OK, big spender... Gotcha on my list.
OK, bubba.... you want a piece of my .50 bet? lol
Just knowing who is running this company now gives me a LOT more confidence than the previous admin. I'd be running for the hills except for that. And.. I am also confident that your Ch11 thingie is not even remotely likely.
I will be so bold as to bet you .50 that it will be at LEAST have seen .50 a share by next weds! (how bold can a guy get?)
I'm thinking that you MIGHT be a teeny bit over optimistic on that call! $2.75 is even a bit much! I'd be happey with $.50 short term.
And... I'll let you know what the weather will be tomorrow... as soon as it arrives.
Not being local.. nor a member of the geeksquad.... I'm not familiar with that particular radio personality.. nor that AM station. Is this program syndicated or is it just a local station? Exposure of ANY sort is great, but I hope that this is a program that is picked up nationally.
Anyone?
I don't have Lvl2, but all I have seen so far today is 5000 shares Sold. Must still be a lot of people that think this is going to go UP!
Yes... I agree about PR. What Tim Lee told me last night is that they have been pretty much keeping a lid on this because in the software industry... there is a HUGE fear of the competition getting wind of what you are up to. ANY lead that a competitor might have on new software coming to market gives them a leg up on contending with it.....
At least that is what I believe management has been telling Tim.... and I must admit that it makes sense to me. I REALLY hope to see this thing pop like a big Ole pimple!
That is a HUGE increase in one day... Hmmm got me thinking about it. About 25% for the twitter followers.... and more interest on this board too... I think we are going to see some significant movement in the next week. Think I'll put in a sell order for about 25% of what I hold... GTC for about $1.50 just for the heck of it. If the market goes nuts with this... stranger things have happened.
I'm still trying to figure out the whole twitter/tweet thang. I am one of those EXBX "followers" that you mentioned, but I have been for several days, so I am not one of the VERY recent ones from the last 2 days. Those who use Twitter certainly have SOME tech savvy.... it's an interesting beast and clearly takes some time to figure out the nuances of it. Oh heck... the people who created it haven't figured it out yet! Seems that some people using it are already making more money from it than the originators... But don't feel too bad for them, apparently they still have MOST of the $55 million in venture capital that they raised... JUST LIKE EXBX! (NOT)
I would be EXTREMELY surprised to not see a LOT by then. I feel very confident that there WILL be significant news put out either right before the teen dance (mixer) and/or right after. I think we will see some testimonials... at least we BETTER!
I didn't sell share 1. I fully agree with you about there being some huge movement in the next week or two. I don't hold the high school dance.... um "mixer" in quite as high esteem as most on here do. I think that the prospect of testimonials and possibly the news of some actual clients is of much more importance... I think that it's quite likely that we won't see much news until Monday or Tuesday... but when it does hit... I expect to see some big gains. I mean BIG, that is.
Sure seems like both the buyers AND sellers have fallen asleep now. Glad that I just decided to go away during the bloodletting... I would have wished that I had some money left over to have taken advantage of the fire sale.
Jack... what do you think of my financing theory? I mean... the company clearly has had a need to come up with some money for the next quarter and beyond. Wonder if that's already been addressed for the short term. Thoughts?
Here's a thought....
In the 10Q.... they made a private placement of shares for.... what was it.. .036 a share? That was a couple of months ago.... and they were claiming to have JUST enough money to make it through June at that point.
I feel rather confident that it is QUITE likely that insiders are loaning money to the company to keep it afloat. I would bet that they are getting warrants or something to reimburse them at some point in the future for around .06 a share....
Now... those who have been selling recently and filing those forms... SEEMED to be doing it in a very orderly way... it was one or two people's turn for a few days...then someone else... Given that we were only getting .036 a share in private placement... .06 looks a LOT better.
This is all just my conjecture... but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see this or something like it be the case. Then again... they could have all just needed money for a house/boat... whatever.
Interesting thought though... given that we have all been so upset by it all... would be nice to find out that they were actually in a win/win situation in the end.
MMs are having a field day. I think we'll recover some by the end of the day. This stock can EASILY double on a good day. I'm just going to sit this out.
yeah, but going to go away and not watch this carnage today
I did not say that Tim Lee was dismal. If you read that into my post... I did not mean to convey that thought. I WAS feeling dismal... not having seen exbx's typical 10Q. Tim was not surprised at the 10Q... to the extent that he hadn't even seen it yet. IF he had thought it would be anything but what it was, he probably would have read it already.
I just called Tim Lee to talk about it. He hasn't even seen the 10Q yet, but said that they're all pretty dismal. Personally, I haven't looked at older ones, but I most likely will pretty soon. The only thing that keeps me somewhat out of the deep end here is the fact that 3 guys with exceptional track records from BMC came aboard and seem to be committed to this company.
Things COULD get very interesting IF some really good news was made public. I don't have ANY idea if there IS any such news in the wings, but it certainly would be nice.
Tim didn't have any encouraging word on if/when to expect any further NRs. This guy is really treated very much like a mushroom... Kept in the dark and fed a lot of horse manure!
White knuckle time here.... guys. IF the software is as advertised... we SHOULD be fine... if not... oh well.
It means that the SP will most likely tank tomorrow... that they company is in dire need of operating capital... and that the future of the company is a lot less positive than any of us thought.
A reputable exchange is not a short term likelyhood. IF we can get the SP up over a couple of dollars and STAY there.... it could happen a lot quicker than otherwise.
I think you are confusing the ZaZa event with releasing the product for sale. Knowing that there WILL be revenues shortly is different from expecting it to be seen at an event, although the two are going to happen at more or less the same time. I expect them to actually make some sales shortly prior to the event, but that's just my opinion.
