Not let me play in any of their reindeer games.
Who doesn't like skating?
Maybe @IH Geek [Chuck] and @IH Geek [Tom] won't notice that I dissed them on this board too LOL
It says "PlusOneCoin cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified" and in smaller print "macOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware." Scary, but that doesn't mean it's infected. What that actually means is nobody paid a fee to Apple for them to review open-source software. The code is here on Github.
https://github.com/plusonecoin/plusonecoin
I believe that both @IH Geek [Chuck] and @IH Geek [Tom] have used the Mac wallet. While they're what most people would call "mildly impaired", they're not infected 🤣

Try the one on Github. If you get the same message, your antivirus is giving you a false positive. If you don't, I'll get the other one replaced.
https://github.com/plusonecoin/plusonecoin/releases/tag/v0.1.2.0
Correction: this isn't a message from an antivirus - it's Apple saying no one paid them to look at open-source software. The code is here https://github.com/plusonecoin/plusonecoin

SIdenote: thanks for being one of the people that rapidly adopted the use of Mentions. I'm a little puzzled Mentions aren't in wider use. They're very useful.
While everyone likes a heaping helping of greed and power, it was shut down to prevent gaming the system. We found that people were creating throwaway IH accounts just to milk the faucets and then funnel it to the real account. Removing Transfer from public visibility made this harder and slightly less profitable. I'm talking to Staff folks with responsibility for that area to get buy-off to open it back up. This is the same kind of thing that happens a thousand times a day in any company past a certain size.
As for me, any PLUS1 that I ever traded came from my personal mining. I would occasionally have to test the faucets and those coins were immediately donated to the Community faucet. I also restocked the Community faucet many times from my personal mining efforts. Because I'm greedy like that. Next question.
If only everyone had a crystal ball. Bet this guy wishes his had been working. https://www.coindesk.com/consensus-magazine/2023/05/22/celebrating-bitcoin-pizza-day-the-time-a-bitcoin-user-bought-2-pizzas-for-10000-btc/
I just tried this with Safari and a Macbook Pro. It downloaded with no problems. Possibly your antivirus errs on the side of caution. Other options, you can download it from Github here: https://github.com/plusonecoin/plusonecoin/releases/tag/v0.1.2.0
Or if you're up for examining the code and compiling it yourself, the code is here: https://github.com/plusonecoin/plusonecoin
Other Staff who work on that codebase and higher-ups that need to agree to the change. I'm very hopeful this can be pushed through shortly.
We gave you over a year 😂 and you still have plenty of time to take care of things. Git 'er done.
Sorry, right now it's showing for Staff only. I wasn't aware that it had been restricted. I'm negotiating to get it reopened.
The wallet address you see here: https://ih.advfn.com/common/plusonecoin/balance is your deposit address. No one can do anything with that except send you more coins. That can safely be shared globally.
Wasn't my decision so I have no insight to share on this one.
The notice was sent to everyone who had PLUS1 coins at the time. I initially thought mobile app people didn't see alerts, but I've been told they do. Were you the one I sent the alert again to? If so, we show you had already received it once and hidden it.
Sorry folks, looks like the Transfer option is a Staff only thing at the moment. I'm talking to the PlusOne guys to see if I can get it opened to everyone.
Using that method will incur a transfer fee, small though it is. Using the member-to-member transfer method incurs no fees. Other members just need to know your ADVFN username to send them to you, which for you, is ih_72302
Yes, that is correct.
Doubtful that it would be extended. The notice went out almost a year ago. My instructions are not secret knowledge. There are any number of folks on this board who would have been happy to help anyone along the path to learning how to do this. There is still over a month to get this done. While I'm guilty of this myself, procrastination is almost never an acceptable reason for extending a deadline. If anyone is experiencing transfer delays other than the normal amount of time that it takes to do a crypto transfer let me know.
I would encourage you to transfer your coins and give trading them a whirl. If you leave them here, you get nothing. If you trade them at southXchange (again, not an endorsement) the trading pair is PLUS1BTC. BTC you can use to trade for other things and so on. It might turn out to be a useful learning experience.
Zero. Seriously.
Here are a couple of ways to avoid losing access to your PLUS1 coins:
1. You can create a PLUS1 coin wallet on either a PC or a Mac, by visiting https://www.plusonecoin.org/ There are download links to the wallets at the very top of the page.
2. You can transfer your coins to an exchange that supports PLUS1. https://www.plusonecoin.org/ lists two. There may be more. I've never used Finex. I've used southXchange (although this is not an endorsement) and as of a day or two ago when I checked, it still dealt in PLUS1.
Once you've done one of those two options, you can go here to withdraw your PLUS1 coins to the address of your local wallet or the wallet provided to you by the exchange https://ih.advfn.com/common/plusonecoin/balance
Exactly right. With the possible exception of selling for $27K a coin 🥲
This one? Where he says "No idea"? Btw, you're a mod on this board - you can sticky anything you want.
No idea.

There's no limit that I'm aware of.
Renting a GPU is not browser hijacking. People who rent GPUs are paying to use someone else's hardware. Browser hijacking is sneaking in bits of javascript or some such to do crypto mining unbeknownst to the owner of the browser - using their hardware and paying nothing for it.
Yes, of course.
PLUS1 is a mineable coin and is being actively mined.

"*Withdrawals incur a transaction fee of 0.000100 PLUS1" is on the wallet page. Transfer fees are part of crypto (there are maybe 2 coins with no transfer fees). Multiply the amount you are transferring by the transfer fee and that's what it will cost to transfer it. Internal transfers (if you're sending coins to another IH user) are free.
