Matt/Bob... if I were to set up a new board on iHUB am I permited to copy/paste in a small paragraph from a PR release that describes a companies produces/services IF I include the copyright notice at the bottom of the PR. They usually do such a nice job of explaining the company.

Churak... iHub Admin (Matt) has Matt in the alias so I assumed that it was one and the same. Thanks for suggestion.
Matt,
Yesterday I received a post on iHUB from a fellow posters but I was unable to reply because my reply hit the 10 post limit on iHub. So knowing that the poster was one of the fellows that I invited over from RB I jumped over to RB to reply to that person’s post. At that time I also suggested that that poster place a request with iHUB to increase that 10 post limit if he desired to do so. I made the suggestion because last week I remember reading information on iHUB that either you or Twister had a marketing plan in place to increase the post limit based on the number new posts on the board over a specified time frame. So I assumed that it was a done deal that you were going to eventually increase the limit. However….. since yesterday I have a new perspective on everything.
Since yesterday I have now like the post limit. Why? What happened to me? Because after I hit your 10 post limit I eventually decided to drill down on the services offered to ‘paid’ iHUB subscribers. Until I hit that limit I didn’t take the time to read through your marketing material. To my surprise for just $50/year iHUB offers:
- Unlimited posting on all boards
- Ability to send Private Messages
- Searching messages based on content
- Spell checking
- Viewing more than 10 messages at a time
- Public Message Archiving
- Ad-free viewing throughout the site
I know that you have not solicited opinions from iHUB posters, however I would like to propose the following:
1) Maintain the post limit at 10 or, even better, reduce it to 5 posts per day
2) Reduce your annual feel from $50/yr to $25/yr (or less)
Why? My reasoning is that I agree with Samuel that a low limit will help contain the board monopolizers, but I don't believe that it will keep out the riff raff. Dropping the limit to 5 might help. I also believe that most of the riff raff that go by many aliases are not inclined to send you a check or provide their VISA card to purchase a membership for fear that you or the law could easily audit and identify them. At the same time by lowering the annual fee from $50 to $25 (or less) it will make membership more attractive to a broader audience. 3 weeks ago before I started inviting the good guys/gals from RB I wouldn’t have spent the $50 because there just wasn’t enough activity on this board. Now that we have a head of steam it would be nice to keep it going. Possibly you could offer the proposal for a limited 90 days just to keep things moving. Just my 2 cents.
My only issue at the moment is apparently if I were to spend the $50 that I wouldn’t be able to utilize the ‘Private Messaging” unless the recipient had also spent $ to become a member. Is that true?
I apologize for the long post.
Thanks

Samuel... one other thing. While I'm not using a stop loss until after the NVS announcement, that stop loss is a MENTAL one ... meaning I am making adjustments on the fly and I will not trust a computer or broker driven stop loss. To that is too dangerous for a number of reasons.
Booger_head.. I've been working on it! So have some others.
Samuel.. you are so correct IMO on that stop loss. I foolishly did not have one in play 2 years. I have one now but it won't be activated until the PPS pops up. The math is a little convoluted though. But at least I have one going forward. I personally am not using a stop loss right now because my decision will be based on the content of the NVS PR. There is risk that the PPS could fall to .10 before NVS steps up to the plate and announces anything. So I don't want to be stopped out based on NO NEWS. Good luck to you.
WillieC_48... You heard the same thing I heard. I'm afraid, IMO, that CDIK is slightly at the mercy of NVS at this point. They want the deal bad so they don't want to rock the boat. That's just MO. I do plan on calling Rich again later this week, and I’ve emailed him separately over the weekend.
I also agree with an earlier post by Churak. If NVS goes by the book and history repeats itself NVS may not make an announcement either way until 1 day after the option agreement expires. Possibly not until next Monday, June 3. But I’m hopeful (wishful) that CDIK has persuaded NVS to not wait that long. Fingers crossed. I don’t want to see any more nervous types jump ship which will drive the PPS down even further. I no have enough disposable $ left to average down anymore.
Skunkmo.. and doesn't seeing Churak look refreshing! It's almost like the good old days!
