I bought more today. First I've added since .07-.08 range back in April.
For me, CHFI is a stock to add on dips.
Well, this is a dip.
When China Finance announces their participation in the launch of BioPharm Asia (probably with their Q1 report?), this stock will be double what it is now.
If CHFI got shares in BioPharm Asia, it's under 2.5M shares.
CHFI is not listed as a 5% holder in the filing for DOMR.
But they could still have a significant number of shares.
This lookes like a big project for CHFI- from their December pr on this company:
China Finance (ticker symbol: CHFI), formally set up an group to work on the project of taking HuaChen Pharmaceutical to the US market, moreover, rigorous timeline schedule and team member's duties has all been established to help smoothing and speeding the listing progress.
China Finance will dispatch staffs to visit Huachen's subsidiaries in YunNan province – YunNan Silin Ltd, to further discuss strategic plan regarding pharmacy store chain operation model in the future.
http://www.chinafinanceincorporation.com/news_T.asp?id=137
Note that "HuaChen Pharmaceutical" is now called BioPharmAsia with their launch. See the I-box for links that show this...or you can click on subsidiaries the BioPharm Asia site: http://biopharmasiainc.com/
CHFI (China Finance) "pre-news" news alert.
Thanks to some posters on the CHFI board, and some dd on my own, dots were connected that STRONGLY point to a press release that is due from CHFI announcing a company they helped bring to Nasdac OTC.
If these dots are connected correctly (and I believe they are), then CHFI will move big when this news breaks.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=37808392
I-box updated to show the connection of CHFI and BioPharm Asia.
The pr from BioPharm Asia was released today (in early am hours)
CHFI's could come soon- maybe with Q1 release....that's when the doors will be tight as people try to squeeze into our CHFI!
True. I wasn't sure if BioPharm Asia was a CHFI partner actually.
Not that I didn't trust them on their Chinese subsidiary site...but I just couldn't connect all the dots, until now.
Check this out:
BioPharm Asia is comprised of 4 pharmaceutical companies that were combined into one with $90M in revenues in 2008:
In the wake of successful acquisitions of
Tonghua ShengAnTang Medicine Chain Co., Ltd.
(Tonghua ShengAnTang)
Yunnan SiLin Pharmaceutical Commercial Co., Ltd.
(Yunnan SiLin)
Tonghua Huachen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
(Huachen Pharmaceutical)
Tonghua Huachen Chinese Herbal Planting Co., Ltd.
(Huachen Herbal)
(from their website here)
http://www.biopharmasiainc.com/about.asp
And from the CHFI website:
http://www.chinafinanceincorporation.com/news_T.asp?id=137
So, adding it all up, and I get:
2+2=$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Today is a good day to add, dca down, whatever.
When CHFI announces this in a pr- it's gonna blow!

Hi trendseeker.
Your first China stock buy?
Welcome to the world of usually undervalued, often volatile China microcaps!
I think PUDC and CKGT are both excellent buys here.
I expect CKGT to report a strong quarter, about .03-.04/share, and I'm expecting PUDC to report a weaker Q1 (break even)
Last year, PUDC made .04/share on about $50M in revenues, and I'm expecting less (maybe significantly less) for Q1 of 2009 due to the bottoming out of the steel industry in Q1, and lower coaked coal prices (that have since gone up in Q2).
If PUDC sells off due on the Q1 report, I'll be adding to my position. The underlying fundamentals here are extremely strong, and as China's economy and the steel industtry recover, PUDC's earnings will also.
Just my 2c
CSP
Thanks dragon for the TA- eom
dragon
Please take a look at CKGT.OB chart for me and let me know what you think. They've got a float of about 1.2M
Q1 is expected to be strong for them.
Also, PUDC.OB
Thanks.
CSP
so dragon...
Can you give us an update on the TA- where you see support, trends developing, etc?
Agreed. Volume was lighter today as it pulled back a bit.
Not bad at all considering the move it made the last few days and the overall market being down so much today.
I'm also looking forward to getting more information on their plans for the March land aquisition that you mention. It appears to me that they're looking to increase supply to meet growing demand...which is always a good problem to have!
Yes, thank you to everyone for piecing this mystery together.
Some great detective work here on this board!
Now we need to find out how BioPharm Asia and China Finance (and their wholly-owned subsidiary in China) are connected. Did CHFI loan them money, provide some other assistance in the RM, assist them in going public? Did CHFI obtain any shares of their stock?
A lot of questions still unanswered.
But somehow I believe if we don't hear something from CHFI in a pr soon, our resident stock sleuths will get to the bottom of it.
Ah....here we go
"As part of the Merger Agreement, the Registrant agreed that following the completion of the Merger Transaction that it will adopt amendments to its Articles of Incorporation, subject to shareholder approval, to (i) change its corporate name to "BioPharm Asia Inc."
http://biz.yahoo.com/e/090508/domr.ob8-k.html
Here's the translation link
But I'm not connecting the dots. I don't see that this has to do with CHFI. It seems CHFI would have had a pr on this by now if it were connected...

