Might as well take 'em off the table until the next push...?
Shows what the heck I know.... NADA. Messie... was that your 5k sell?
OK... wait for it...I predict that we'll see a 100 share buy at $.73 in less than 5 minutes! Egads, we really could use some good news to revive the trading on this stock!
I would suspect that MDOR is on an accrual accounting basis... so just being able to have the invoices sent out for goods delivered would make the P&L show sales and accounts receivable.... So I doubt that having the check(s) in hand would make any difference to the bottom line.
So... taking this into consideration the soonest we could possibly see positive reported revenue would be about the middle of February of 09. Oh well... more wait time.
It bothers me too that there is such low volume lately. It offers very little liquidity and creates huge SP swings. Does anyone know if MDOR is on a calendar year or fiscal year? I am wondering what the soonest expectation of reported positive cash flow might be. I know that when revenue is reported the SP will go up. And since we are days away from actual production... I am wondering how long it will take to start seeing checks from NSS for delivered product.
Another thing I realized recently is that the mulch market must be very much a seasonal market in most of the US. I mean how many people in Minnesota will be buying mulch when there's 18" of snow on the ground? I would expect some sales in Southern states year round, but a HUGE push in the spring. Thoughts?
Well... there ya have it! Just when I think I have some clue as to what's what! Thanks for the information. This forum is where those of us who are interested in this company succeeding will only benefit from sharing information. I am SO ready for production to begin!
When the first shares were traded there were 2500 available at .75, so I don't think so.... and IF a larger order was only partially filled... the price would have gone UP... not down.
I agree.... makes me wonder who/what is behind the first two trades this morning... I mean... Why buy 100 shares at all? Clearly not someone investing in their retirement. MMs playing games?
I just looked at the link you supplied. What I noticed is that the 70k short interest was as of Oct 15.... which is when we had that run up to $.85 Not surprised that someone would short it at the peak of a runup. Might explain part of the downward pressure after hitting that peak. It would seem that this interest has more or less been covered given the lack of recent volume.
From what I understand.. production is to begin this week. What I'd LOVE to see is a NR with pictures of our first shipment of finished product OUT of Magog!
Personally, I would prefer just about anything to a laugh as an answer. "Can't discuss it..." or "almost"..... "not yet"... but a laugh tells you absolutely nothing.
I hope that what will come to pass... is that management will underpromise and OVERdeliver. A strong pattern of that happening, would go a long way towards having exceptional credibility. If expectations are surpassed on a consistent basis... everyone would feel good about what is being promised... Investors would be more willing to invest, etc.
I know that production is close, and can't wait to see what effect this will have on the SP. I wonder how large the first shipment of product will be... what it's worth... and how often we can make shipments. I am presuming that as soon as this first line is up and running... we will be moving towards 3 shifts of operation? Anyone heard anything about that probability?
Sudden move? Hey... Only some 90K shares traded. Tight float and SOMEbody wanted some. I know that when I bought some recently.. the SP went up... it simply doesn't take much pressure to move this thing.
I believe that he simply didn't bother to keep his closing price current from a few days ago... as far as stating the closing price.
I agree with you entirely. My point was that I wasn't sure that the market would jump on this news and buy lots of shares and push the SP up. So far, today... the ask price has, in fact, dropped .04 and somebody felt the need to sell 730 shares at .60
Clearly this is good news (cat and bag). It is a public declaration that these two industry giants are closely affiliated with us, and will be at the very least giving us the benefit of their vast experience. The down side is.... that an "advisory board" is clearly not the same as the board of directors. And... we've had good news before that hasn't rocked our SP. I'm not dismissing this news by any means. I'm just skeptical as to how the market will react to it. In this economic climate, it's difficult to say WHAT would have a huge impact. I'll certainly be watching to see how this is received!
What cat... I must have also missed the bag. What are you talking about?
This, being the stock market... and MDOR NOT being on the bigger boards.... ANYthing is possible. I'd hate it and do NOT expect it... but some fearful seller(s) and/or MMs playing games COULD make us see a dip to the .50s, but I doubt it. On the other hand... I STILL think it's quite possible to see around $3 by the end of the year... with revenue being reported AND some sifnificant powder news or something else unexpected. Once we see money coming in and the promise of more... it's off to the races. $5 in 5 years is WAY low in my view. In 5 years... I venture to say that we could easily be over $20 if things work right.... but, that's all just my point of view, which with almost $3 will get you a gallon of gas.
Oooops... The growth is for a TWO year period, not 3. In order to determine the growth year over year, however, we will see what they did in 2005, 2006, AND 2007....
Thanks for the post, Surfman.
I looked up this award, and it does seem to be of significant merrit. The award is given to the top 100 companies in the Philadelphia area that have shown the most growth in the last 3 years. Since the award was only just presented a couple of days ago, I was unable to find out exactly what kind of growth they experienced 2005-2007.... which is the period of time they would have been using to evaluate them for the award. When this information is available online... If I find it first, I'll post it. If anyone else finds it first, please do the same. In looking at some of the other companies that won the award last year, I will say that some of the growth they have achieved is AMAZING... so it IS very likely that NSS is indeed quite capable of buying as much rubber chunks as we can make. Also... this is almost the end of 2008, so whatever we will see regarding their performance to get this award won't even take into consideration what they've done so far this year.
Believe me... I've been called Worse! I think I'd better just quit watching and waiting for this pot to boil... It's hard to walk away when I know how close we are to seeing this thang get up and run.
Here's an interesting link I just found. Was doing a google search with "stock bulletin board" as the search criteria... http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=stock+bulletin+board&start=10&sa=N
on the second page of results I found this link
http://www.free-press-release.com/news/200810/1224645249.html
Can't figure out who/how this got placed. Comments?
