I mean seriously, why am I not amazed?.........Mark Zandi names several policymakers as potential replacements for Time Geithner, but he seems to favor JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon.... http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/mark-zandi-jamie-dimon-fabulous-replacement-tim-geithner-154151963.html
This may help you..............."Under the agreement "in principle," senior bondholders would get 21.1 cents on the dollar, with derivates claims getting between 27.9 cents and 32 cents. Unsecured claims would receive 19.9 cents. Bondholders would have gotten 25.4 cents under Paulson's rival plan, and just 16 cents under the Goldman Sachs-Morgan Stanley proposal, which would pay counterparties up to 40 cents on the dollar",
Check my posts, we've been here since 08', but still am very "green" to what we are considered as far as what kind of debt if any? Do we fall under any of these........."Under the agreement "in principle," senior bondholders would get 21.1 cents on the dollar, with derivates claims getting between 27.9 cents and 32 cents. PS, sure thought all the PR today, even though months away, would have sparked a rally of some kind :(
I agree 100%, I think everyone from Wall Street to the MM's are watching to see what happens to Wamu, whatever happens to them will tell the story for us IMO, Curtis.
So glad I'm still hanging on to 10k c's for my daughter, just a lil' down in the dumps today and wanted to vent......... :(
Well, it's been over a year here that we've seen .04 cents and .06 cents on the ask is awfully exciting, just need a little more news here and maybe things will pick up a bit, good luck all, Curtis and Jill....Who knows what would happen if WE hit the ask?!
SO, was this on June 15th agenda, and now we are delayed WED(15th)? TIA, Curtis.
I too believe Peck has a little more skin in the game here than THJMW, just an opinion we'll see, Curtis. PS, do we need an "acronym" for Peck too? Just asking, LOL.
I POSTED ON "J" BOARD EARLIER....I found interesting and seems we have more traffic here than on preferred boards, hope you enjoy it, we did, Curtis and Jill.....Surely we have someone here that is as sharp or sharper than this young man, when will we ever get OUR day in court? Copied from wamuq at yahoo board......."WaMa Little Guys' Hero" is the title!...

I was off work yesterday w/no internet at home(since Joplin tornado), do we still have NO PR on news this week ($2B plus $2B)? Expected much more excitement here the last few days, TIA, Curtis.
Thx Zilla, I thought we had a good day last week volume wise, and am still uncertain why we did w/NO news until yesterday. Someone knew something last week IMO, Curtis.
Daisy, did we not see 1 day last week at this level(1 million) once? I thought we did once last week, TIA, and I may be wrong, I just dont have access to past daily volumes.
With all due respect to the board, I expected alot more here today, volume and pps. Why does everyone here think there has been an uptick (7 days or so) in the J-series prior to news yesterday? Just curious and trying to put all the recent hype into perspective, waiting for 10% recovery myself, and NO less, Curtis and Jill.
Joyce, how many did they fill, if you don't mind me asking? TIA, Curtis.
IMO, I think LHHMQ(CT as well) is the buy right now, however the ask is .20 cents!! If i had the "guts" to sell my 150K J's and swap them I would(afraid I'd never get filled), but am currently enjoying $1500 gain everytime we go up a penny here, Curtis and Jill. Hoping for 10% recovery here, that would be some what "life changing" for us.
ALL Jill and I know is that its been a LONG year awaitin' here in Missouri, that's for sure!!!!!! Let's all see what tomorrow will bring. G'nite all......
I've been here awhile and don't post alot. I realize the "news" came late in the day, however we saw some movement late here. We all have discussed CT's as well, why in the world did we NOT see any activity in the CT's today? Thanks in advance, Curtis and Jill. (Also, I bought C series last year for my daughter and have seen zero activity/trading from them for months, are they still "alive"?) thx again....
No kidding, they're gain today was more than we(J's) are worth, who knows what we might open at in the AM?! Good luck everyone, it's certainly been a long time here, still holding 150k, Curtis and Jill.
Bearish
Netflix, Inc. (NFLX)
The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (GS)
JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM)
..............WHAT A SHAME............30 DAY CHART LOOKS AS GOOD AS IT HAS FOR MONTHS, A LITTLE HERE A LITTLE THERE, THX MM'S, CURTIS.
CT's taking a beating today, sure wish they sell me some?!
I suppose triggering some stop sells on the CT's today is a good thing? Maybe a lil' run ahead of us, comments? TIA, Curtis.
SO,.12 CENTS TIMES $25.00/share WOULD BE $3.00 A SHARE POSSIBLY, if we're patient enough someday, just asking and getting weary here. Sounds a little high to us, but would take it(someday), Curtis and Jill. (OUR kids want to know, lol) :)
EVERY "lil" bit helps I guess?.....http://finance.yahoo.com/
EVERY "lil" bit helps I guess?.....http://finance.yahoo.com/
I hope so, I'm ready to sell and begin to sleep at night again myself, Curtis and Jill.
THAT WAS A BUNCH.....EOM :)
LEHLQ specifically? Will this affect us regardless? TIA, Curtis.
"guster0", I appreciated it!!! If/when we get payday here we'll just buy the Chiefs, how about that!??
My wife has followed the Steelers (Black and Yellow) for awhile, my Chiefs let me down a few weeks ago, but at least we were there to see it. Don't google the "Black and Yellow' song however, it's not that appropriate or kid friendly, GO Steelers for now, LOL, Curtis.... seriously, it's not that good! http://www.chewonthatblog.com/2011/01/25/black-and-yellow/
Yes Sir, they do.... holding my measley 146,175 until the end, good luck Dnoto, Curtis and Jill in Missouri.
I do like this guy here however...Rupert H. Johnson...http://www.nndb.com/people/865/000172349/ and his brother.... http://www.nndb.com/people/862/000172346/ It appears we are at least in good company!
What do we know about these guys is my question, there is alot of johnsons on the top of that list.?....https://www.franklintempleton.com/retail/pages/generic_content/global_nav/about_us/officers_directors.jsf
5.3% OF COMMONS, $2M is not that abnormal, but thanks for information dnoto, Curtis.... PS, Regulatory issues...In 2004, Franklin Templeton paid fines to the State of California, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to settle issues regarding questionable practices including market timing. The plan for distribution of settlement monies was completed in September 2006, and all distributions have been completed as of December 2008.
A settlement was also completed with the Ontario Securities Commission concerning Bissett Funds in September 2005.[8]....Are they at it again would be my question? Do they know something we don't, KEYWORD, "market timing"?....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_Templeton_Investments
Man, you would think this would be some kind of good news, but what do I know? No rise in our pps weakens me at the knees, holdinf til the end and adding occasionally, Curtis.
Thx Dnoto, just realized they were Preferreds and that we purchased them because less were issued (5M I believe, unlike J's 66M) and that their original face value was $50 unlike J's at $25, thanks for correction however, GLTA, Curtis and Jill.
