Thanks for the heads up, I think I will create an account since its free. I have a feeling there might be some pieces of info. we might be able to get from these guys pages just from the messages that they leave each other and the blogs that some of them write.
I didn't really know anything about myspace until I started reading this forum and the link on the AOW website. It is actully pretty helpful for this kind of investment, we can read up on the guys competing in these AOW events and find out what events they have coming up directly from them, no middle man essentially.
I tried to find any sort of info on some of the fighters my-space pages in blogs etc. but had no luck. First of all I am not a my-space member, I don't have an account and I think that limits capabilites on what you can read about the people etc, because it kept asking me to sign in. Another problem I ran into was that alot of the guys have pages but have them set to private so I couldn't read anything. For any my-space guru's out there, is there any way to get around this? Last problem I ran into is that alot of these guys have common last names, so you type in their names and 50 pages come up, so it makes it kind of hard to find them. The only thing I found regarding AOW was a comment from the "Art of War" on this guys page just wishing him luck and welcoming him to AOW. Scroll down a little to the comments section on the right side, it is the first one.
Alot of theses mma guys have myspace pages and are friends it seems, its like a brotherhood of sorts.

Nick Agellar is also confirmed for the gi's v pro's event in April. here is his myspace page, maybe we can find something here too.

Yeah I did notice that, I think he was talking about this guy.

His blog might reveal some more info., so I am going to check it out.
It looks like the Strikeforce/NBC mma show is going to air at 1:00 am est on Saturday night. That is 2 hours AFTER the rumored airing of the FSN/AOW deal. Sorry if this was already posted, I was out all day yesterday and need to catch up.

(Important part)
The program will likely air on late Saturday nights (early Sunday mornings) either immediately after or soon after the hit NBC series, "Saturday Night Live."

Its gunna be a great show on April 19th. Brian Geraghty will not be on that card. His agent is working on a deal for a later show with AoW in May or June. The only way to see it live is to be at the show. But, I have some exciting news. The GI's vs. Joes entire series will run this spring on Fox National TV for 8 weeks, Saturday nights at 11pm. Ron's fight will be the main event for the first episode, and Nick's fight will most likely be the main or co-main for the second episode.
Wow we were actually #1, thanks for sharing. I didn't even know the breakout board existed, I really need to look around at all the features on this site more often.
Thank you EZ and FJ for the pictures. The building actually looks alot nicer than what I had envisioned in my head from EZ's description. Thanks again.
ot- Happy "Ides of March" everyone!

Dave, I like your line of thinking, I think you you might be onto something here. How about the possibilty of having office space in Texas and Vegas? It sure would be convenient to have shop all set up in Vegas, especially if the following from the latest PR is not just smoke up our a$$es...
SUN is planning on producing a number of MMA Events in Nevada this year and looks forward to bringing its brand of exciting and high energy MMA to the thousands of fans growing across the country and producing live events in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Reno and Laughlin, NV.
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/080201/0355916.html
If I remeber correctly the IFO only had like 4-5 events, and they were all in Vegas. We know Harrah's and Winstar are on board, now hopefully some of the casinos like the one you posted the link for will be future AOW event sites as well (and of course lets not forget about the new 5 Billion dollar complex opeing in 2010).
I haven't looked into it further but I doubt the IFO had a TV deal finalized mainly because they weren't around that long. When I saw that article I just thought maybe something was in the works or at least being discussed, and SUN saw an opportunity there. Pure speculation though...
I didn't look a whole into IFO's history all that much until FJ brought up this PR again, so I went looking and found this. I'm not sure if this ever occurred or if it is even relevant anymore (April 07) but if something was in the works maybe that's why we went after them. The only important part is the last paragraph. Any thoughts?

