((((number of settlements)/# of ex employees that sued))/(% change in SP over last year)-((number of shareholder meetings+hints about share buyback))*(number of Barnhill's cronies on the board).
Seriously, person mark for you. You're killing it today.
performance bonus. I actually started to choke on the tuna sandwich I was eating when I read that. I honestly thought it was a joke by the person who brought it to my attention. Performance bonus. hahahhaa
And bob, I'll reply to the email, it is well thought out. But regarding investors vs. traders. NO investor, I repeat, NO investor should EVER..EVER take a 66% drop in SP lightly. That is indicative of something SERIOUSLY amiss with the company.
hahahahahahaha
10M shares you mean, right? Remember HDVY rarely pays in cash.
I couldn't make this stuff up. Seriously. LOL 100K performance bonus. hahahhahahahaha I get it now! Barnhill is short on HDVY! Of course he's getting a performance bonus, the pps is 1/3 of where it was several months ago! He's raking in the cash off his short position. Performance bonuses for all!
And his informed posts have sounded great, been well worded, and were very encouraging. Unfortunately they were wrong. He can post a novel for all I care, and it doesn't change the fact that the management of this company is absolutely railing the share holders. At the rate this company is going they could botch up marketing a cure for AIDS for cryin out loud. So continue to worship zenos, as the PPS continues to go in the opposite direction his posts indicate that it should. Keep holding while this hits single digits.
This company is holding a supposedly great diagnostic technology hostage.
They're not going to. They're going to keep printing shares, and falling back on the whole 'oh so and so got options at x price so clearly this is going back up' meanwhile they'll keep printing shares for their cronies, and eventually probably raise the A/S so they can continue to print.
This is the type of point I'm trying to make; I suggested when this was around .20 that some of the longs here may want to sell as this was headed to the gutter. I was summarily bashed. Well, here we are about 40% below that point now. Wouldn't tryn, bob, etc. have been better off selling their holdings at that point, and then if they believed in the company, buying back in when this finally hits single digits again?
This is the point SS was trying to make; he's been saying for years that the company would never put out anything solid. Somehow he's the villain here though, somehow I'm the villain here. Yet let's say tryn had said "hey wait...they haven't put out anything, and are printing shares like it's going out of style" and sold around .25 even, how much better off would he (and anyone else that did this) have been right now?
The stock price is now below .14, the company continues to issue shares to pay off people, they have no source of income, the tests haven't come out...Please explain how zenos/ltd has been closer to the truth than sunspotter? The stock is now trading at about 40% of what it was several months ago when it was over .30. How is Sunspotter the bad guy in all this?
Regardless, the posts of many people here are just conjecture. Who cares what Zenos has to say? Everything they've come out with has been wrong. Then after they're wrong they come up with an excuse for why they were wrong, and update their predictions accordingly. Those predictions then turn out to be wrong. So now it's the FDA delaying this....and when it turns out it's not, then it'll be something else that was causing it. Yet people will still listen to Zenos because they're saying something nice about their investment. Sunspotter was right about how he's the bad guy...despite the fact his statements are closer to reality.
I didn't mean them specifically; it seems like there have been a LOT of releases lately from companies offering similar services to ours. It's time to 'pee or get off the pot' for HDVY
Another banner day here. Back below .14 lol
well like they said, it would be prohibitively expensive at this point to go after any of those companies. Plus there's no guarantee they'd win anyway.
exactly. The fact that all these companies are not just catching up to HDVY, but passing it with similar technologies is NOT a good sign.
That's a good point actually. I mean, the patents are virtually useless at this point anyway. Seems like every couple weeks other companies are putting out their tests/products using different technology to get the same results. The lollygagging here has really wasted what could have been a great window of time where the company could've gotten their product established. Now instead of being 1st to market they'll probably be 6th or 7th and known more as a late-to-the-game off-brand than anything else.
edit: It's also time for everyone to admit that the share-holders here are an afterthought to company management. You can argue back and forth about if this is a good thing or not. Some would hold that they should focus on putting out their product, and not caring about share-holders is not all that bad. I would argue that if this is the case, where's the product? Regardless it's clear we're an afterthought and that this company continues to put out press releases talking about 'in the near future'. Some people have been here 7 years. SEVEN years. That's a dog's age in the biotech field.
Ya know, maybe it's Quest, Abt., or HDVY, or a combination of all 3 of them. But whatever it is, their foot dragging has caused them to piss away what could have been such an exclusive project. By the time they release anything (if they do, which I doubt) there's going to be several dozen competing tests, and their technology will be pedestrian. Potentially great technology; awful management.
