Pay attention how the price already starts going up again. If it was to enable shorts to cover, then they know time is running out for them and they must get their shares today, as the company will most likely answer within hours/tomorrow. Placing the article just over lunch time is another "coincidence". If the article is untrue, then they only have a limited time window to cover...which is finishing very soon.
We will see if it's legitimate or not. The company will have to answer. GLTA
Look, you have made your point and I agree with you, it's just a website. Only profit will change the PPS. No pr's, websites, MOU's. Only PROFIT. I guess we all know this and given there is no substance for or against UBRG, (well obviously there is more against UBRG given no profits & dillution) there's not much more to say.
Just shared what I discovered and that's it. I am tired about the basher and pumper debates on this and other stocks and that's why I have never posted on this and other boards, even when I am owning shares. Time to go into darkness again...and leave the playground to others. Reporting the website is up an running is at least a fact...contrary to most other posts...
GLTA on whatever side you are standing and wherever you have invested
Just thought I give it another try and almost fell from my chair when the page loaded...LOL At least some signs of life. Content looks OK and better than in the past. Now profits would be nice... GLTA
Check out www.universalbioenergy.com! Webpage up and running. Haven't checked the content yet, just wanted to share first.
Does this work for "outside-US-shareholders" as well? Anything specific to be paid attention to and until when latest would the money have to arrive with the ESF? Wasn't following this board in detail for a while, so your feedback is appreciated.
Any docs/links you can provide? Thanks.
Hey surf, still in AVNR?
Indeed the timing is "special".
So, Hedge, it's may be now all or nothing. Monday SNK may show their cards. If they decide to sell, well then you got your cheap entry. On the other hand, couple weeks ago you could have entered nicely below 0.01 and could have doubled your money by now.
Hedge, place your bets: what will Monday bring? The big massacre of VSPC, a regular day, a contract, anything else? As for me, no idea, so I may go with business as usual. Any others sharing their view? This board is extremely quiet anyway, so we may just start to speculate.
GLTA! May the force be with us!
So what do you expect now? That I feel soooo sorry for Alex? For not having received my dividend of Alcar Technology Licensor (or whatever it was called)? For Alex having missed the interview at that time and simply disappeared? For Alex having bought a "poisoned" shell? For having played the game of whoever was/is guilty for what happened to ACMG? For promises that he never kept? For the technology that (most likely) wasn't there according to Evgeny Stefoglo? For having lost my money here?
Yes, starting to think about it, I really feel sorry! Where is Alex now with all his promises of getting the share structure and all other elements right? Where is he working now, our poor Doc? Why can't we find anything about him anywhere? Where is he hiding so that we can get justice? Who is his employer?
And no, I don't feel sorry for Alex at all. Maybe he was once trying to get things done. But along they way he became part of the scam and he is no better than the bad guys you are pointing to.
No, no don't start talking about the mentioning of GKG on the cleantech website. How do they dare to put it there without an 8K?? And why has this not been posted on the main newspapers around the globe? Do they have insider info? I could not resist it... LOL
On a more serious note: hedge, does MacDonalds have to file something for opening a new MacDrive? Honestly I have no clue, so maybe you know. I am not an expert on fillings, but I doubt that for every little thing they have to file something.
Which means what exactly for VSPC shareholders??? Are we losing GKG and Ionfinity and DMFCC? I didn't follow the whole conversation, so a quick summary what you believe could happen would be appreciated. Thanks.
Here is actually what I am talking about:
http://www.rubagmbh.de
The video was actually taken from a German movie about the end of Hitler. Whoever used it, they just put the English comments in.
So it may have been RuBa, but I kind of doubt it. The interesting thing about RuBa that I discovered recently is, that there is another RuBa in the same place. This 2nd RuBa (which I strongly believe belongs to "our" RuBa) is a gardening company. What a coincidence. When recently someone posted that VSPC and RuBa are trying to "modify" GKG to grow also in cooler climates, this struck me as a reason for the delay in hearing back from RuBa....
Maybe I am onto something here or not. Who knows...
All the best to you lackofcash. Sorry to lose you here.
We are currently no. 33 on the hot boards....
Could it be, that this was planned from the beginning...
..large Chinese energy company planning to develop a 50 megawatt biomass power plant toured the Giant King Grass plantation. The company has many other operating power projects and the proposed biomass power plant, awaiting government approval, would be located near the current Giant King Grass plantation... -> taken from today's news
What a coincidence that they are planning to build a power plant near the current plantation. Maybe this was the plan from the beginning and some obstacles came up and it took them much longer to overcome them than initially thought. DP Cleantech???