Boxing Ref Richard Steele Starts MMA Promotion Recommend this page Printable version
Las Vegas, Nevada – Hall of Fame Boxing Referee Richard Steele, who recently retired as arguably boxing’s greatest referee, will now move from the ring to the cage with the launch of his new Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotional venture, Steele Cage Promotions, LLC (www.steelecage.com). Steele Cage will look to sign young and exciting fighters and build its own champions through the newly formed sanctioning body, International Fighting Organization (IFO). Steele has formed the venture with Las Vegas businessmen Steve Oshins and Ed Swindle.
Steele Cage’s first event, Fireworks in the Cage, will be held at The Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 7, 2007, and will feature 10 exciting fights. Steele Cage has signed some of MMA’s biggest names for their first show, including Marvin “The Beastman” Eastman (13-7-1) and David “The Crow” Loiseau (14-7). Tickets can be purchased online at www.orleansarena.com or by calling the Orleans Arena at 702-284-7777 or 888-234-2334. Ticket prices range from $45.00 to $175.00.
The Beastman, with a wrestling and Muay Thai background, is no stranger to MMA fans around the world as he has fought against some of the best in the business including Rich Franklin, Vitor Belfort, Travis Lutter and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson whom Eastman beat back in 2000. His last fight came in February with a rematch loss to Jackson in Las Vegas. The Beastman will be fighting at 185lbs for the IFO’s Middleweight Championship Belt against an opponent who will be announced at a later date. Although he made his name as a Light Heavyweight, he looks to prove the doubters wrong that question whether he can maintain the strength at his new weight.
The Crow is also a household name in MMA circles and is recognized for his Tae Kwon Do and devastating elbow strikes. He has had victories over well known fighters such as Evan Tanner, Charles McCarthy and Gideon Ray, and even his losses have been to well-known fighters such as Rich Franklin to whom The Crow lost by decision in a five round battle for the UFC middleweight title in 2006. He will fight Chilo Gonzalez (9-7) from Colorado at 185lbs.
In the semi-main event and fighting for the IFO’s Featherweight 145lb title, is Brandon Shelton (14-1). Shelton hails from Oklahoma and like many from this state, he made his mark in wrestling as a 5X freestyle and Greco-Roman Wrestling High School All-American with an amazing overall record of 197-3. He has a unique ability to score traditional wrestling takedowns or execute spectacular throws which can be attributed to his black belt in judo. Shelton will fight against tough Canadian Stephane Vigneault (9-4). Vigneault is a former Canadian Super Lightweight Champion and is ranked amongst the top 5 Canadians in his weight class. This will be Vigneault’s U.S. debut as he hopes to build a following in the states.
Another Oklahoman ready to blast off at “Fireworks in the Cage” is Zac “Red Devil” George (11-1) at 155lbs. Like Shelton, he is a strong wrestler and has been trained in Jujitsu and Kickboxing where he holds various titles. He was the Oklahoma State USA Boxing Champion and already holds two professional MMA titles. Look for George to be a future IFO Champion, however he will first have to get by veteran Canadian Thierry Quenneville (10-5). Country and team pride will definitely be at stake as Quenneville and Vigneault, both Canadians representing TRISTAR Gym, go up against Shelton and George from the U.S. and both fighting for C3Fights in Oklahoma.
