Interesting day.
If you want to see a good bear play look at FXP - Ultra Short China Fund :) ...If anything its at least fun to watch. Its double short China's largest 25 corps. but only on any given day.
Looking for a more bear plays as we think the market will fall down in 30-60 days.
FXP is fun to watch :) Hope when I go to Ningbo and Beijing the Yuan has tanked :) Dollar will go very far.
Lot of support here :) Room to buy. If someone wants to dump more.
We know there is plenty of time. Also, we know some people are obviously willing to sell with some volume. Might as well be us to accumulate. When the selling is done you will see this go!
Just an FYI, we seek to acquire shares, then when this becomes the juggernaut we expect it to we will make a deal with another fund to do block trades and let them carry the torch.
I voiced that question with WNRC - about Marketing plans for UnScene. I got back...CEO is working on updating, not sure when and what that means, but I think they are in a position where they have to spell out something.
Not sure about Revenue Guidance. Hard to give guidance on something that hasn't been sold yet. Once they have a track record of selling them I am sure they will provide something. Like most companies in business...they are going to be thrilled to just get the first order under their belt, then get some traction with 2-3 more. Then possibly look for guidance.
My info is 2nd hand. So, take it for what you will. But, I believe if the company is successfull selling 1, this stock will be long gone from this level.
You're right. You don't have to explain that word.
But, in this case...No selling of restricted stock, options, warrants, etc. And, sources within the company concur about marketing means, if the company sells airships, they receive payments for services. So, the 'hope' for dilution if you are short, just isn't there. Because the company is only taking a cut of sales...not raising capital to spend it and hope for a cut. Finally, our understanding is that marketing means the leveraging of relationships. - Relationships don't cost money.
Why do they need to do financing if they have marketing agreements? Our assumption is they help market, get a contract...THEN get a cut. Usually how it works.
Collected a lot of shares between last week and this week.
Today's news was great for us - glad someone had to sell to pay the bills. Now its time to collect more in anticipation of revenue based news.
Can you provide revenue guidance or how their marketing plan works with UnScene?
Quantify big.
How many airships will they sell in 2008? What about 2009?
My guess is Mangold should do 10 in the first 12 months of business.
Suprised to see no other buying today. Or selling :(
The markets may have a hiccup, before the fall.
When it goes...it is going to really go! Did you look at the other one? WNRC. Interested to see what a chartist thinks. Keep in mind, I've never put much of anything into charting. Just momentum and news.
Keeping things in perspective. We believe the company is undervalued because of the Airship Business. If UnScene provides revenue, bonus.
Someone needs to explain what this does for WNRC. You assume it means they get some revenue split, but how much? If that assumption is true. EZ, you seem pretty tight with these guys can you get an answer? Our models don't include anything other than the airship business and the relationships Mangold has.
What is WNRC supposed to get out of this deal?
Unclear as to any revenue or anything...is it just for PR?
Who do you think bought last week?
We did good last week. Looking to do more of the same this week.
I am saying Mangold is a Colonel, who has experience and has the ability to close government contracts with homeland security, air force, border patrol, etc. We expect once the government sees one of these blimps actually flying he will be able to close at minimum 1 deal - but, in reality a lot more per year.
And, those contracts are usually paid partially up front. So WNRC doesn't need much money in the short term. - No dilution.
FXP, the ProShares UltraShort FTSE/Xinhua China 25
But, I doubt you'll see much in a chart, its experience in knowing how the market goes.
Pull up WNRC too. No chartist saw it coming back off its lows and its doing a slow and steady march back up.
Usually government contracts to purchase something are done as follows:
1st Payment - Usually enough to cover the actual cost of the project.
2nd Payment - Upon completion of a phase of development or construction
3rd Payment - Upon completion of another phase
4th Payment - Upon delivery
The airship side won't need really any money...only a sale, because a sale is usually accompanied with an upfront payment.
Don't you remember all of those $25000 toilet we bought in the 80's? They were mostly paid for in advance too.
I better keep quiet. My bid got jumped :(
Wonder what happens when China continues to build capacity at a faster rate then their consumer base (U.S. Included) grows. I also wonder what happens when the U.S. dollar falls so low that all of the sudden Chinese goods become regular price (i.e. expensive). I also wonder what happens when China starts imposing safety and quality regulations (as they have) to make exporting from China more difficult.
China will no doubt be around and a major world player for many years to come, but... expecting the bottom to fall out. Especially as the U.S. Economy is going to get slapped in the next 1-3 months.
At the time of this post WNRC is #26 on the breakout board.
Look for WENR Corp. - that is what I am talking about.

We wouldn't be here if dilution was the route.
About the 10th time I've heard about that stock. Definitely a good PR plan in place or just a lot of buzz. We'll see.
Looking forward to the Market downturn in 30-60 days. Be prepared.
Appealing...definitely.
You guys broke into the hot boards. http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/HotBoardsRelative.asp

Just some food for thought for you guys.
If you pump the stock to $.14-$.16 only to accumulate 2k isn't that the same as accumulating 2k at $.07-$.08 ..just more risk. Same amount of shares. We are not responsible for ensuring this particular stock has a lot of trading volume. We only see an opportunity to take advantage of a low priced stock that has potential to have very large gains.
Until they move up as a group we have our own opportunity to collect above that group (and still below the ask). Once the leaders of the group break - you will know. But for many mom/pop investors it will be a chase.
If this stock continues to only trade at $.07 to $.10 until the first flight and subsequent letter of intent to acquire airships or an impending sale - our strategy will have been a major success. As EZ has stated - the sale of even 1 airship could take the stock to $.50, if enough investors know about it and are willing to act on the knowledge and if they do so in a condensed time frame.
We have no desire to condense the time frame until we have accumulated what we feel is a solid position. We have no desire to spread the word or boost the stock price at this time. Just collect on the bid. A strategy I would personally recommend to anyone who wants to accumulate any stock.
We expect 4-5 market makers deep on the bid within a $.01-$.02 range to show up before this will see a sustained and consistent move.
We accumulated some today. We will continue to randomly sit on the bid. Until there is enough people sitting on the bid, we won't chase it, just collect.
Acquire shares on the bid.
This is positive news. We are looking forward to hearing more between now and the launch date. Including sales.
Buffet knows his offer won't be taken. He is setting this up as a PR move (kind of). He knows these companies can't afford to take his offer and lock in losses... but, when they end up losing even more...he will be in the position to be the white knight at an even better price.
+/- a month on the Chinese prophecy. It will happen this spring. Looking for a 5-10% correction (again) in the US markets... putting QQQQ at 40~41.
HOKU is a good stock to bounce around with. 10-20% gains repeatedly. Don't fall in love with stocks, just date them here and there.
Agreed. Buffet's proposal is a PR move only.
Look for HOKU as a good small cap play in Solar. In under $10 and out above $12...repeat.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A MELTDOWN IN THE CHINESE STOCKS STARTING AROUND MARCH 1...BE READY TO SHORT THEM.