I totally disagree with you. A "mixer" is not exactly an article on the front page of the Wallstreet Journal. In fact.. it sounds more like a dance than anything. The more hype BEFORE the event... the greater the attendance. The greater the attendance... the more likely we are to see some results from it. I think the real meat will be in testimonials. Depending on WHO they are and WHAT they say... we COULD see a huge movement.
Another thought I was having about management and the current insider sales.... Management MIGHT want to let this trade as low as possible until the insiders who are selling are done... so that when the big gain comes.. it won't be held back nearly as much by insider selling. A thought, indeed.
Mr. Ray... I believe you mean "rapport". ( I know.. I'm kind of a spelling police turd)...
I appreciate your restraint with regard to not wanting to join the el camino squad. That being said, I firmly believe that management should hear from displeased stockholders. You don't HAVE to be rude, but being polite to the point of not voicing your displeasure won't necessarily help either. I suggest standing up and being heard. I'm about ready to get on the horn and make some calls myself, but I'm not sure who I'd like to talk to. I've spoken with Tim a couple of times, and he was quite pleasant, but I don't think he really has much clout with management. Anybody been calling anyone else at the company?
I betcha a dollar you WILL see more form 4s. Too much selling today to be anything but that. OK, I'll bet $2 in fact. Just LOOK at all the sells. We've seen this same pattern for the last couple/few weeks. Whose turn is it this time?
Houston, we've got a problem. Maybe several of them, in fact.
I'll see your HARUMPH... and raise you dozens of what transpired in the scene with the cowboys all eating around the campfire.
I must admit, trying as I might, to see some humor in it... Any of the references to baseball bats, el camino pranks, etc... ALL still remind me of the Klan mentality. Guys, I'm as upset as anyone on here about the greedy/not so bright things that some have done to hurt our investment. I just don't think any good can come of even a humorous referral to knocking some sense into anyone. Just my humble opinion, and I feel sure that any/all of that was intended in a humorous light. I just think that the only thing it can do is make people feel bad.... AND, if anything untoward was to happen to anyone on the list to be visited.... well... you just might find yourselves on the wrong end of a different list. Don't mean to be a pain... but I really think we'd all be better off Venting... yes, but perhaps in a more constructive way.
If you'd like a real treat... talk to Chad Curtis. A couple of conversations with him totally put me off this stock. Then I looked into his past relationships. That did even more damage.
When spite vs Money.. um.. especially with Greedy people.. Money will win, so I think it is ALL about money.
Couldn't agree more...
I'm confident that management reads this board... Wake up, guys, The investors who have been loyal and patient for quite some time are getting VERY restless. Management's lack of response to the insider selling has been very very discouraging. At the very least they could be putting out positive messages about the company and its future. Instead they seem to want to bury their heads in the sand.
I agree entirely. Whose job is it to further the public knowledge/awareness of EXBX? Isn't that a function of Investor Relations? My understanding is that Tim Lee.. who is doing Investor Relations lives/works... well over a thousand miles away from the company. I think that either Tim needs to kick it up a notch... or we need somebody else with greater experience/contacts to come in and make us known... to the investment world.
Web pages Need complete workover... twitter needs a boost.... Facebook.. all of it needs some life pumped into it.
Wow.. this board is DEAD. No word on financing... no word on ANY new contracts... And the share price is fading... I might buy back in around .50
Bri...
OTC stocks are like this. Generally, the people running them are scum. I thought this stock was going to be a little different. Foolish me. We the stockholders who actually BUY stock are pawns. Our belief in them is constantly abused, and they Shamelessly line their pockets with little to no regard for the shareholders that made this all possible.
I still think there is money to be made in this, but I will go away once I clear my objectives. They will make more money than they can ever spend... and we will NEVER get the same kind of return on our investment.
Yeah... I'm pissed too, but not terribly surprised. I'm SURE we'll see plenty more of this happening in the near future.
I'm pretty sure that's what they owe for the ZaZa.... just prebilled. (uhhh.. JOKE)
I don't think it would be a waste of time at all... As it is today.. it would take several people WEEKS to even get CLOSE to doing what the Exobox product has claimed to be able to do in minutes. Having found the leaks... I'm sure that some action can be taken to at least shut down the leak(s). To be protected so as NOT to have future leaks.... would certainly be nice too....
BUT....Just being ablt to find the leaks almost immediately... should shake up the IT security world... BIGtime.
Jack... for some reason I had the same belief... at least my impression is that they would have the second half of the product being released within a month or so after the mixer. I am pretty sure that I read that SOMEwhere... can't remember when or where, however. It would only make sense to offer the protection solution as soon as possible after the detection solution.
My impression/Guess is that it would take a HUGE offer at this point for management to consider a buyout. I'm thinking something at LEAST in the $20/share range. I seriously doubt that BMC COULD make such an offer. It is more likely that a Microsoft, on the other hand COULD. IF this "software in the wild" detector.... could find all the unauthorized Microsoft Office software being used... this ALONE would make it worth MORE than $20 a share to microsoft... forget all the other uses it would have for them.... Egads.. Think I'll go count my as yet unrealized kazillions again.
Do ya think it's likely that we'll see all the other mms fall on the ask... so that we'll be trading at PERTs ask of $2? OK, not so likely, but I can DREAM can't I?
I agree that it should be the next logical choice. Just showing companies/clients that their "stuff" is out there... is one heck of a motivation for them to line up for a solution to KEEP it from getting "out there"...
I also am in agreement that revenues from the first product are needed to fund further development...of the next offerings.
That being said... I feel rather confident that there will be SEVERAL takeover/merger offers in the coming months.... some more attractive than others, but ALL... so very flattering AND encouraging!
Bri... that last message was a little thin on content.