Whole .. I had read on a RB/CDIK post this morning that someone believes that 100,000 shares were dumped at 9:30 am this morning. Does that mesh with your interpretation? My thinking is that it's not dumping .. rather it's just 'nerves', and some folks start losing them now that we are down to the wire. Just my opinion.
Many of the "recent" posters on RB are not too interested in talking about CDIK. However you may find value in some of those historical posts that I alluded to in my last post to you.
Why do we reply to those posters. Excellent question! I got suckered into replying to them a few weeks ago thinking that they were legit posters. I found that I was fooled by them. I now only accasionally reply when an issue is so obvious that I cannot help myself. But yes... you have it right. DO NOT REPLY to them. Just review those older posts where there is some useful information. I am not a veteran on investor boards so I have learned the hard way.
By the way, I have just invited a new RB/CDIK poster to investorshub.com that just got on RB/CDIK today. The new poster complained that there are no serious CDIK investors on RB. Possibly he/she will take my advice and show up over here. We need more good men and women over here!
Churak... IMO just a bunch of nervous sellers who don't have the stomach to hang in and wait for NVS to PR somethings. They most likely expected to hear something by now. However, lets just hope that it's not starting to dump because they got bad news from NVS. Wouldn't that be illegal... that is to seel their personal holdings based on insider information?
Churak,
Yes, the links that Twister provided are great! I wish I had those when I first started researching CDIK. I only suggested that Samuel preview some of the older CDIK posts because I found a lot of information was being posted (copy/pasted in) by CDIK posters back in 2000 and 2001. Obviously everything needs to validated per DD. I don't believe that IHUB has that kind of history with CDIK posters. I may be wrong. However going forward I'd prefer to use this board ... unless the 10 post/day limit creates a problem for me. Most likekly it won't.
Samuel, you are so right about RB/CDIK lately. It has really degraded. However you will find a lot of valuable information IMO in the OLDER posts that date back to 2001 and even 2000. The board was much cleaner back then.
I discovered CDIK a few years back when I was looking for a speculative penny stock to invest in. After studying over a dozen candidates I liked CDIK for a number of reason which should all be apparent to you by now (patent rights, profit potential, midway through the FDA approval process, good management IMO, etc.). I got into CDIK at 10 cents.
Samuel... I would encourage you to check out Raging Bull (RB). While this board offers a lot of valuable information, you will also find a whole lot of historical DD via the variety of posts that have occurred over there on CDIK over the previous 12 months. You raise some very good questions, most if not all of them have already been addressed via investors DD – many of which who have already posted on RB. Most of us have either validated the information from those posts, or have answered your very questions via our own independent DD. Bottom line - IMO we have a diamond in the rough here. Yes, management has exercised their legal right to sell shares from time to time, however IMO they have been professional and retrained, and overall I feel that this little penny is a winner UNLESS NVS pulls a surprise on us by walking away at the last minute. Go check out RB. Lot’s of DD in those historical posts. Most if not all of your questions will be answered there. I think that you will like what you see in those answers !! Of course you will want to validate what you read since it is not advisable to make buy/sell decisions based on what you read on any investors web site. I am on the road traveling most of this week so I won’t be able to exchange many posts. So good luck to you. We are all cheering for NVS to step up the plate and issue a PR if not by the end of May, but sometime in the first week of June.
My post on RB / CDIK ..... get ready for who knows what!
I would suggest that serious CDIK investors head on over to .... http://www.investorshub.com.... just go into OTCBB Stocks, input CDIK in the upper right hand corner and you are in. ONLY serious CDIK investors need APPLY! It's a free service unless you want some of the more advanced features. Why switch boards? Because IHUB is CLEAN and is kept clean! Best of luck to you with CDIK!
TWISTER.. are you ok with this? I will INVITE, but you may have your hands full cleaning house! Hey, it will liven up your life on IHUB!
So is Churak right you have veto power over any poster since you started the thread?