It IS great news... the only thing that could be better is actual shipping of product, but that time is drawing very near. My feeling is... that once we begin fulfilling the two existing contracts... I think we'll see a pretty quick ramp up to around $3 a share before the end of the year. I'm surprised that we're not seeing more upwards pressure right now as we are getting so close to production.
It's interesting to see how the mms seem to be looking for some cheap shares... Low .60 bid without much action, but the ask remains closer to .80 Clearly we are getting ready for liftoff. If I had another nickel sitting around I'd be buying more of what I fondly refer to as.... "magic door". Lol.
Good Lawwwd we needed a little voice of reason! Thanks for that Mr. Dumboner. Why don't we all just agree to disagree? There are some that feel Chad is a saint and some who don't like or trust him. Bottom line is that we ARE all in this together and I think we all agree that presently things look remarkably positive.
That being said... some of us are and will remain skeptical of possible future negative developments. Don't you think it might be a good idea to question things? Wouldn't you hate to be surprised by some little detail that means the individual shareholder gets the shaft? It's happened before... and it'll happen again... hopefully not in this particular investment.
OK... for my part I'll quit calling him Mr. Curt-Ass... and hopefully some of you will quit taking offense at the slightest questioning of his lordship's reign. Can we move on now... and see what information and insight we all can share?
After talking to Mr. Boux in Magog this morning, my belief in the success of this company is renewed. And... if it WERE a pump and dump... it wouldn't be the BIGGEST... I already was involved with THAT fiasco. Can you say JAWZ?
Doh~! Ask .68 Wish I have a few nickles left laying around. I know where I'd spend 'em.
Got to be a margin call or an attempt to shake confidence... The ask is still holding at .79, though which is good.
I'm entitled to my opinion... as are you. He simply rubs me the wrong way, and I don't trust him. He has quite a history of shady dealings and a lot of people feel the same way I do about him. If you think for one second that Chad is motivated by making any shareholders other than himself rich... think again.
On the other hand... I have an enormous amount of confidence in this company's future success. And... I would agree that the financing that has been arranged so far is rather extraordinary in its terms. I will simply remain skeptical. When the SP is $3 and above perhaps I'll put on my Dallas Cowboy's Cheerleader outfit and dance the Chadster Cha Cha right along with you.
Oh.... and I think you meant "you're" not "your".
Dish-Med... (OK, I make up weird names for people)
Just got off the phone with Monsieur Boux... VERY nice fellow. Much more approachable and affable than Mr Curt-ass.
Here's the skinny...as I understand it from Mr. Boux. If I misstate anything, that is my musunderstanding. I like this guy, and am thrilled that he is driving this thing.
Buffers have arrived and are being installed. They've had to do some reprogramming of the control units and have had some other minor snags installing this line. They will be doing testing this week and hope to begin actual production of Buffings next week. Yeha... An actual revenue stream up and running within 2 weeks, is what this looks like to me.
In the meantime they are also working on setting up the nuggets line which will probably be in production within a one month period of time.
Mr. Boux said that he'd just had a very good meeting with a shipping company... and have agreed to a minimum of 1000 shipments/yr with them. This arrangement includes return shipping of raw materials... So, they ship product out... and the shippers bring back raw material on their return trip.
Mr. Boux clearly is 110% commmitted to making this thing go. He has (like me) invested in the company.... and is exceptionally confident that it will be a big winner.
He expects that the powders will probably come to fruition within a 6 month time frame. He was emphatic about the magnitude of success that the arrangement and capabilities with SRI hold for explosive future growth. At present 95% of his energies are focused on getting the first two lines up and running.
I am feeling even more confident about this investment now... This guy will make it happen.
OK, I gotta ask... WHAT does horticulture have to do with anything the surfish one said?
Wow... Not a stellar day so far. Thinking that it is time for a significant NR.... VERY soon.
Sure.... buy why wait till the last minute or two of the day, when the ask was .79 for hours? And... this happens on almost a daily basis. Other than that... OF COURSE!
Which would suggest that there are most likely at least 2 different people playing this bail-out the SP at the close game...Or the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing.
Not MY "brushstroke".... but clearly an Earle Sheib move...
And.... I'm lookin' for that 100-250 share "painting" today too... Thinkin' a .79-.81 close...
Was kidding about the "frenzy" part... however it was nice to see some appreciation in SP. As usual, I agree with your assesment. That beng said, it wouldn't take much upwards buying pressure to put this over the $1 mark...
Egads... where'd the buying frenzy go?
So, between you and me yesterday... we bought over 40K shares...Almost half of the day's trading. Who's gonna keep the momo going today??? I think that we are going to be testing $1 very soon. Any really solid news should easily push us over the $1 mark... and keep us there. The more shares there are off the table, the faster that will happen. Good luck to us all....
Thanks for your post... (perhaps we'll have to institute a mutual admiration society). I appreciate your insights on recent trading activity and the part the MMs have been playing.
My opinion is that this stock is getting ready to pop. The number of those willing to part with shares is decreasing... and buyers are getting a whiff of what this stock is going to do.
Earlier today I was on the phone with my sister who is also a stockholder and I was telling her that my ETURD was quoting an ask of .85 and she was telling me how her AMERITURD realtime was giving her an ask of .96 (or was it .92?) Someone else on here was saying the same thing earlier... So, clearly there are some MMs NOT willing to part with shares very readily.
I can smell it. Big moves are on the way. I think this stock will be trading around $3 a share before the end of the year. That is my bold prediction..... It will move FAST as soon as we see some product being delivered... and some revenue on the way...
But, I like sour milk,so what do I know?
I managed to get 10,500 at .75 today and another 10k at .79. I'm almost done. Might do 5k more if the price is right... so, did fairly well just today!
