Marcos looks like a Brit;we gave them the boot in 1867..no mo, plz
I thought I recognized the accents...lol...not too many message boards have boards for CAD stocks...where's JoeMoney? I have 2 posts left for today & need to vent...
r u guys in Canada?
TWISTER...
great...let me ask you a qustion, how would you "feel" about a machine doing a circumcision? They have machines to do that procedure & I would just as soon have a machine control that procedure as work on my eyes...NOT!!!
Yes & I wonder how Dr Bores feels about the instruments that NVS can obtain from Presby considering Dr Bores has patents to the following:
Various surgical instruments (Bores Double-pronged fixation forceps, Bores adjustable diamond knife, etc), Katena Corp, 1980-present.
Diamond and crystal sapphire surgical blade design, KOI and XTAL Corporation, 1980-present.
Maybe if NVS does the deal with CDIK, Dr Bores will realize his dream of visiting the Space Station...after all it "only" costs $20 mil...look out space gremlins...lol...
wholelotsaluck...
isn't that what message boards are all about? putting the cart before the horse...hey...how do we get this TWISTER dude onto RB;he seems to have a fairly decent handle on CDIK & would be a welcome addition...BTW, RB has deactivated Vette_85;I guess our new best buds complained about being told off...
When I read the PR from NVS re Presby I got the feeling that they were more interested in some "tools" than the actual invasive procedure for treaating glaucoma. Apparently Presby has some patented medical forceps or something. Can't remember. Getting old. lol.
From what I understand, if NVS goes ahead with PNT, it will NOT be marketed with Rescula. Rescula is drops & is in the Pharmaceutical Division. I think Dr Bores would be the best person to ask this question but I think that people react differently to each of the available glaucoma treatments that are available. What works for some glaucoma sufferes, doesn't work for others. In addition, a 2 or 10 min treatment of PNT once every 3 or 4 months is more preferable to being subjected to drops every day or twice a day. I once asked Dr Bores if PNT was painful like passing a kidney stone. He said it was not THAT painful.
I agree...
that bad sector being JM...hehehe
Joemoney...
First you state in 13868:
"Anyone else agree with me?"
Then you say in 13872:
"but I didn't ask if anyone doesn't agree with me. So don't post to me if what I say doesn't concern you."
So which is it, dickweed? You appear to not even know what you write. lol
Joemoney...
"Anyone else agree with me?"
No...who said this was a democracy?...their sandbox;their rules...you don't like it,don't let the door hit your ass on the way out...
the site is www.agoracom.com they provide forums for companies someof which they also act as "Investor Relations" for...as a matter of fact they openly SPAMMED their own site on stockhouse.com...for instance they act for the KEWL corp...YKL on the CDNX...check the message board out on stockhouse.com...I actually got them TOS'd from stockhouse.com for SPAMMING & all their posts deleted up to the middle of March 02...lol...then they started posting again...they ran a contest on the superbowl & awarded prizes from KEWL corp...they sent me an email claiming I won a rpize & wanted my name & address to send the hat to me...yeah right...lol...They booted me so many times from agoracom.com that only my names were on their "tombstone"...but I digress...bottom line is that they are a joke as they are in a definite conflict of interest in some of the boards that they provide a forum for and have a rep for hosting "pumper" forums
from...
an RB bud...I am invested in one BB company & it is CDIK...he told me that the forum was a good one...the COB is right on top of the current status of the company...would you like me to SPAM your site on RB???...BTW...why don't you make the instant messaging free like stockhouse.com?
OK...
It's just that I frequent several boards & the WORST of them all was AGORACOM.COM...every second post got deleted by the censor...they are a real pain...BTW, if you want trouble, I can invite some of my psycho RB buds over here...lol...just kidding...good luck with this forum
there is nothing slow about IHUB;perhaps it is your puter or IP...just found this medium...looks good...only they should make the private messaging free like stockhouse.com. Otherwise, good idea to have a COB for each board...as long as valid negative posts don't get removed & it turns into "pumper clown" haven. Good luck all
TWISTER...
We all want to make money and your points re RB are well taken, however, there is nothing wrong with forging personal relationships along the way. There are some pretty astute investors on the RB CDIK board and until recently RB was an excellent source of exchanging viewpoints as well as kibbitzing. The two can co-exist IMHO. As for the bashers or those with ulterior motives...a very wise man recently reminded me that...
"For the believer, no proof is necessary
For the doubter, no proof is possible"
I will continue to monitor this thread and make my colleagues on RB aware of it (it was actually a colleague from RB who told me about this board). If we come across relevant or even irrelevant info re CDIK we will pass it on.
As a final FYI, STOCKHOUSE.COM also offers message boards and free inter-stockhouse.com emails called "INBOX" but the CDIK board has been dead since I stopped posting there. LOL.
Good luck with CDIK & your other investments.
TWISTER...
I know this will come a shock to you, but I post on RB along with PENNYWORLD. You seem to be very knowledgeable about CDIK and we would welcome you on that thread. What u think???
Does not CIBA/NVS have a "Device Division"? It would seem a natural for that division altho I do not know if we would be better off in the Pharmaceutical Division if for no other reasons than credibility and/or Medicare coverage. "Device" seems to infer something less than an approved medical procedure...only MHO.
Yes, it appears that NVS wants to corner the market for glaucoma treatments. First RESCULA. Then there was the deal with Wound Healing. Then the Presby deal. PNT would complement those other treatments & given that PNT is a non-invasive procedure, yet another "TWIST" to NVS product line. TWISTER, what would be your best guesstimate as to where PNT would fit in with NVS' other glaucoma treatments? ie Pharmaceuticals
sometimes I surprise even myself...lol...
actually...the study was to take 4 months with NVS allowed 30 days to compile the date & another 30 days top evaluate the results...and yes, safety is Job 1...wait...that's not NVS...lol...so we have the study commencing September 19th & concluding mid feb 2002...NVS are taking their time & will NOT execute a Distribution Agreement by the end of May 2002, IMHO. The Extension of the Option Agreement expires the end of May 2002. The best we can hope for, IMHO, is some sort of statement from NVS that they are a go with PNT and are commencing to finalize the terms of the Distribution Agreement.Time will tell.
actually...a PR should be out before the end of May as that is when the extension of the Option Agreement expires. Also, we are far away from PNT becoming a household word, IMHO. We must walk before we run. First we need the deal with NVS to be finalized. Then we need sales & profits. From what I understand, Presby negotiated with NVS about the same length of time, ie approx 2 years prior to Presby doing their deal with NVS, as CDIk has been discussing their deal with NVS. Don't forget, Presby's procedure is still an invasive procedure vs the non-invasive PNT.
No buyout in the cards, IMHO. First let's do the deal with NVS. Then let's get some sales & earnings. Then...down the road...we can negotiate from strength. Good luck all.
