Meaney has had a lot of opportunities to promote the stock over the past number of years. His failure to do so in any meaningful way provides evidence that he's unwilling and unlikely to start. It just appears to NOT be on his list of priorities.
If there was any kind of volume with this stock, it might be a candidate for flipping. Nine cents might be a good opportunity price. However, because volume is so anemic, it would be tough to flip in quantities that make it worthwhile without impact to the share price. The few who look at this stock know that.
Maybe one day it will be sold and a few pennies could be added to the share price at that time. I don't see that happening in Meaney's lifetime. They're pretty much a one customer company and that customer is subject to the wonderful world of politics which isn't particularly comforting. As usual, I'd love to be proven wrong.
All IMHO

It's difficult to ignore the possibility that the company silence regarding Mikros MindR is because the "tremendous prospects" for the Mikros MindR have not materialized. I don't believe that even the Mikros folks would be deliberately withholding good news if it existed. They're not bashful about releasing good news from other revenue sources when they have it. The absence of news/updates can sometimes provide clues for investment decisions too. I guess we won't know until we know .... which is why we relegate this stock to the speculative wing of our portfolios. <G>
Pat
"Is there any hope at all for this?"
uhhhhh, yeah. The contract is in the mail. Trust me.
Pat
Ohhhhhh-kay ..... <G>
Pat
You do recognize that we've been in a bull market and this is a bear fund, right?
Pat
Doesn't that presume that he wants company growth? I just get a feeling that he would get very "protective" if someone began to make inquiries about buying the company and I can't imagine him ever initiating any "feelers". I'm also not convinced any longer that growth is necessarily a priority. I'm not suggesting that he wants to diminish the company but I don't believe he's losing sleep over the status quo. I've never talked to the man so I have no basis for those feelings. Actions often speak louder than words though. I'd sure like to be wrong. JMHO
Pat
We should probably conclude that there is no progress. Not likely they'd have a PR or an interview to reveal that news. I know .... it's not likely they'd have a PR or an interview to reveal any news! <G>
Pat
I was under the impression that Zeff had already liquidated sufficient shares to fall under the 5% threshold some time ago. Is that incorrect?
Pat
"Cant hold this POS more than 10 minutes long."
... and why would you have wanted to since the NAZ has been in an uptrend?
Pat
"Looks like he is still "planning on constructing a plan to plan for the plan of an airplane".
Precisely! Look closely at all of the past PRs. They contain the same type of wordsmithing. The PRs consistently describe "process" in a manner that makes it sound like "accomplishment" ..... when nothing has been accomplished. This has been going on for years.
Pat
"Why would they want a sprinkler repair guy on the board?"
Stop the press leaks?
Pat
I think their product is good and the Navy is obviously happy. That's a good thing. The Navy contracts are perfectly adequate to pay the help and permit Meany to happily pursue his hobby that he calls Mikros Systems ... and that satisfies his needs.
Pat
Who is putting out the buyout rumors?
Pat
I don't know Wilson. I'm sure he's a friend to many. I used to own this stock but sold long ago. I probably should have removed the "bookmark" for this board but didn't, so I continued to follow the infrequent postings out of simple curiosity. My investment was small and a recognized "crap shoot" from my "gambling" account so I'm not a "bitter" former investor by any stretch.
Though I wouldn't consider investing in this company based on a distant history, it would be difficult to ignore its relatively recent history … defined for my purposes as the last 3-5 years. It speaks for itself.
I'm assuming that most play this company for reasons of an emotional attachment to their long term investment or perhaps for a personal fondness for Wilson. I can't conceive of another reason.
I hope I'm wrong and the "loyal" investors are ultimately rewarded for their patience. My guess, however, is that the remaining people in this stock will hold until it all fades away. I was wrong with this company once. I could be wrong again but I don't think so. Time will tell.
Good luck.
Pat
For years they've provided only stories about some phantom contract. No accomplishments. Just stories.
I defy anyone to give a reason for optimism based on something other than one of the company's utterly empty press releases? I am so curious to hear anyone's logic for their interest in this company.
Pat
It is just inconceivable to me how ANYONE …. after all of these years …. can still believe that there is any future for NEIK. NEIK must even be scratching their heads in disbelief. Wow … <G>
Pat
Must be a whale!! Somebody's anticipating the government check that's promised in the next couple of weeks!
Pat
It's a good thing that Doc Russell has such good connections with Lockheed. Otherwise these negotiations wouldn't be going nearly as quickly and effectively. We're probably just mere decades away from an agreement because of this advantage.
