Two new photos. Nothing to get excited about but does show the huge lake starting to fill up that had a ton of machinery in a few weeks back when I was down there. And the other one is a track hoe that has recently appeared beside all that pipe that is laying there.

Thanks...he knew what I was trying to show from that post. He just wanted to try to twist it into something it wasn't.. Relatively speaking, Charleston is just a stones throw from the Medient site. And why would Trump, Jr need to keep going back to visit the site and how does he know whether or not Trump, Jr has or has not been back to the site?? Pure speculation I'm sure.
Wouldn't it just be lovely to have a nice PR in the morning stating what the deal was that was signed down in Charleston today. That would be icing on the cake and what I'm expecting for this stock to be on a roll before management's trip to NYC the next day! Glad I stayed on the M train for sure!!
Rode down to the site today just for the heck of it and has been some new digging and clearing since the last time I went and even a track hoe over by those pipes that I showed the first time I went down there....Also was a lot of fresh surveying tape over in the area of the electric transmission line that goes thru the property. Really wet to get thru there to gain access so I didn't go looking to see if I could see any more cleared areas in the backside of the property.
Draw your own conclusions from my post but the whole point of that post was just to verify that Trump,Jr does have a prefab facility in Charleston and duh, I mean really, duh, there is a railroad that goes within a quarter of a mile of the Medient site and bringing in a trainload of material would only require 1, that's ONE trip to get the materials to the site so YOU think before you post or get your information correct before responding...Did you hear me say anything about Mellon being involved in the project? All I was doing was verifying where Trumps facility is.

One of the best posts I've seen on here. Keeps running thru my mind and something that's lacking in this stock is more direct communications from management on what is happening in Effingham County? Personally I couldn't stand up in NYC and promote a stock that was tanking. Where is the news? I know that there has to be some management folks who are reading this board too and ya'll need to put out a PR or two that explain where this company is so it'll take off. Don't they realize that the first thing new investors are going to do is look at the charts of where the stock is and where it's come from and where it's headed?
I've enjoyed the discussion back and to from both sides today and learning a lot. Straight out bashing just to be bashing is one thing, but pointing out strengths and weaknesses that we all need to look at is really helpful. For now, I'm still a long although I had hoped I wouldn't have to be in here for months or years for it to pay off.
I've got confidence in Medient, but at some point we have to be realists too and I've got a wheelbarrow full and I'm not buying anymore until I see some positive information, I mean REALLY positive information come thru on this stock? Where's that filing on the Atlas merger? Who's the general contractor? A FIRM construction date? I watched the entire money I invested yesterday evaporate in the same day although I did get a lot more shares, but I'm tired of taking one step forward and three steps back. Not being a basher because I'm thru buying but just being a realist. Depending on what this stock does this week or next week or what information the company puts out is going to make my decision on whether to take my loses and move on or stay with them and try to weather the stock out to higher levels. The dilution has GOT to stop! NO PR is going to make it run if they don't stop flooding the market with shares.
Thanks for the update!! That to me is BIG news! Spending 15 years in the land surveying business, 4 trucks of surveyors means something is definitely going on up in there! I'm still a little worried, but I do believe that we're going to end up having the last laugh with this. Why else would I still be buying up shares? I've got the faith in this project coming to completion. Ready for those PR's that really make this project take off. There's PR's and there's PR's. We're getting some news, but we need a PR with some meat on it so this will take on off. Now you got me wanting to ride down and take a look. You shoulda talked to the surveyors...sometimes you can get a LOT of information out of them. Today was rent day for me for a lot of folks so I couldn't take off and come down there. Nice that you did and saw surveyors...that helps relieve a little of my anxiety! lol
Did you get a chance to ride down to the site today? Anything? I'd be interested if the white metal gates that allow access to the site are open during the week. That would maybe mean they're in there doing something although there's no trespassing signs on them and I don't think I'd go venturing in there.

