Iraqs oil bribery Scam.
I'm sure everyone has heard of this story by now that broke a few days ago.
There's 270 names on that list and instead of naming them all, I'm gong to tell you about the only 2 names that weren't on that list:
Bush and Cheney.
Is that possible?
I'm always hearing liberals running around screaming some non-sence about Bush and Cheney and Haliburton trying to dominate the world or whatever.
Why aren'r there names on that list?
Has been since the biginning of time.
War is a fact of life. Sad as it may be.
Just like there will always be poor people.
Always has been, always will be. Get used to it.
Hey Chris, nothing like using dead Americans to push your agenda.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
HEY, can't we all... just... get along?
Augie, what's considered oversold? Anything under zero?
LOL! eom.
The lesson from Vietnam is: Play to win or don't play at all.
This time, we're playing to win.
Whatever, aj, gom epease the enemies of the U.S.
What you think doesn't really matter.
What I think doesn't really matter.
The only thing that really matters is who you and I vote for.
Alot of people in this world don't have that opportunity.
I do, so I'm taking advantage of it.
No, I think that's optionkid!
Revenge sex. That's new one
I have no problem with us backing Iraq against Iran in the 1980,s.
It was the right decision at the time.
Syl, instead of denouncing your own govenment (I'm assuming you are a U.S. citizen), you should be denouncing the dictators like Saddam and demanding that they treat their people fairly and stop the genicde.
Instead, you apease the enemy and denounce your own government.
Just remember: When you apease the enemy, they'll see you as a wimp and they will take you out the first chance they get.
Why do you think we got hit so many times in the 90's?
Because our president didn't give a damn.
Hell, I remember see bin laden on T.V. calling us infidiel and saying he was going to take down America.
I laughed my ass off. Why shouldn't I? My president didn't take it seriously. Isn't that his job? Protect the citizen of the U.S. from foriegn threat? Thank you President Clinton. Nice job.
Enough already with the silly liberal notion that were supposed to UNDERSTAND WHY ARE ENEMIES HATE US. While your busy looking for a reason why somebody hates us, they're busy plotting to try and kill every one last of us.
The only thing we need to understand is who the enemy is and then KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM. Then go back to being the great country we are.
The worlds a better place because of the United States of America.
Would you really feel safer with Dean or Kerry as president as opposed to Bush?
Yes, thank you.
Now what is a good ratio?
Wahz always talks about the Dow-Naz having meaning if it's above or below a 5:1 ratio.
I really don't know how to interput this (BDH/NAZ).
What are your thoughts on using that info?
Are we only supposed to be talking politics until Sunday evening?
Yes, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Great post Augi! eom.
And don't forget the recent times of France and Iraq.
They were in bed together all along.
That's the real reason they sat idle and opposed us.
"and how many dead VCs and NVAs? get a clue!"
Hey, if you'd had haned over your country like the French, everybody would be a lot happier.
Gotta' love Happy Hour!
Bull, have you thought about the relationship between the BDH and the $comp?
Maybe a ratio like the Dow/Naz?
Or,is there are ready an indicator for this.
"I sure hate to compliment the French. God knows, it won't last.
"
They do make some good red wines and a few assorted cheeses.
" He never should have left them to get out of Tora Bora. Now their network is larger than ever and have spread all over Iraq thanks to Bush."
Really.
If that's true, than this country is in a more dangerous
than ever before.
Are you suggesting that we "escalate" our military efforts aaginst terrorism? Starting with Pakistan?
I think if Clinton would have taken Bin LLaden into custody the two times BL was offered up on a platter, we wouldn't have to worry about bin laden.
Hey, don't shoot. I'm only the messenger:

And this:
==========
CONFIDENCE ON RISE
The University of Michigan's consumer confidence index rose to a final reading of 103.8 in January from December's 92.6, according t*****ket sources who saw the data, which is issued only to paying subscribers.
Separately, the national Association of Purchasing Management said its barometer of business activity in the Midwest ticked up in January for a ninth straight month -- another indicator that expansion rolled solidly into 2004.
Its business barometer climbed to 65.9 from 61.2 in December, with any reading over 50 indicating expansion in manufacturing.
The Commerce Department said consumer spending, which accounts for two-thirds of gross domestic product, rose at a 2.6 percent pace in the fourth quarter, a sharp slowdown from the heady, tax-cut induced 6.9 percent gain of the prior three months.
Growth in business spending and residential investment also slowed, it said.
Exports of goods and services jumped 19.1 percent in the fourth quarter, nearly twice the third-quarter's increase, as a weaker dollar helped make U.S.-produced exports cheaper.
Gross domestic product, after adjustment for inflation, expanded 3.1 percent last year, up from 2.2 percent in 2002, for the best performance since 3.7 percent in 2000.
Inflation was muted last year, according to the GDP report. A closely watched index, which measures consumer prices without energy and food, rose at an annual rate of only 0.7 percent in the fourth quarter, the lowest quarterly rise since 1962.
"yeah but we are going to agree on Pakistan.Pretty sure anyway;>)
"
I really doubt it.
Syl want us to cut and run, right Syl?
Hey, according to Madaline Albright, the Bush administration knows where Bin Laden is hiding. They're just waiting for a politically good time to go get him.
I hope Bush learned his lesson with Saddam.
Don't roll him out on a Sunday.
Roll that Bastard bin laden out around 3:15 p.m. on a Friday!
"I can't imagine two guys providing a more complete perspective on things. We have both ends covered."
Ying and Yang.
SNDK;
A few people have asked my opinion recently of SNDK. While I don't have an opinion on the stock, he's a little blurp on the market size of memmory. The tpye used in digital cameras, Mp3 player, ect.

Still, skyrocketing sales are providing a motive for manufacturers to improve the basic technology and design of cards. The worldwide flash memory card market generated $1.7 billion in revenue in 2002, according to research firm IDC, which estimates that that total increased by more than 100 percent in 2003.

"this is VERY important for BKHM..have any...yet??:>)"
That's music to my ears. I hope your right, because I loaded the boat so damn full the other day, I almost lightened the load today so it didn't sink.
I have a 3x position in HLIT, too.
Just couldn't stand being in cash when I sold it the other day.
"there is going to be some serious damn short covering tomorrow..or my name isn't.....:>)"
Do you think out of the gate? Or a dump first, like today?
Do you think NENG will pop tomorrow , or the whole sector for that matter?
Was that "window dressing" we saw on the techs today?
We may get more of the same tomorrow. If stocks are up big pre-market, they'll probable "dump" again.
"Free Sushi for everyone....yuck"
That's more disgusting than the photo!
How would you like to have been on that moped, and slipped and slid into that mess?
Oh, think of the stench!

Thanks for the clarification. eom
Thanks, got it bookmarked...snort!
I do too, because next Tuesday and Feb 09, would be less than a week apart.
That would be kind of meaningless.
What thread is he on SI?
OOOOOhh, I went back and re-read da chief's post.
I see what you mean.....snort! I hope you are right....snort..
I'd rather see that high on NEXT Tuesday.
Da'chief can be kinda cryptic at times....snort!
bits, I use ScotTrade because they're a 5 minute drive down the street. If there's a problem, I can drive down for a "face-to-face", if need be.
I think all the brokers are fu@@ed up. I really don't think one is MUCH better than another.
Hey, they didn't route that customer service call to India, did they? ;>)
I was just kidding, but sitting here tonight, it looks like he called the top we had Monday.
Very interesting, that chief.

Love your calls, dude.
Would that come off of da chief's low on Feb 09 (give or take a day, of course). :>)