How much GKG do they need for a 50 megawatt plant and how much revenue would this bring? I am sure somebody has kept notes of previous calculations, so any feedback would be appreciated.
Hopefully OAMOT or even OTICTWT (Our Time Is Closer Than We Think)! GLTA
Frankfurt
V2S / EUR 0,0120 35.000 +0,0060 +100,00%
Indeed! Not huge volume (35'000), but nice anyway. I didn't check the German stock exchange so far. Well done Solar.
By the way, you are from Switzerland, right?
Thanks Tommy. This brings a lot more clarity but on the other hand shows how much we are left in the dark. I hope their intentions are more towards to the positive side for their business (and us shareholders...) than to the negative side (only filling their pockets)...
I am still not so much convinced, that they can sell a lot of shares without without a major contract. We know that many of the 19'000 shares were bought by existing VSPC shareholders to find out if these share actually trade. I would dare to say most of them. To sell 1.4mio shares for about $4.0mio they will need many new investors as the current VSPC investors are most likely not going to buy into VGREF shares without a solid contract. Personally I have invested in VSPC the amount I am willing to risk on VSPC and won't buy any VGREF. I guess this applies for most of us....especially as many of us are deep down in the red...
So, where do they get the new investors from? Any potential new investor who does some DD on VGREF/VSPC currently would (in the best case) sit on the fence and wait for real, solid news: contracts. Also the current volume on VSPC is ridiculous. They need to bring something big or both companies go belly up... The latest PR has just avoided further deteriation of the pps. But not for long...
Let's hope something positive will happen soon, so that we all can get at least our money back and add a bit. GLTA.
T9F, I appreciate your input as I am also puzzled about the whole situation. I have a couple of questions that you/others might answer:
1) When exactly will they have these shares available?
2) Do they have to reach a defined business objective (goal) to be achieved before they get them?
3) Is there a time limit for them before they can sell these shares on the open market?
4) Do they have to sell them at a certain price (the famous $3.15) or can they sell for whatever they want ($1)?
5) These shares have nothing to do with the first payment to Chang (I believe $1mio)?
So, in case you answer most of the above questions as I would expect, then still they need to get some contracts as today, I doubt that they could even sell only a part of the 1.4mio shares at $1. Nobody would buy them. So, they need contracts sooner or later.... Thanks for your feedback.
That's exactly what I was thinking too. At the current situation, they won't be able to sell these 1.4mio shares. Who's going to buy them? Certainly not for $3.15 and with a history of no contracts but just PR's about "potential customers" or "Non disclosure agreements".
So, the bonus only makes sense, if they can get a deal done and it must be a bigger one or several medium ones to justify $3.15 for 1.4mio shares....
I am no expert in those fillings, but am I right in assuming they could have issued the form whenever they wanted? It wasn't linked to a firm timing (i.e. within 12 months after day x), was it? So, why issuing the shares now if they cannot capitalize on them?
Somehow I get the feeling we are there or very close to a deal/deals. Anybody sharing my view?
Fully agree. We were all hoping for news once VGREF was starting to trade. After months of delays (almost one year) with registration, etc. we were finally there. And then...nothing. No PR to support it.
Carl is greedy and on the other hand sees himself somehow as the saviour of the world with his GKG. He presents himself as Mr. Green but gets nothing done. No deal as feedstock, no deal for biomass (gas), no deal for pellets, no deal for nothing. Only 1 container of fire logs that most likely was bought by shareholders.
Get real Carl. If there are so many parties interested, give it to them at a fair price. Many small/medium sized deals also make a huge amount. Then get your salary and bonus and present yourself as Mr. Green on as many congresses as you want. But for heaven's sake until then....DELIVER!!!
Even the worst salesman can get deals done if his product is good. Having seen Dr. K presenting, I think he qualifies for the worst salesman. So, if he had a great product, it wouldn't matter that much and we would have deals by now. I am really starting to wonder how much GKG is actually worth. They tested with many companies (DP, Ruba, etc.) -> no deal.
Presentations on all these congresses around the globe -> no deal.
Presentations to many customers, showing the GKG fields and facility -> no deal
China is buying whatever they can to run their powerplants, I would even imagine that if somebody eats a chocolate bar there is already somebody there to pick up the wrapping of the bar to burn it as waste in a power plant. They use anything, except GKG. -> no deal.
DMFC is dead. I bought VSPC in the first place because of Ionfinity and the other technologies (which were sold for peanuts). I cannot see the advantage of DMFC if you have power plugs everywhere to recharge your batteries. Why would I pay for Fuel cells if I can buy one or 2 batteries and have access to power pretty much everywhere? I could only imagine some limited use in areas where longlife of batteries is needed, for example fire alarms. But again on DMFC and Ionfinity -> no deals.
