sure is fun to see the L2 showing some real Bids and real Offers. i don't feel so blind, may have to change my name.
I have been on the road all day and wow. I smell bacon cookin'. Nice way to finish the week. BTW its like 80 degrees in Denver todoy. Have a good weekend all.
nice dig King, master web miner.
the symbiotic relationship between the three companies, KBLB, SIAL and SGMO is compelling evidence to me that all involved are intrigued about the future of biocrafting and what it will bring down the road. i see SGMO as a solid partner. in fact it has raised my confidence in KBLBs leadership and the direction he is taking.
seven reasons to own KBLB;
1. excellent leadership.
2. an idea for the times.
3. great growth potential.
4. growing exposure.
5. truly small capitalization.
6. competitive edge.
7. managed growth trend.
taken from the book "The Small Cap Investor" by Ian Wyatt.
RU, i have tried to stimulate a discussion in this direction when the news hit. at that time it seemed most just didn't think it to be a big deal, well i still believe it is a big deal. SIAL is a wholesale, costco type, B2B, shopping venue. SGMO has the same basic arrangement with SIAL. if KBLB was selling lightbulbs and landed a partnership with SamsClub the PPS would not be where it is now. i understand that the nature of bio business brings caution and bio stocks have earned the caution. but when the perceived viability is realized, bios can be very fulminic. the CC will be positive, perhaps helping investors comprehend the real value of the partnership.
i got to agree King, why would SGMO avoid talking about their products potential in the market place? there really are people who are looking for the next big thing, i.e. biocraft. KBLB
i was listening to some news thing the other day and thought thier statement about how new technical innovations will be a catalyst for building back the ecomomy. if the timing works out right, spidersilk may very well play a role.
i have always thought how strange it was that i could drive my '56 Renualt Dauphine down the same roads they let Corvettes use. so how does this relate; well i'm just some blind pig of an investor, and i may be holding valuable stock that some truly intelligent investor also is holding, and by the caliper of the post being made here, i'm convinced that that is the case.
thanks RU,
the rats are for research purposes right? i was trying to develope an understanding of how new this application of ZF/piggybac will be to the world market place. i believe it is new. the ramifications of this technology are a bit overwhelming to fully appreciate when so early in the process. for me i have seen alot of tech appear on the scene that has changed the world. i was not in a position to capitalize on those opportunities as i am now. for me i have made great changes in how i look at KBLB. i used to trade it, now i'm just holding.
saint, nice review, its been awhile seeing that link, thanks.
good point...similar.... well what i'm asking is; do we see companies useing ZF to produce a product on a level close to what this spidersilk could do to the fiber industry? i'm aware of GM in seeds, ect. but how about with animals?
i got to go out so i will have to read a reply later. thanks.
your point on the "safety of this investment" i share. may i add that just the way the PPS is holding shows strenght in conviction of the investors. daily dips seem to get filled.
KBLB has proven over time to be appreciated. KBLB has not made a dime of income. yet look at how people value the stock! if one checks the reads KBLB gets on this board one would also realize others, who do not post info, what to learn everything they can about KBLB and its science.
welcome aboard BioDoctor, i look forward to your contributions to the mass of DD that keeps building and being shared on this board.
BioCraft is coming of age, right?
question. are there other examples you are aware of that mirror what is taking place with this type of work? is there something similar that's already working?
zinc, i have my eye on SGMO. they have to be very excited about this move. in the mid 80s i bought a mac-plus for $2,500. it had one meg of RAM, it was state of the art. why i didn't buy APPL then i don't remember. could have been i had no vision. i think i see the hazy outline of ditation with KBLB.
Could SIAL be glad that they have made a significant move in what could be a cutting edge innovative new biocraft industry [KBLB] with a multi-billion $$$ potential?
zinc, i have been out with my son for the last few days and just got caught up on my reading the board and would like to thank you for your indepth insights. i share your rationale for investing in KBLB. the age of biocrafting is here. as i have said in the past, Kim Thompson is like a prospector with a nose for finding gold. what he is and has done is like finding a huge gold vein by scracthing around in the desert with a rented mule and borrowed pick and shovel. personally i'm truly amazed at his orchestration of the components necessary to bring this "proven concept" to market. even a blind pig as i, could very well profit from it.
biocraft science could become a monster industry.
Kraig Biocraft Labs. has a techonogy that reminds me of an EA game called 'Spore' by Will Wright.
so lets say, one takes a Hagfish, that can convert a 5 gallon bucket of water into 5 gallons of slime filament protein in just minutes, with lets say, barnacle cement protein. the outcome could be a prolific superglue biofarm. apply it to monstersilk and one could catch a jumbo-jet! the door is open.
saint, i had the same gut wrenching feeling cascade over me, but,
KBLB has class. even the board has drawn world class posters with insight and understanding of technical issues,(beyond my comprehension),and willing to share. watching the unfolding of this drama has certainly not been boring.
thanks zinc.
agree, if one thinks they are going to sell high and grab some of the cheaper shares they will likely get burned. not enough volume to make that type of flipping pay.
have a good weekend all.
you said it better than i.
zinc, thank you for the clairity. your summation is very well put. if i may reiterate, KBLBs deal with SIAL +(SGMO) is a BIG DEAL and the news was bigger than most investors realized at the time of the P/R. thanks again.
welcome aboard Zinc Fingers and others, thanks all for some great topics. very dynamic times going on with KBLB.
agreed, in the early P/Rs KBLB made and when the breakthrough was announced the applications became apparent. SIAL has basicly said we want to sell your stuff. now sometime ago we found that sericulture is not high tech, in fact it is low tech. once the right silkworms are grown that hurdle will not be very high. KBLB has its pipes laid and in the ground, just waiting for the well drilling to be finished. going to be out for the day. be reading all later.
