaster service that the company said “leverages new technology to give event owners control over their tickets by tying a unique, identifiable digital ticket to each fan’s mobile phone through an encrypted barcode that automatically refreshes every few seconds”.
“The tickets also include NFC technology that will allow fans to enter venues through a simple ‘tap and go’ experience at venue entrances,” it added.
“SafeTix will be used across NFL stadiums for the 2019 season and for a variety of touring artists.”
Ticketmaster said the service will also be rolled out at additional venues equipped with its existing Ticketmaster Presence NFC platform.
NFC ticketing is becoming increasingly popular at event venues. Los Angeles Football Club and FC Bayern Munich both introduced similar systems at their home grounds late last year.
The auto-refreshing encrypted barcodes that form part of SafeTix are designed to reduce fraudulent ticketing, improve communication with genuine ticket holders and make it easier for customers to transfer tickets legitimately, Ticketmaster said.

BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: NEOM.OB), the pioneer in global mobile barcode management solutions, today announced Jeff Huitt as its newly appointed Chief Financial Officer. Huitt brings a strong track record of public company expertise. Huitt replaces Colonel Barry S. Baer who has been NeoMedia’s part time CFO since February 2012. Colonel Baer will continue to be NeoMedia’s Corporate Secretary.
Barry was replaced as CFO six months into his position.

Reposting:
Junior,
I look forward to reading the Case Study once Neom reignites and brings us to our happy place
Not many individuals in the world understand the type of business principles we have been witnessing in play. Years back, I recall my "collaboration" mantra. I had emphasized ad nauseam that I believed (and continue to believe) Neom and certain key players within the ecosystem were collaborating, and that the successful birth of the ecosystem essentially relied upon such collaboration; it was crucially relevant.
Today, due to obvious circumstances which unfolded both on and after July 1, 2016, the word "collaboration" is replaced with "Going Dark" and "No Bankruptcy Filed."
As in the past, many will understandably look past these two new facts. However, to those having performed TRULY EXTENSIVE due diligence, they may begin to consider the broader landscape.
It has been argued that a particular email from Neomedia's former CFO explicitly demonstrates the company is dead. HOWEVER, given the many years of absolute silence by all seniors at Neom, why would they apprise a "Part Time" employee with their secretive plans? Yes, Barry was "PART TIME!" I would not care had he been President of the United States , had Neom been my company I would not have advised him (a "part timer") of our deepest plans, and I therefore believe they held this information from Barry...JMSO.
In time, perhaps others will view matters similarly to myself. Or perhaps not All are entitled to their personal views.
All of the above, JMO.