Well, at least we got this great video of an old man reading some slides, people falling asleep and it is great fun seeing Carl spending my money and getting me nothing for it. I once believed in what the company did but now I am left with some framed art...and some kind of grass that nobody wants, really nobody. I will wait till January and if Carl gets nothing accomplished then I move on. No sense in selling now...unfortunately. Only losses. So let's hope for a good start into 2011!
Nice, we are no. 18 on the ihub breakout boards. The discussions however are another story... I am amazed about hedge's archive of posts. Have you kept every single of the so far 14745 posts? Wow, so now you have one more. Even though I did not talk to Dr J or Dr K.
Fact is, nobody knows anything that has not been posted yet. Well, nobody except Dr K and maybe Chang. Things have gone much slower than we (and most likely Dr K) expected. There were some statements in pr's that did not end up as expected and there were no follow ups. I think our Dr's are kind of "junior" in their roles and their approach to business is sometimes pretty weak. But this is business and either you wait and keep your shares or sell and move on. So, there is the positive side and the negative side. Have fun discussing till the board falls dead because of the constant back and forth that will not bear any result.
I will wait till I see something worthwile reading on this board or on a pr. Positive or negative and not this back-and-forth on arguments that can be twisted on both sides. I am not getting what the motivation of hedge and T9F is to try to rip this apart. Sell and move on, if you don't like what you see. Come back if this turns out to be a scam or fails and tell us that you told us 1mio times and how foolish we were to buy VSPC.
So, from the people having tried the logs, how many would/are going to re-buy some? Who was really convinced about them and is ready to pay again for them (including shipping cost)? If you say so, then please don't look at yourself as a VSPC shareholder, but as a common consumer. This way we could get a feeling how good they are. Thanks for your answers to this little poll!
Something I found today, which is a report dated August 2010 I think:
http://wintergreenresearch.com/reports/DMFC.htm
At least DMFC is not yet dead. We are still considered a major player. Haven't bought the report (I'd prefer to put the $3'500 into more VSPC shares...), but if anybody does buy it, well, then let us know. Just a short heads up as we haven't heard anything on the DMFC side for a long time...
GLTA!
I believe it when I see it (them)... Hope you are right! GLTA
Thanks seattle! Interesting! Really, if GKG is only 10% as good as Carl claims, then he must find a customer. We must get at least 1 contract to start things off.
Here is an article about what I was referring to in my earlier message. Sounds somewhat matching with our PR of today:
Procter & Gamble's sustainability goals include using less petroleum-based resin
By Dan Hockensmith | PLASTICS NEWS STAFF
Posted September 27, 2010
CINCINNATI (Sept. 27, 12:40 p.m. ET) -- Consumer products giant Procter & Gamble Co. has announced a sweeping sustainability effort, one that likely will have far-reaching impact on the plastics industry.
The goals announced Sept. 27 in a webcast by Cincinnati-based P&G were:
* All packaging to be made from renewable or recyclable materials.
* P&G’s manufacturing plants to be powered with 100 percent renewable energy.
* Zero waste going from P&G or its consumers to landfills.
* Designing products to both please consumers and to maximize available resources.
Officials announced several goals to be reached by 2020, including:
* Replacing 25 percent of all petroleum-based materials with “sustainably sourced” renewables.
* Additional packaging reduction.
* Engineering detergents so that all P&G products will work in cold water.
* Reducing overall company waste to less than one-half of one percent.
* A 20 percent reduction in truck transportation.
During the webcast, Bob McDonald, P&G’s chairman, president and CEO, said the measures are aimed at growing the company’s customer base to 5 billion by 2015, 1 billion more than the present.
“What is important that we don’t treat environmental sustainability as different from our base business,” he said. “When we operate sustainably, we earn gratitude, admiration and trust that lead to opportunity, partnerships and growth.”
In a Sept. 27 e-mail, P&G spokeswoman Rotha Penn confirmed that the company’s long-term vision is to eliminate all petroleum-based virgin plastic. P&G earlier this year announced plans to use Braskem SA’s sugarcane-derived polyethylene in selected packaging for P&G’s Pantene Pro-V, Covergirl and Max Factor products.
Len Sauers, P&G’s vice president of global sustainability, said during the event that in the near term:
* P&G will install additional solar panels and wind turbines at its plants in California and Europe.
* A new P&G plant in the western United States will be powered by geothermal energy.
“Our new vision is a continuation of our sustainability initiatives and, in fact, we’ve already been working against some of its key points,” Sauers said.
