Yo Jim54, did you mean paranoia? Interesting. If trying to be objective is what you call paranoia, then I guess you're right. Nonetheless, I prefer to be guided by objective observation than by euphoric emotional jibberish. It's like being married to a real sociopathic bitch and constantly overlooking her illness while continually making excuses for her behavior.
Carpe, thanks for your time and explanations in all your posts. Believe me, it is appreciated. While I share many of your beliefs and hopes, new investor as I am, I have learned a few fundamentals regarding this arena. I believe it is critical to any investment perspective to be as devoid of emotion as possible and never be enamored with any stock. Emotion can only serve to cloud one's judgment. It is my hope that this will perform as you suggest, however for the sake of self-preservation I will strive to remain as objective as possible. There is no denying that the share price is well below where it should be which gives rise to my concern. Thanks again Carpe for your observations.
Powerbar, sorry to hear about that loss. I really appreciate your succinct curteous response. My hopes for this mirror yours. Thanks again.
Thanks Rook. I really appreciate your input and your polite response. I agree the price is tightening up on much lower volume, however it has been closing down slightly the last two days. That totally amazes me in light of all the positives. I'm hoping it's ready to adjust to where it belongs.
Rook, thanks for your input. I am heavily invested in this stock and of course "want" to believe the best for it. My questions arise in the midst of removing all emotion from this. The ironic and frustrating element here is that even with the forthcoming published 10Q and the company's apparent transparency, as evidenced by reading this board, maintaining trust and confidence becomes a diligent undertaking.
Well Viper, I appreciate your insight but not your sarcastic comments. This whole process is a learning curve for me. After watching our crooked and manipulated banking system take a big dump, the extremely low approval rating for our congress and distrust, it's not hard to imagine that Wall Street will be next. I believe the American public is getting fed up with all this manipulation and lying. From your comments I perceive that manipulation is just a normal course of accepted business in this whole investment arena. No wonder the American public has no trust in our government, in banking and in Wall Street.
What are you saying? I'm not following what you mean. I'm in the learning curve of this whole scene. Just from a logical point of view I'm surmising that with all the positives, ie skyrocketing revenue and profits, growth, volume, advertising, then to see the share price fluctuate in minutia spells manipulation to me. I'm thinking it's very possible that there are those who own enough shares that, when working in concert with each other, can control the share price. What I believe is happening is they move the price minutely up and down and with the amount of shares they have they make their money and in the process they shake out the nervous nellies and gobble up their shares as well. When they finish at this level, I believe we'll see the same thing on the next leg up.
What are you saying?? You don't think a stock can be manipulated? You don't think this is being manipulated?? Let me guess, it's a coincidence??
I've personally got quite a bit invested here and am growing more concerned daily as I watch what to me is obvious manipulation. Has anyone filed anything with the SEC to look into this?
Carp, I just found this on the Yahoo board: "I don't know if this has been circulated yet, but someone sent this to me regarding Alfie and past stock improprieties."
It's pretty scary.

This adds credence to my earlier thoughts that those that hold large numbers of shares are manipulating this. The person in this link is a major stockholder in SPNG. Consider that if him and only a few others that hold very large quantities of SPNG were to work together. Are you telling me they couldn't control this?? I really believe someone needs to file a complaint with the SEC to investigate this. I'm seeing the same manipulation with ASFX as well.
I'm new to this game, but I don't think it's the shorts that are manipulating this. If they are, it's only to a small degree. I believe there are some very influential holders of this stock that hold huge amounts and they are the ones controlling every move this takes. Shake off enough at these low prices and they just accumulate more. I may be wrong, but to me it makes sense.
Carp, you think the bailout will make this move? Nothing else does.
Doesn't look like I will break even unfortunately. By the looks of the control on this one I think it will be a long time before it moves. Now moving up to the AMEX would hopefully make some difference. I've just never seen so much control. With all the positives to this, just doesn't make sense.
