I recieved an email this morning stating that my dividend is waiting at Western Union. To be honest, I am shocked!
CM
I also recieved an email today stating my dividend is at Western Union. To be honest, I am shocked!
CM
That's better than nothing at all from Russia, isn't it?
I sent the requested information and so far no dividend or email back.
CM
Sweet boat DOS, Add a pic of it to you signature.
CM
Thoughtful and informative post DOS! I sent them the same information you did haven’t received a divi yet either. My shares are held in a Scottrade account.
CM
How many reams of paper would it take to copy, say 500,000 share certificates? How long do you think it would take to fax those copies?
What Aurus is asking for is impossible to complete. Is this even legal?
CM
I can't speak for Obi, but I was swing trading AURC long before I even knew I-Hub existed.
I'm glad too, because I could have a lot more cash tied up in the same qty of shares had I been mis-led by some posters here. I was making money on AURC when I was swing trading it.
CM
Maybe the bidder has to save .50 for a cup of coffee...
Really mahi mahi man? The PR is a forward looking statement. After they anounce the merger has been completed it will be an "actual" merger. Until then it is a "possible" merger.
I won't bother to bring up other forward looking statements which never came to fruition, but there have been a few.
CM
THANK YOU! Finally the voice (or writings) of reason! Merger is only being planned, not agreed upon. I would't spend the money yet...
CM
Ok last one here.
If the BOD holds the majority of legal voting shares and not enough NSS voted to cause an overvote, the BODs votes are the only ones that matter. In this scenario The BOD gets what they want and would not nullify the vote.
If the BOD doesn't hold the majority of legal votes and somehow the NSS have the majority of votes AND there is no overvote. In this scenario the BOD deserves what naturally follows.
CM
BTW the second scenario is such a long shot that it has probably never happened. And this Vote was a vote to sell the company which would have exposed the creators of the NSS.
The dog I have in this fight is a pekingese, but you can still vote by proxy. And if there still isn't enough votes for an overvote, why would anyone care if NSS even exist? There certainly wouldn't be enough NSS votes to change the course of events (no overvote).
I'm done on this subject now. I was only trying to add clarity to someone elses misinformation.
CM
Probably no paper used these days. We should look at the silicon industry. Without them there would be no digital media. They are to blame for all of this!
An overvote is obvious evidence of illegal naked shorting and the vote would be nullified. Then steps would need to be taken to eliminate the air shares.
Knowing who voted the air share in not important. Prosecuting the creater of the air share is a different subject.
CM
Correct, I should have left the word "Naked" out of the highlighted sentence. I was trying to cover both scenarios.
Maybe you researched too much, I am not wrong on this subject.
If you were correct I could own any GE just by creating air shares and taking control as the major holder.
Only the buyer of the shorted share, the holder of record, controls the voting rights. The owner of the margin account which loaned out the shares will have agreed in advance to relinquish voting rights to Naked Short Shares while they are shorted. Victims of Naked Shorting attacks sometimes report that more votes were cast than the number of shares issued by the company, in which case there is "more work" to be done. A vote was never taken in our case so it is only speculation that NSS (Air Shares) would have voted.
The "more work" may well be a dividend to try and expose the Air Shares.
CM
Interesting post except that "air shares" have no voting rights. Therefore, the company cannot be out voted by "air shares".
CM
Sweet reply! I'd give you a mark for this one, but I don't know how.
Which Wednesday? A Wednesday this year still?
"We didn't make a profit last year, without a working entity.
So it would seem someone is working."
"WE" didn't make didn't profit last year. Not off AURC anyway.
CM
I know I for one believe everything 2C said.
CM
Buddy let you join his Yahoo Aurus group? I don't know why, but somehow that surprises me.
CM
Thanks DOS
DOS, I have sent letters and email to a few other government offices in Russia with no response. I will gladly contact the head of the Magadan Province Dept of Natural Resources and post any reply. If you have contact information please post it or send it to m.juetter@yahoo.com.
Crazy
I think that this is saying that 2C tried 2create a new company by claiming that Aurus's Magadan mining assets belonged to his own company. He would have listed the new company on the exchange and pulled the pump and dump scam.
He apparently owed $20000 to the investment company Finam for their services to this end, but did not pay when it was discovered that his company didn't own the claimed assets (fraud).
He then requested that Dovgan and Chegenev use AURC stock for a pump and dump, since he owned 10,000,000 shares of AURC.
When they refused to perpetrate the fraud 2C started taking revenge by using the internet to destroy the investor’s confidence in the AURC stock.
This is my understanding of this letter and not necessarily fact or the intended meaning of the letter.
I would also point out that if I owned 10,000,000 shares and intended to destroy the investor’s confidence, first I would sell my shares, and then short the @#$% out of it before driving the price down.
CM
Mushroomking,
Since the Eleana Kalinina on your link has been exposed as a scam, don't you think that she would make up a different alias if she was trying a new scam? It would be as simple as picking a name. I hope you were asking in jest. (or maybe you should lay off the mushrooms)
CM
DOS, is the email address(s) that you are using posted on any web sites or PRs? associated with Aurus? Just a yes or no answer will do. I am not asking for the email address.
Thanks,
CM
No but the reporting requirements you refered to with the link you posted only apply to otcbb stocks.
CM
AURC is not (and never was) on the OTC Bulletin Board.
CM
DOS, your post sums it up! A company is not a scam just because it fails to meet its objectives. Virtually every statement made by Aurus in their PRs was a forward looking statement. Therefore, they weren’t lies.
One can chronologically chart the share price and the number of posts/day claiming Aurus is a scam and see the PPS drops as the posts increase. At some point the company cannot raise the required funds to pay their debts. We all know what happens then.
CM
Mineweb's retraction here.
http://www.mineweb.com/mineweb/view/mineweb/en/page58?oid=56407&sn=detail
CM
Good read DOS. Gives a lot to think about. Thanks
CM
Really DOS, do you think any amount of baseless bashing can damage the PPS or the company’s credibility at this point?
It seems obvious to me that there is no possibility to hurt Aurus by posting anything and a slim possibility of helping.
CM
The two are not mutually exclusive.
Crazy
It sound like an honest mistake. At least you set the record straight!
CM
DOS, I'm not sure I understand the scenario completely. The company which wanted to buy Aurus would have known the source of the geological report, and known that it wasn’t forged. So what stopped the deal? If the rapid drop in share price scared them away, why would investors be interested now with the current share price?
Don’t get me wrong, I know Aurus is a real company doing business in their own (strange) way. I just can’t see what the difference is between then and now. Maybe you can enlighten me.
Crazy
DOS, if by some strange turn of events you do become privy to insider information, my understanding is that it would be illegal to act on such information (i.e. buy or sell stock) until the information has been made public. Maybe that is something you would want clarified by the SEC prior to your visit. Just a thought…
Crazy
For what it's worth, I have asked for the financials before... and I have asked again today.
Crazy
We can all be sure Aurus has their financials done. It doesn’t follow that they have to publish them. The question is will they post them, and if so, when?