He said that current programs have allowed P&G since 2007 to reduce by 300,000 tons its packaging materials usage.
P&G plans to entirely eliminate PVC packaging within two years, he said.
P&G began to avoid the use of PVC in packaging in the early 1990s, Penn said. “Today, PVC represents less than 1.5 percent of the company’s total use of plastic packaging materials,” she said.
“[The overall sustainability goals] won’t be achieved in 10 years or perhaps even 40 years, but we will hold ourselves accountable to progress,” McDonald said.
P&G set up its sustainability division in 1999. In 2009, the company announced a goal of selling $50 billion in sustainability-driven products by 2012 — a goal that officials said they are close to meeting.
P&G in May launched a sustainability scorecard to measure and improve the environmental performance of its key suppliers.
Using measures similar to the packaging scorecard introduced in 2007 by Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the P&G model will assess its suppliers’ environmental footprints and encourage improvement by measuring year-to-year energy use, water use, waste disposal and greenhouse gas emissions.
GLTA!! This could really be huge!
One of the most interesting pieces of today's news to me was:
Held a teleconference with a leading global consumer product company that is planning to replace petroleum-based chemicals and plastics used in their pharmaceutical, cleaning supply and personal care products by biochemicals and bio plastics
I am pretty sure I know the company they are talking about. This is a huge company and given that this company decided to move away from petroleum-based chemicals I am also sure they don't want to get negative PR about using "food-based" materials instead of petroleum based. This might harm them more than sticking to what they have today. That's why GKG could play a major role. If our Doc can sign a deal with this company, well then he got a big fish!
GLTA
It's a pitty it doesn't say exclusive license. Anyway, I don't remember having seen this PR before. Have I missed it so far?
Next week! The week???
Where's the sticky note for the new VGREF website??
Can it really be true??? Vgref website online? I am getting excited about next week. Maybe this is the beginning!
I doubt they will start trading before the web site www.viaspacegreenenergy.com goes online. Where will potential investors get their infos about the company from? So, maybe, just maybe today after the market closes or Monday some things we were waiting for finally will be announced... I would assume that from the time of "major" news until trading starts there is at least 1 day in between so that potential investors can do their DD. If VGREF just starts trading without the things I mentioned before, then watch out. It would just be for Management to fill their pockets... GLTA
What do these Tanner-White guys actually want? If they really intend to sue VPSC, what money do they expect to get out of them? This is a pink with little money and not cash flow positive yet.
If they are trying to buy up shares for somebody or just pump the stock, then this would be a different story. Is someone going to attend the confcall?
Funny though that the only news about VPSC we got recently is this Tanner-White story. Otherwise this board would be completely dead (unfortunately). I hope that next week we get some news from Dr. K about his trip to Europe where I guess he is right now (RuBa) as the second part of his trip is to Asia to also attend the conference on 26th July. Let's hope the RuBa results are good and that we will get some kind of contract! GLTA.
T9F to answer your question:
GmbH is a "type of company". Generally a GmbH has less legal and financial requirements than a "AG" and for a GmbH you don't own shares that are traded on the markets, but you own "parts". Hence to found a GmbH you need less money than for a "AG" and this normally is for smaller companies. Also risk wise the company can only be sued on the company money, you cannot go after the owners' private capital. Solar/Tanne, feel free to correct me on this one.
With regards to the name RuBa this clearly indicates, that it is an abbreviation of some sort. Most likely Ruffen and Bears (RuBa) as the original founders.
Do you mean Kukkonen? That's Finish, not German. But maybe he's going there for a couple days too. Not too long of a trip from Germany, couple of hours only. Well, hopefully he will come back with a suitcase full of contracts... GLTA
Don't they have to present their Q1/2010 numbers by tomorrow latest? Let's see if we can find something positive in there...
The weather in Europe is a lot better now and I think our GKG in Germany can't complain about having had to little rain since planting on 06/06. Now it's warmer and more dry, so I guess in a couple of weeks it will be high enough for cutting.
Tanne, are you living somewhere close to Ruba Energie? Maybe someone can ask solarpower on Yahoo too, as I have not signed up there. Finally GKG is somewhere nearer than Asia, so maybe we have some other posters from Germany who could do some DD, or even have a look at the Ruba location? GLTA
Will we see more volume and an uptick? Let's at least close at 0.019!
Interesting day. We are still holding 0.019. Couple of buys and if it continues this way we might close with over 1.5mio shares. I am really wondering when the next pr hits the wires. Was expecting something first half of this week, but I doubt we see something tonight or tomorrow.
By the way, the quarterly results must be due until 30th June I guess, so latest next Wed we will hear something. Let's see and waaaaiiiiitttt.