SIAL is is on the move. one of the hottest stocks on the Nasdaq this morning. why? because it's on a role. KBLB is a player in the present forseeable future for SIAL. cutting edge tech.
if SIAL is like Sams Club or costco for the scientific world then spidersilk will become a hot product on a front shelf. we have already conjured up a plethera of applications and probably haven't even scratched the surface. KBLB has a vehicle (SIAL) for monotizing it's product so whats next? provide the product!
eddy, you are letting your blindness get to you. i absolutely understand your frustration. one thing a blind person will do when in an unpredictable situation is stop and be still and soak up the whole environment before making anymore moves. but we really are not in an unpredictable situation. progress is in the works, dynamic progress.
all i can say is Kim picked a happenin' company with a dynamic future to be working with. non of KBLBs paramours are dogs. in fact they are highly rated companies/universities/scientist/advisers. even the proven concept is hot. i'm impressed!
695, i have been to your blog, it looks great! i was there around a week ago. got to much on my plate to get involved now, maybe later. i will put the sites on my favorites. thanks.
someone referred to SIAL as being like Wal-Mart i think it is more like Sams Club. they buy a product from one company, (SGMO), then sell it to other companies, (like KBLB). it appears they will want to buy products from KBLB to sell to other companies. the deal Kim has with SIAL is a vehicle for monetizing its proven concept. jeepers is this deal not what it seems to be. i think Kim may believe we investors need to understand what really has already taken place, CC for clairification. just kicking around a thought.
i don't look at it as an hour to hour thing. traders are taking large long positions worth a fair amount of money, bullish.
seems todays trading for KBLB is showing accumulation is in progress, that is, smart accumulation. when i see $11,550. orders take place, i think bullish.
you know, if anything needs to be fast-tracked this type of protection is it. KBLB.
wow, manshoon1, thank you for being one of the best mods on I-HUB, your work on the I-BOX and your dedication to the board have been highly reguarded by me for one.
Redskin, i trust your tenure will also be greatly appreciated as KBLB moves into this next incredible phase. you will have and need our support to keep a handle on the fine foundation laid here for a reliable source for DD. it seems it's time for the superstruture to go up. more investors are coming and the board will be asked to answer more questions then ever along with keeping us inline with the facts. thanks for volunteering. i'll try not to be a pain....
web-King Bolaba,
when all the fartin' around ends, the PPS growth begins.
i tend to think he has some kind of plan, but being a CEO is alot like like being a captian of a ship and needs to make decisions with changing conditions. i like the captian and i'll trust he's doing things responsibly. have a good weekend all. EOM
Ocho, i'm not so sure we don't know the details of the deal. in the 10-K there is this statement; look at April 8th.
NOTE 9 SUBSEQUENT EVENTS
Management has evaluated subsequent events through April 12, 2011, the date which the financial statements were available to be issued.

All payments are non-refundable.
On April 1, 2011 the Company issued 1,000,000 shares with a fair value of $70,000 ($0.07/share) to a consultant for research and development services.
OK, fine, but what i'm seeing is different, thats all. i'm not asking anyone to believe me. just sharing my thoughts.
there is a bigger picture here, all i'm doing is backing up enough to see what it is.
well if one looks at their daily chart the turn around for SIAL came about at the same time of their P/R about KBLB deal (when the market was down) and that was followed by a raise in out-look for their target price by Goldman-Sachs.
connect the dots. confidence is high from my point of view.
SGMO sells and profits from tech to SIAL, SIAL sells and profits from the tech to KBLB, KBLB uses the tech to sell and profit from products made.
just check out the other players pre-market activity both are gapping up this morning, why? what's new for them to do this?
i agree. they (all three) are linked in a contracted deal that will benefit them handsomely.
my gut tells me they are excited about what this opportunity will do for their bottom line. in the past the board has talked about how huge the potential market is for these textiles, Billions $$$, their shareholders will want to hear the story and they will tell them. KBLB, SIAL an SGMO are linked to an opportunity for capital gains that can flip the textile world on its head. the community that trades sub-dollar is jaded, but, the community that trades NASDAQ bios is some what more mature. i follow Sheff's board, they won't even let one talk about penny stocks. i got a feeling one day they'll be talking about KBLB.
KBLB CC, SIAL CC, SGMO CC all in May. is there a link to this, do they have something in common? they are excited about the opportunity that lies before them and want to share it with their shareholders. Ditation is in the air.