Congrats to all you longs who hung in there with LVVV....I sold out all of mine gambling that another stock would take off before LVVV did......and I made a bad gamble.. Was hoping this other stock would take on off as it really seemed (s) like it was. If it does ever take off and LVVV hasn't left me too far in the smoke I'll still try to come back in and get some shares back as it seems to really be on a roll. Go LVVV...make all these longs some money!! :)
You'd think that Medient would want their share prices to be on a roll when they go to that investor conference. Hopefully we're going to get really good news a little later this week so that this thing is on a roll as they're up there in NYC making their presentation.
Dang...I quit watching and just can't believe this close...UGGH!! What really makes it painful is all 3 other stocks that I traded in to buy this............stock........ were all green today...one even went up 66% today. Shoulda, coulda, woulda....But, the good (and maybe insane) news is that I added a good bit more shares today at these cheap prices. Well, what I hope are cheap...Need to see that Atlas filing and it be real good and maybe this thing will do good for us. Getting a little discouraged at this point but going to hold on for a little longer. That stock that went up 66% had sat in one place like a yoyo for about 2 months or so and the RIGHT PR made it jump like a rabbit. Was up a good bit more than the 66% for a large portion of the day. Those guys (and gals) are feeling like Santa came to see them today! Me, the Grinch came a calling...
If you're down near Pooler, you're just a stone's throw from the site. If you could, why don't you just ride by the site and see if you see anything new ie clearing where the bridge will go, any batter boards up in that HUGE cleared area right before you get to the Interstate Bridge or if you're coming off the Interstate, just as soon as you get off the exit and turn right, look over to your right and you'll see the BIG area that's where all the housing is to be built. Might be some equipment clearing in the very back of that cleared area on the right side as part of putting in the boundary road around the site which I think is one of the first things they plan to do..

I decided to try for a little downward trend at opening and it worked. Got mine for .0105 and I'm thrilled! The event MDNT is attending in NYC is THIS Thursday and if their presentation is good, I'm assuming that there will be a TON of new eyes looking at this stock and investing! People with REAL fat wallets!! Wait around on those cheap shares if you want to but this one is going to have it's day and SOON! Kind of a rainy day down here. Think I might ride down to the MDNT site and just see if anything new is going on. I was amazed at the comment that acquiring the large amount of steel was one issue that the company was having. Apparently it's going to be massive construction going on there.

Actually there's been more news on this stock than at anytime in the last couple of month just in the last week!! If there hadn't been so much dilution going on I believe this stock would already be at or near a nickel if not a dime. Smarter and more experienced minds than mine seem to think most if not all of that dilution is over with now so I'm buying at the ask. Good luck on getting those cheaper shares but one day (probably TODAY) those chances are going to be gone. Going to ride down this week later on and see what I can see going on down that way as the weather is nice, large portions of land have been cleared, and it's time for some serious construction to be going on in that area! Good luck, but don't wait until they start shooting movies there to buy or you'll be paying in the $$$ per share!