I think both of them will go the way of Pfizer and 7 years from now a new group of bag holders will be talking about how any month company XYZ will be validating HDVY'S tests for diagnosing cancer of the [random body part that murders you eventually]. Someone will come along and point out that this has happened before with Pfizer, Abt., & Quest. They'll be called a basher. They'll take their money elsewhere and maybe succeed with it, maybe not. The heroes of the board will hold this down to single digits again and brag about how they're longs. They won't make a cent.
That's psychology. It's sort of like groupthink. You get a bunch of people together who convince themselves of one point of view and anyone outside the group is the bad guy. People will continue to come up with reasons why they're right. That's the key point; not pay attention to reality, but to reasons why they're right. New people will be welcomed into the in-group even as they're losing money, and those that observe reality are the evil ones
wait...Terry's writing poems to you now too :( I thought that was just me that he ripped on for expecting a company to treat its' investors with some respect and actually give some sort of ROI.
LOL a child born then would be in kindergarten now
Yes; I like the technology's potential. But I feel that the management of this company are clowns that dump on investors at any chance, and bankroll their cronies by selling shares and further slaughtering our value. Which is a shame, because the longer this drags out the more people that are deprived of the potentially life-saving benefits of this technology.
yeah. Fabulous signing. I'm glad they keep loading up the board with cronies. What with all the revenue they have pouring in they need more oversight. Oh wait, the only revenue stream this company has is from selling shares.
Wow...volume hit a brick wall. Maybe someone taking a new position?
I'd welcome that, but Quirk is getting paid by the same share-printing machine as Barnhill, so that will never happen. Unless Quirk sees a way to finagle a solid buyout that would pay him more. In which case I say go for it! I'd take .30 for my shares at this point just to get this one off my books
got in before, and I stay here so that anyone reading this board can realize that this is far from a sure thing. If the facts change and the company produces something, I'll acknowledge and reevaluate my opinion of the company.
I'd be skeptical about any share buyback scheme. They're diluting like crazy to 'pay for operational expenses'. So who knows where the millions of dollars they supposedly sitting on is going/has gone. If they were going to do a buyback why not just buy back shares, why dilute this much?
But yeah, under normal circumstances I'd agree with you
Looks like a red Christmas here in HDVY land, and a 50% drop over the last few months. Great job HDVY! Thanks!
They have cash on hand already. Remember? Miiiiiiiiiiiiilllions of dollars supposedly. Yet they are still issuing shares to cover business expenses. If they were strapped for cash then hey, print a few million shares to keep the company afloat. But everyone talks about how great this company is going to be, and how great they are to their share holders....meanwhile the dr. is playing count dracula on the gross, and they're issuing shares to pay bills despite having millions in the bank.
wow a share holders meeting after months of silence...followed by months of silence.
Then where are the results. And if this company is heading to such great heights why does the doctor have to bleed % off the top of the GROSS. Why can't he wait til 'the near future' when we'll all be rich?
Man this is just depressing. Objectively though there's really no reason this SHOULD be going up. Dilution is occurring, there's no news, why on Earth would there be any appreciation here?
Sunspotter goes quite deep with his analysis. Not sure why you think it's lunacy. I mean the Dr skimming % off the gross is enough to drive most people away. The delays, share dumping, lack of communication, all that makes the company look sketchy. You and everyone else can jump down my throat, whine til they remove me as Moderator (ironic since I wasn't the one removing posts), and generally bash people who disagree with you. But in the end the facts I just listed that look specious ARE facts.
I was under the impression that the company was using the excuse that Quest was doing extra prep so that the test wouldn't be pulled after its release
they always say to expect something in the near future, but we never do.
the previous moderator didn't actually delete any conversations, that was IHUB admin. The only ones the previous administrator deleted were completely off topic, and usually tangential personal attacks.
I hadn't actually thought of that; I would think that the urine test, if it ever materializes would be of such an impact and potential cash cow that they wouldn't delay it.
It's been quite some time since we heard anything about that partnership. As bad as this company is at communicating with share holders, they DO put out PRs whenever they're involved in something.
I'll let this post stay. I stand by my statement. The company is dumping more shares. They are paying their associates in shares at the shareholder's expense, despite supposedly having millions of dollars on hand. They are absolutely hemorrhaging shares despite trying to portray themselves as a legitimate investment opportunity. When investing you can't just look at the bright side (patents, deals with Quest & Abbott, etc. You also have to look at the darker side, and right now as the company is running, they are going to be running right up to that 300M A/S.
What exposes your argument is that you are saying the discourse has changed. I haven't changed it, Sunspotter hasn't. As I've said, neither of us has deleted a single on-topic post. Feel free to post whatever you want ON TOPIC, and I will do the same, as will Sunspotter, as will whomever posts here. But don't expect everyone to agree with you.
they're afraid their posts will be deleted, despite the fact I've stated repeatedly that nothing on-topic has been deleted by myself, IHUB admins, or Sunspotter even. Internet message boards have a habit of turning rational people into dramatic loons.