Pat
I recognize that. I was just being cynical. I suspect there isn't anyone with whom they're currently talking. Perhaps there never has been. I have no idea how they continue to even exist. They've been talking about fantasy rainbows for years. Their press releases are comical due to the fact that they're so deliberately ambiguous. They are crafted to sound optimistic while at the same time saying absolutely nothing that indicates any evidence that they are making progress in any arena. It's amazing to me how there is any volume in this stock. I wonder if there are some who trade a few shares occasionally just to make the company appear to be a viable business.
Pat
They're too tied up in negotiations for the purpose of determining when the negotiations will begin. But it will be a money maker when they can get past that stalemate!
Pat
It's been that way for years.
Pat
As long as it has taken them to negotiate a deal with this imaginary company, can you imagine how efficient they would be at manufacturing an airplane if this actually was a real business? <G>
Pat
"Why do they release financials to stay up to date and then nothing happens?"
Only to keep people from bailing out en masse like they should.
Pat
Sadly, I don't believe we really have to wait for that confirmation to transpire. <G>
Pat
Agreed.
Pat
It would be a pleasant surprise if there was an interested entity for a buyout. I just don't anticipate it happening. I think the company will be a one trick pony until it's not. Zeff's recent selling suggests that he may believe the same. Time will tell. This is a stock that I've just decided years ago to hold until it breaks out or it breaks down. I own enough shares where it would be a nice strike if it's the former and my entry price is low enough to not be devastating if it's the latter. I've categorized it as part of my "gambling portfolio" since the day I bought it. Keep dealing the cards, Mr. Meany. I've still got some chips and I'm not ready to go to bed yet.
Pat
I DO still believe they're content. I mean that in the sense that they enjoy the work they are doing and have personal satisfaction as a result …. even absent what might have been greater potential financial rewards for them and shareholders if it was played differently over the last several years. Would they be happy if the share price skyrocketed? Sure. (if they noticed!) Would they be unhappy if it doesn't? I'm not sure they think that much about it because it's such a secondary thought for them compared to their job satisfaction. I've seen little in their public reactions to events that would lead me to believe anything different. I could be wrong. After all, I've been a shareholder for quite a long time. <G>
Pat
Probably no one has reported it because there are so few that have a financial interest in the stock anymore. Wouldn't you think that most have likely licked their financial wounds long ago and moved on?
Pat
"Possibly Dr Russell has found a more productive partner to latch his wagon to …."
He's long overdue to come up with a new partner with whom he can pretend to negotiate. He's hung on to this imaginary negotiating partner longer than usual.
Pat
"I still hope for a sale of the company but now would gladly take $0.25-$0.50 per share at this point. Just brutal."
I'm not sure that the dream of a sale of the company for .25 per share is even reasonable at this point. The way that Meaney and his crew handle the company suggests to me that this is merely an enjoyable hobby for them. It sure appears that increasing his family wealth via share price appreciation doesn't seem to be a priority. That's typically not an encouraging sign for those of us who had hoped to piggy back on his success! <G>
Pat
…. gurgle, gurgle ....
Would someone please play the fat lady onto the stage.
Pat
"Still don't know the reason for all the volume a few days ago."
Even more intriguing is the question "who are the fools that bought those shares!"
Pat
Better yet …. Did it EVER exist?
Pat
.… and this would be unexpected?
Pat
Maybe with the next reverse split down the line <G>.
Pat
Most of us already know.
Pat
Only because it is …
Pat
Yep, probably. In the same vein, I may be a potential multi-millionaire when I put together the right string of numbers on my lottery ticket. Not likely, but it is an example of a potential scenario.
Pat
"Why would Nerayoff stay? It’s a gaming company now. He was there for Global Blockchain."
That's true. You can't fault the Director of the company for just recently discovering the nature of the business he was running! He can't be faulted for that. After all, two other bigwigs in top management only learned within the last week or two also and took similar swift and decisive action by resigning. It must have been difficult for those in charge to get information regarding what type of business they were leading. Hopefully they'll replace these recent losses with others who can realize within a couple of quarters the current nature of the business. I think that would be a step in the right direction for a huge turnaround and share prices at 10x the current price.
Pat
Based on historical performance, it would be reasonable to presume that if they do get the deal finalized their crack marketing team will be precluded from divulging to potential customers any information pertaining to the nature of their product line, features, price, delivery dates, etc. due to confidentiality restrictions.