Looks like some churning today at .65 x .70 to get through
Gotta expect a breather after a 100% intraday rise from 1 week ago.
Thanks for taking care of it so fast!
g-nite
Thanks for the article goldenoldies.
A lot of eyeballs on CHFI these days.
hi Lucy and assistants....
Not that it's really all that important, but shouldn't the closing price of Friday May 8 (.52) be the "starting" price for CKGT, and not the closing price of Monday May 11 (.62)?
Thanks,
CSP
"I want some more cheaper shares! Where the hell are the impatient???"
LOL- I think if they report a bad quarter (which could easily happen given the reports the steel mills have put out so far) and the stock tanks, you may get some cheaper shares, and I for one will load up more on it. They'll be presenting just a week from now in NYC and I think a nice move up on higher volume will be coming shortly after that conference/webcast.
So I see it as good quarter + China Rising Conf. = win
OR
Bad quarter, (load up more on drop into .20s?) , + China Rising Conf. = win
At any rate, they're basically trading at a market cap equal to their cash holdings here- a screaming buy IMO.
And if/when they get final approval for those 6 coal mines... it will double in a day, and triple in two.
CKGT has "inside track" for agriculture feed products & patents.
CKGT.OB is not the company it was a year ago, not with it's move into patented animal feed and animal feed additives, and hardly anyone knows that yet.
But check this out:
Professor Defa Li, is the Director of China's Ministry of Feed Agriculture, (who research and develop new animal feed and feed additives and make recommendations to the central government).
Click below, then click on "Leadership" Button.
http://translate.google.com/translate?prev=hp&hl=en&js=n&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mafic.ac.cn%2Fintro%2Fdefault.asp&sl=zh-CN&tl=en
This same Professor Defa Li, is also on the Advisory Board of Directors of CKGT.OB (scroll to page 19)
http://www.biocactus.com/UploadFiles/20088385518396.pdf
And its this same Ministry of Feed Agriculture that CKGT started working with closely about a year ago:
"The Company has also entered into a long term cooperation agreement related to the research and development of animal feed with The State Ministry of Agriculture Feed Industry Center. This cooperation combines science and technology, full range equipment, and will allow the Company's scientific research personnel to collaborate with the information resources of The State Ministry of Agriculture Feed Industry Center."
"The combined development teams will further study animal nutrition and immunology, which have been the basis for the development of cactus feed and cactus feed additives with different formulas. The success with animal studies led to the development of the products that the Company will market in short future. The parties will further study this area in order to develop additional products."
-------------------------------------
It looks to this investor that CKGT has the inside track in developing new agriculture feed products and getting the patents on them.
This may be a completely unknown company with low trading activity for now...but I can easily see where it that may not be the case a few months from now as more and more people find out what's going on here.
I can't wait to read their Q1 and how this all plays out. The lid may come off here.
We should have a good day here dragon- espscially if they pr this news in the US.
FEED had impressive numbers also- better than GFRE's IMO.
And CKGT is more like FEED than GFRE.
But it's still partly consumer-oritnted, which also bodes well as retail sales were up 15% in China in Q1.
http://www.chinaretailnews.com/2009/03/16/2426-chinas-retail-sales-up-152-in-first-two-months-of-2009/
the retail sales of food, clothing, and daily commodities increased by 14.2%, 15.9%, and 7.6%, year on year respectively.
I predict a record quarter coming our way.
congratulations Mr. Bradford, lol.
Very happy to have your expertise here!
I enjoyed your article of "Top Ten China Microcaps" and am in over half the stocks you mentioned.
http://www.thestreet.com/story/10496234/1/top-10-chinese-microcaps.html
I also think CKGT belongs on that list also for all the reasons mentioned in my previous posts over the last few days. This is another one I've known about for some time but am only now buying (bought more shares today in fact)because of the new agriculture/feed products they're developing that I think makes the company very interesting here.
And if you look in the I-box above, you'll note that they're developing these new porducts (and getting patents on them) alongside the government. You can't get much closer to an inside track than that.
I can see CKGT over $1/share in a very short time frame...days maybe if Q1 is strong and they update patents in the agriculture/feed side of the business or announce a partnership to launch the cigarettes.
I'm sure we'll see an update in the form of pr on this soon.
Great find by drcocomd!
And it's great to see their wholly-owned subsidiary in China is right in the thick of things, still doing business, pressing the flesh, being a bank for these companies, etc.
I don't believe this is the same company they mention in their pr back in January, which is HuaChen Pharmaceutical. It looks like they've got several things cooking right now- including this surprise one.
wow- that's interesting. Thanks. I might have to update the I-box with that. Might we get a pr on this tomorrow?
Glen, do you know how they fit in with this company?
absolutely, that could be part of the reason why.
There have been no Form 4 filings, and if the May 4th sell-off was an insider or major holder, that form should have been filed by now.