No offense guys, but if I can get out clean I've promised myself I will never play the pinks again. When you take all the emotion out of this, it's pure control, that's all that's left.
Even with dried up volume this stock still remains the most manipulated I have ever seen!!! With all the positives going for this, it is unbelievable!!!!
RECORD BREAKING SALES, RECORD BREAKING VOLUME, RECORD BREAKING GROWTH!!!!!! HANG ON FOR A WILD RIDE TODAY SPNGrs!!!!
Hey Doog, did you see the news? 2M in 4 days gross revenue!! Hmmmm, that's approximately 96M a year if their growth were to stay as it is. I think we will really start to see short-sighted investors run for the hills very soon!!
SpongeTech reports record breaking sales
Sep 26, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- SpongeTech Delivery Systems Inc (OTCBB: SPNG), a company which designs, produces, and markets reusable cleaning products for household use, declared on 25 September that the company has recorded more than USD2m in gross revenue through its successful marketing campaign between 20 September and 24 September 2008.
In addition, SpongeTech stated that it is on target to meet its future goals.
The company reportedly carried out its marketing campaign through national television, national radio and print advertising campaigns, including on the Howard Stern Radio Show, the Mad Dog Radio Show, WFAN Radio, the Business TalkRadio Network, the Lifestyle TalkRadio Network, the SNY Television Network and the YES Television Network.
Thanks for that. I'm aware of that. That's my point, it obviously is still being influenced by the "short" players. It seems that since the new SEC edict of going after them it has only increased their activity.
Well, I'm all ears. Tell me how it is with all the good news, the tremendous increasing revenues, all the advertising, re-orders, etc, what is keeping this down? I'm not being facetious, I'm new to this, but am amazed daily why this doesn't break out. That's not manipulation?? Please explain.
Red, what is your opinion on the affect Moody's will have on this stock factored in with the fed's action? Up, down, or oblivion?
WPO, I thing someone needs to report the activity of this stock to the SEC, this is the most controlled security I've seen. I'm new to this, but have watched the market for many years and have never seen such a controlled environment!!!
Anyone have an idea where those that manipulate this will allow it to close today?
I agree Carp, and I'm long on this one too. I've just never seen such manipulation! With all that's going on with this company it's totally amazing the SP can be held down at all!!
Not going to happen crash.
This is the most controlled and manipulated stock I've ever seen! I'm betting it will close at 0.028.
Thanks again Doog. Great post!! I really appreciate your time.
Doog, thanks for your time. Just a single father with 4 kids trying to make ends meet. I really appreciate you taking your time to answer a few questions.
Also the volume on this has been really slowing down. Again, I appreciate your time on this.
Appreciate your time Dood. I feel I can trust your judgment after reading your posts for quite some time now. I'm new to this whole scene and wanted your honest opinion. I'm concerned about ASFX, the fact that the stock just sits there without moving, then taking a dip on Friday, and also the fact that the PRs for this are getting awful lean. I've got quite a bit riding on this one and it's my retirement money, so I'm getting a bit nervous. Sure would appreciate your honest input.
Doog, are you on the board now?
I want to ask you a question about another board you're on, a question about the stock, but I don't think it's proper to do so on this board. The ASFX board.
Doog, are you still there? I want to ask you a question about another board you're on.
My apologies. Thanks
Tturner, I'm a newbie here and learning as I go. Why do you say management is a fraud? Can you explain?
Anyone know what makes this stock move? TNT, C-4? It's not volume or good news. Any ideas?
Wadi, you're on the Yahoo board. What do you know about that email they're all buzzing about?
That's why I'm asking if anyone here knows. Really no indication, just is causing a lot of buzz. My best guess is it's just typical BS to try to stir things up.
Seems to be.
Anyone out there know anything about an email they're buzzing about on the Yahoo board? Sure is stirring everyone up. Sure would like to know what that's all about.