Another fighter looking to steal the spotlight on this incredible card is one more Oklahoman, Joey Gorzynski (5-0). Although his opponent is still in the works, he has signed a multi-fight deal with Steele Cage and looks to be a future champion in the 170lb division. The card will also feature the following Las Vegas talent: Lee Gibson (9-2), Chris Kennedy (3-3), Kelly Gray (1-0) and Jake Chavez and David Graham, fighting each other in their pro debut.
“Steele Cage is looking to put on the most exciting and competitive fights in MMA with each fight evenly matched”, stated Steele. Steele also added, “Not only do we have some of the biggest names in MMA with “The Crow” and “The Beastman” in our first show, but you will see some great young talent that we are looking to develop that will become future IFO Champions”.
Also, Steele Cage will soon be announcing a major TV deal that will allow MMA fans around the country to see the show from the comfort of their home. Stay tuned for details.
Ah the light comes on! MMA sanctioning body, Harrah's casinos in Vegas and the new 5 billion dollar facility. It's all coming together.
Wow it looks like I've got some catching up to do.
FJ, I read that PR again, what are you thinking? I'm still missing what you're trying to point out.
Motherto6, that's a nice find. If we are looking for help, then we are EXPANDING!
EZ, I would appreciate it if you could take a few pictures of the new building so we could all get a peek. Thanks!
chucka, you gave me an idea, lets start a SSPE PR release date poll, closest to the date gets a free Sports One Radion donated by jacktrades from his own personal collection.
Thanks chucka, lets hope today is a little more exciting than yesterday.
PR maybe today?
Chucka you lost me there my friend?
Edwards thanks for posting. The ring announcer website was posted earlier, BUT, it didn't have a link on his homepage to his next AOW event. I guess this is confirmation that he will be the MC for the Gi's vs Pro's tour which was rumored earlier. I believe he is also the guy that said the tour would be seen on FSN, lets hope that rumor gets confirmed next.
I agree with you EZ, we are definately in a growth stage. I sure wish we could get a look at the 2007 year end financials to see how we ended the year.
IMO, the GI's vs Pro's tour is a very strategic niche market product that should do very well (especially if seen on FSN), but don't forget we still have Pedro Rizzo locked up for 3 more fights. Is it possible that SUN could put on 8-11 events this year?
I'm lmao here at your rant, I feel your frustration man, we need to hear something soon, I mean we already know AOW5 and AOW 6 are a go, why not PR that?
You read my mind about the Sports One Radio, see my previous post.
Dude you kill me with the sports one radios, I have never purchased one but have had many tossed at me for ridiculous posts! But you did get me thinking about them with all this talk of where all of our revenue is coming from. What if I did want to buy one, how much do they cost? can I buy one online? I make fun of these damn things all of the time and I don't know anything about them (although I think I now know what they look like if that is it in the first link below). I am going to do some more research tomorrow when I'm less tired to see what I can find, but I did re-read this PR and a few of things jumped out at me which I bolded. Remember the NFL purchased 5,000 units according to the PR, if these things cost $20-$40 each, that would be somewhere from $100,000 to $200,000 in revenue. I also noticed that the Sports Radio Event Network that SUN purchased origially, was based in Nevada (more ties to Vegas?) I need to do more research on these things I'll post if I find anything.