I believe this last two weeks was artifically created to create buzz, volume, interest, new shareholders, stories in online publications, and most of all, liquidity to attract more investors.
I don't have any info.
Only the belief that the big swings we're seeing in CHFI these last two weeks are more artifically created to increase "buzz", increase trading, increase the number of shareholders, and increase liquidity for the company.
It looks like it's worked.
Pull up a 1 year volume chart of CHFI and look at how illiquid it used to be...not pretty. Well, that's no longer an issue, and it's my personal believ that what we have witnessed and participated in over the last two weeks or so is exactly what the company wanted.
"So... What u r saying is sell this And buy CKGT correct?"
NO, no, no!
Like many (or most) in China microcaps, I have a basket of them. Right now I'm long about 15 of them.
I only suggest people take a look at CKGT as an companion holding that IMHO is very attractively priced for anything under $1 right now, and probably much higher after they report Q1.
My apologies if I lead you to believe that that was what I was suggesting people do.
I'm long CHFI and was going to buy more today but have not pulled the trigger as I want communication with the company first.
OT/CKGT.OB (China Kangtai Cactus) having a good week as more people discover it's looking more like FEED or HOGS and not a cactus juice company.
I'm not kidding- this one's got it all. Fundamentals, great story, big pipeline of patented products, and a parthership with the government, and a rapid move into China's Agriculture Feed market as a partner with the government.
All it doesn't have is exposure, which is when I buy 'em.
Start your dd here: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=8174
lol- it's a NYC number.
CKGT.OB looking good today. They're the next FEED IMO.
Check out the dd on it- they've partnered with the government to develop new cow, poultry, and fish feed and feed additives that they're now patenting.
eps already an impressive .23/share last year. Will be much more with new feed products.
some dd here if interested.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=8174
Right now I'd rather know why there's no answer at their office, and why they're not replying to emails.
has anyone been able to contact them?
hmmm...
that is odd. I just tried calling also. No answer, and no answering machine.
Anyone else have any luck at (212)823-0530?
exactly.
And why do you think this is being done?
I'll be buying more today- have not pulled the trigger yet...am waiting a bit longer.
I have a theory about the trading over the last two weeks that I'll share later.
Re: First Cow Feed Additive, now PIG FEED ADDITIVE?
I stated: "This (pig feed additive) wasn't announced in any pr I can find."
I since found a mention of the pig feed in a PR from last year. It looks like their plans are get the patents on the new agriculture products first, then launch the product.
From pr May 27, 2008
The Company was previously awarded two patents for Cactus Cattle Feed and Cactus Fish Feed by the State Intellectual Property Office and has five patents pending. These include Cactus Poultry Feed, Cactus Pig Feed, Cactus Cattle Feed Additives, Cactus Poultry Feed Additives and Cactus Pig Feed Additives.
'We are pleased to be awarded this key patent, which builds on the Company's strong intellectual property position,' said Jinjiang Wang, President of China Kangtai Cactus. 'This patent protects the investments we have made in developing a portfolio of cactus-based consumer products in China and provides additional recognition of our leading position in the marketplace.'
http://www.biocactus.com/ArticleShow.asp?ArticleID=157
At any rate, this isn't a just cactus juice company any more. I wouldn't be surprised to see some rebranding of the company taking place as they move more and more into agricutlure-based products.
China Rising Conference May 18th- Puda Coal presenting
Monday, May 18th at 10am (webcast available)
I've been watching the China Rising site and the list of sponsors is impressive and has grown quite a bit in the last two weeks....a good sign that interest is there.
http://www.chinarisingconference.com/sponsors.html
Yes it is.
I included it in my dd post of: "This is why I'm buying GHII Now" from May 2.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=37491858
First Cow Feed Additive, now PIG FEED ADDITIVE?
Their Chinese site at http://www.xrz.cn/index.asp has a page of corporate news for their Chinese customers, sales reps, etc. This is their own internal communication website- not meant for US investor's eyes.
Apparently the company did a road show in November of last year (I'm guessing not a good time to look for money!) to investors in NYC. This wasn't announced in any pr I can find.
Here's the link with some pics and translation:
http://74.125.45.132/translate_c?hl=en&sl=zh-CN&tl=en&u=http://www.xrz.cn/shownews.asp%3Fid%3D258&prev=hp&rurl=translate.google.com&usg=ALkJrhj-F8iXvifDLl3b7G0Bj-tP-wFBag
And check this rough translation out:
"...interested in the company to develop multi-functional green feed products has declared seven national patents, which cactus cattle feed, pig feed products, such as five years in 2008 won the State invention patents, fish feed will also be listed for sale (Note: In this release, when issued, the patent has been made 5)."
_____________________________________
One thing's for sure, this ain't just a cactus juice company anymore.
Are we looking at a future HOGS or FEED?
This is a very exciting company IMO!
Would be nice to see a close above the 50 dma of .40
next week. That would bring out the calvalry.