Just talked to IR at NVS and they acknowledged the existance of the option agreement (in not so many words), but they also said that NVS does not make a habit of setting false expectations to its shareholders by issuing PRs on potential 3rd party ventures. The person I talked to didn't appear to know anything specific about the CDIK relationship, however she said several times that 'it may be too early for a PR'. She also stated that since the total $ involved would most likely be SMALL relative to other NVS drug ventures that most likely the PR would come from CDIK and not NVS. I'm not sure that she really had a handle on this situation though. I don't have a high level of confidence in what was said.
Twister... did you create the IHUB/CDIK board, OR are you owner of this website? Just curious?
Churak.. I wonder if there is a way to invite the good guys from RB/CDIK over to IHUB without tipping off the bad guys. I would never want to be responsible for messing up this board. It's clean and I like it that way!
Churak... AMAZING! I've TOS'd him and HPOBET twice. I also have them on ignore. But they still LIVE! They must have an in with the RB staff. However, it is refreshing to see your old handle "Churak" here on IHUB!
Twister.. I'm afraid that CDIK is at the mercy of NVS on this one. I personally would be content with an NVS Letter of Intent, with some level of specifics regarding 'next steps'. I also want it to be an NVS PR and not a CDIK PR.
Twister... for what it's worth, Rich told me a couple of weeks ago that he was pushing NVS to make some kind of an announcement by month end because Rich stated to NVS that the CDIK shareholders 'need' to hear something.
Twister.. you are correct. It is hard to obtain/exchange information on RB lately. At least on CDIK. I think what has happened with CDIK is we are at the eve of the option expiration and it's drawn a lot of interest from crazies who are on the prowl or play. Not sure which. For over 2 years though I found RB very informative with respect to CDIK and with DD gathering and sharing. For some reason now that the option agreement is about to expire the CDIK board has gotten crazy. Part of it too is that many of us have already completed our DD on CDIK so we are in a wait and see mode. Good luck to you between now and next Friday!
Before inviting Twister to RB someone should provide him with a few tips on who to place on 'ignore'. Otherwise ... there goes the first impression!
Twister ... You don't know how nice it would be if all of the legitimate RB posters (meaning the ones that make meaningful contributions and enjoy each others company) would migrate over here to this board. RB has it's ups and downs when it comes to garbage. Although it does have a convenient IGNORE button which I have started using. The trick is to learn how to manage all that garbage - and I admit that I'm still on a learning curve with it. Overall though there is a great bunch of guys/gals on RB and we exchange a lot of good information and DD over RB. .
By the way, I also wanted to be sure that there was no misunderstanding regarding my last post. My reference to using email as another means of networking and sharing information (not to share insider information of course - I mean who has that!), it's just another tool to get around some of the garbage posting that occurs from time to time on RB. RB was kind enough to provide a facility for posters to add email ids to their profiles to share. However it's optional. So you have an alternative to dealing with unwanted posters, although I've learned that the IGNORE button is pretty effective too. Clock is ticking.. Per my recent conversation with Rich, he is hopeful and confident that there will be an NVS announcement by the end of the month.
Good luck to you.
Twister ... I agree with Churak. We would love to have you interject your insight and DD on RB. However, I certainly do understand your concern about 'garbage' on RB. For a good length of time RB/CDIK was pretty clean. Over the past 2 months the board has been experiencing that 'garbage' as you put it. Nevertheless RB has been a great place to exchange information and develop contacts in what I call the 'underground'. A medium to exchange information via email offline from RB. RB is just the 1st step. My only issue with IHUB is the apparently lack of interest / participants. At least with CDIK. In any case good luck to you .... and all signals are shouting that we will hear something from NVS by months end. As Churak pointed out I too doubt that we will see a signed, sealed and delivered deal by May 31, but I'm very optimistic that NVS will step up to the plate and make note their intentions before the end of the month.
Thanks Twister. I just need to assess whether the information shared is worth the $ spent on the subscription. I certainly know what you mean about filtering through garbage on boards such as RB.
Twister.. what are your thoughts about Raging Bull. There are a lot of posters on CDIK there too. I own a good chunk of shares in CDIK myself and I thought I'd take a look at this board. Any pros/cons of this board over Raging Bull IYO?