FJ, very nice work, I like the roadmap layout. Should be pretty helpful for any new investors.
I didn't want to steal your work from you, my bad! If I do it again break out the sports one radios and start tossing! Thanks for the mapquest link too, I didn't realize Tunica was so close to Memphis, 40 miles is nothing.
Dear Santa CJ, where the F is our PR???
Sorry, no PM for me, maybe after SSPE takes off I'll pay for the premium membership. This is what we're all waiting to hear about "officially" just in case you missed it.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=27282145
Chucka, here is why I posted that link (I cannot take credit for this, some of the others here pointed it out to me, but I thought it was worth a re-post)
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=27516283
Chucka welcome to the forum! In my biased opinion you are getting in at just the right time, as we hope to have updates on a lot of things going on behind the scenes shortly. If these updates are what we all think they are, then the pps we're at now will be a bargain in the near future.
After thinking about this while trying to sleep last night, I remembered that I did see the FOX wanting to purchase UFC rumors on here before, so I had to double check this morning. My apologies to jacktrades for bringing us this article a few days ago and forgetting that I read it. I was probably laughing at the "Dear santa" part and forgot what I read. Just wanted to give credit where it was due.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=27381808
I think I might go check out an AOW event here when it opens..
http://www.ultimatesportsresort.com/renderings.html
Wow that complex looks pretty impressive, if AOW is really going to be the first MMA venue there then CJ and the boys must have some serious connections out in Vegas. Hopefully that show will be aired live on FSN!
Maybe you could get FJ to add this complex to the "inferred known relationships" list in the i-box.
I think this should be posted again just in case anyone missed it.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=27516283
Ken, any chance you can get a picture of that board? If so, make sure you get a nice close up of the FSN logo so FJ can post it in the I-box and jacktrades will be able to use it as the wallpaper on his pc (lol).
Advertisement in Memphis, TN for a show in Tunica, Miss.? I'm no geography buff, do you have any idea how far apart mileage wise those 2 cities are?
Thanks
Thanks dog, you're always hooking a brother up with info.
I guess we can put this on the back burner for another year and a half then eh?
I haven't seen this article posted here yet regarding the CBS/EliteXC deal but a couple things jumped out at me so I figured I would share. I can't help but think about the posiibilties for SUN after reading this.
http://www.mmapayout.com/2008/02/inside-exc-cbs-deal.html
Here are the important parts.
MMAPayout.com has also learned the rumored financial terms of the agreement. The deal is believed to be a straight time buy, meaning EXC would receive no live rights fees. Pro Elite is already shopping for a title sponsor of the first show at $500,000, plus a commitment to buy a minimum of eight commercial spots from CBS, and a $100,000 investment in Pro Elite
Multiple sources have told MMAPayout.com that FOX is believed to have interest in MMA with rumors suggesting that the network even went so far as to make a bid on the entire company during recent negotiations with the UFC. UFC President Dana White alluded to an unidentified network bidder in an interview with Steve Cofield earlier this month.
Thanks for posting, any idea when this is set to open (if it isn't open already)? This is the first I've heard of this.
Thanks for the links, looks like you put some time in DD'ing CJ, thanks for posting your work.
Regarding the lawsuit, anyone notice that the plaintiff's complaint was for an inability to cash in their debentures in October and November of 2001 and the complaint was filed July 3, 2006??? Not sure why they would file a complaint so many years later.
My cliffnotes version is that somebody(s) got screwed out of some cash and they aren't happy about it. Maybe a partnership/friendhip gone sour, who knows.
I haven't watched frgy but I'll put it on my watch list tomorrow. Just what I need, another stock I'm watching go up while all the ones I own go down.
Oh btw, its rumored that SUN may have a deal in place with a certain network to air the GI's vs Pro's tour but I haven't heard anything about it, do you have any idea which network it is???
mto6, I understand your frustration and am tired of waiting for an update as well. Not only does the website suck (that ones for jacktrades) but our PR department is not very good either. However, I would like to address this part of your post;
"please DO SOMETHING to prove to your fans and investing public that you exist and are indeed moving forward in legitimate, current business dealings"
In the past month and a half or so, SUN has purchased the assets of another organization and set up 2 new AOW events. IMO, this proves they are indeed moving forward executing a businees plan. I won't even mention a possible deal with Fox Sports Net because nothing is in stone yet. I think our biggest problem right now is that supply outweighs demand, but that could all change with the right PR!
Patience will be rewarded (I hope)!!!
Just having a little fun while we wait! I hope you're right about this being the calm before the storm.
I've been watching SIBE today too and the Fedor news doesn't seem to be affecting them like you said, but maybe the news isn't quite out yet. Watching SIBE is like watching, well, SSPE.
Here's some pics from past AOW events from the ring announcer Chris Geraghty's website. Not too much to get excited about just ran across them so I figured I would share. 2 things to mention, the picture with "Jim" Epstein is Buckeye Epstein I think? If thats him he looks alot different than in the picture in the IBOX.
2. The picture with the 3 guys labeled "AOW Crew" says one of the guys names is Ricco. Is that Ricco Rodriguez? Maybe someone who knows what he looks like can clarify it.
http://www.theringannouncer.com/gallery/gallerylist.aspx?CategoryID=5
Fedor done with M-1 already? That was quick.
If you listened to that No Holds Barred interview with CJ Comu he admitted SUN had interest in Fedor before he signed with M-1, (speculation time) I wonder if CJ would go after him again? My guess is he'll sign with the UFC, but I'll hold out hope until I hear otherwise.
On a side note, keep an eye on SIBE tomorrow to see how this affects them.