Medient gets extra 60 days to finish plan

Effingham Industrial Development Authority members have granted a 60-day extension on a master plan for a massive studio project off Interstate 16.
Medient Studios, which has announced it will build a movie, DVD and video game production complex on 1,550 acres off I-16 and Old River Road, asked for the postponement as it retools its expected first phase of development.
“Water and sewer demand is our biggest issue,” IDA CEO John Henry said. “Traffic flow and water-sewer demand are big drivers in their master plan.”
IDA members and staff and representatives from Medient Studios are continuing to iron out the massive project’s needs and how to meet those demands. Medient officials and IDA representatives met last week at an IDA property committee meeting to discuss the snags inherent in providing massive amounts of water and sewer. They have met twice since last Tuesday’s property committee session.
Henry said the IDA needed a linear approach, rather than the studio’s geographic method so board members and staff could “figure out what they need and when they need it.”
“We can’t do a thing without that,” IDA member Glenn Weston said of the master plan and development schedule.
Henry added the IDA has asked Medient and its partners to finalize their expected need for water and sewer capacity and when those needs will arise. The studio is proposing to accelerate the construction of on-site housing as part of its master plan.
But doing so also would significantly increase the amount of water and sewer capacity needed — and also change how quickly it can be delivered. What had been thought initially to be a 150,000 gallon-per-day need for water and sewer could top 1 million gallons per day with the housing construction.
“We have to have realistic numbers on cost and know who is going to be responsible for the cost,” Henry said.
A proposed development schedule has the start date for roads and utilities starting this month, and work on housing and the main studio next month, with completion of those occurring later this year.
“Strategically, we’re looking at phases 1 and 2 having simultaneous development,” Medient CEO Manu Kumaran said at the property committee meeting.
To deliver that much water and sewer capacity, it could be necessary to tie into the county’s water and sewer lines. That could take as much as 12-18 months to accomplish.
“We need as much time as they do,” Henry said. “We want to be able to accommodate all their future needs.”
The difference between the initial first phase need and what could be requested is about $8 million, Henry estimated. The IDA has a cost estimate on drilling a well but that estimate is only good for another month.
IDA Chairman Dennis Webb said solving the water supply concerns has three components — drilling the well as planned, drilling several smaller, temporary wells or tying into the county’s water lines near Marlow Elementary School, the nearest junction to the site. It also could be a combination of those options, he added.
The IDA and Medient had discussed using an on-site septic tank system for the first phase while a sewage treatment facility was constructed.
“The sewer side,” Webb said, “is much more complicated.”
Webb said the IDA is in close contact with temporary county administrator Toss Allen and county public works engineer Steve Liotta about the possible water and sewer needs.
“It’s going to take a lot more analysis on our part,” Henry said. “We don’t want to duplicate expenditures.”
With the revised projections of wastewater in the plan, Medient could generate as much as 800,000 gallons of reuse water. IDA officials wondered how that could be disposed. Manoj Koshy, in charge of Medient’s infrastructure, said there will be enough vegetation and greenery that needs watering.
“I’m used to using that much,” said Koshy, president and studio head of infrastructure.
The housing portion of the development is being advanced because of the amount of building materials needed and the five to six months it could take to get those delivered.
“The issue is to pre-order the steel,” Kumaran said. “The volume of steel is so huge, it’s hard to get it on the open market.”
Henry said the deadlines established in the memorandum of understanding, including the timelines of payments and job creation, don’t appear to be moving.
“They run the risk of not meeting their own deadlines,” he said.
The 60-day extension also isn’t seen as significantly slowing down the project, and a development of regional impact study still must be completed.
“I think this is going to be a great project for this region,” Henry said. “We may have to get more people involved. But as long as we’re moving forward, I think it’s going to be an extreme game-changer for the area. It’s worth the effort, it’s worth the exercise to go through to get the result we anticipate.”
“It’s an $8 million difference,” Henry said. “We’re not going to go forward without water and sewer. There’s a ton of front-end work. I have to make sure we don’t spend any more of the taxpayers’ money than we need to.”
IDA Chairman Dennis Webb said that providing the water being requested likely would not be as difficult as meeting the sewage needs.
“We’ve got to get going to make that happen,” he said.
IDA officials proposed temporary wells to handle the construction phase’s water needs until lines can be extended to the county’s water and sewer connections, which are several miles away.
“We all want to make sure it’s sustainable,” Kumaran said. “If this property is developed in the most efficient and most economical way, that’s the ideal solution for us. If we have to push back some of the things we have to do, we’re happy to do that.”
Fingers, you're just wanting to get cheap shares in the morning...better do like I am and slap that ask fast and hard if you're going to get in while it's low. Too much positive information on this stock for it to just keep staying down. Should get a PR tomorrow on the Atlas merger details and maybe a general contractor later in the week and who knows what else we're going to be hearing. Billion dollar baby and I'm in on it's toes! This is a BILLION DOLLAR BABY we're getting in on sub-ground floor! Hoping for an exciting February with many PR's and lots go things happening and we watch as we leave that penny stock WAY ON BACK in the rear view mirror and watch as it becomes a nickel stock, a dime stock, and who knows..maybe even a dollar stock at some point? Will take a lot of bumpy riding to get it up that high but I think if they can get the physical buildings started on the site that this stock is going to soar! Ready to fly! So right now, I'm going to BUY! BUY! BUY!!
Here's one that will be loading up some more shares on Monday morning. If I had a few million $$ in the bank I think I'd just go slapping the ask first thing Monday morning and get this stock up above two cents before anyone had a chance to know what was going on. lol. This stock needs some sort of catalyst to make it go to jumping... course, with patience that will come with the news that I'm expecting this week coming. The longer it stays down low, the closer I get to joining the million share club..

FINALLY! A nice GREEN number at the end of the day. Been nibbling on the money in my account seems like forever but hopefully MDNT train is pulling out of the station......chugga, chugga, chugga WHOOO!! WHOOO!!
The soil I saw was prime black topsoil that seemed to be about a foot deep covering sandy clay underneath. Perfect for building this complex on. Maybe if I go down on Friday I can ask permission from some of the construction workers to go way in the back and see if any work is being done on clearing (or construction even) of the studio?? It's all coming together nicely IMO and February is going to be the month that the train leaves the station and never comes back. Load up while you can..
How fresh of tracks do you need? It might have been that this was all rooted up with a dozer the first time I went down there and I just didn't notice it and now it's been piled up and mostly burned except for about 3 small piles. It's all been done I would think within the last month.

You need to go look thru those pictures again. Those tracks were FRESH within a couple of days or so. I might ride back down there on Friday and see if I can hear where the machines are working now. Maybe get the photos of the machines in work. That big area was NOT cleared last time I went down there. Or if it was, they had started in the back and worked towards the front. The studio/complex IS going to be built. Study those pictures...they were put in during a rush time of the day and probably were skipped over by many, but those pictures tell a tale of what's going on down there and that much clearing going on, something is soon to be built there. I'm thinking the bridge will be one of the first things to be built as it would make a HUGE impact that the company is seriously building this project. Then the housing and lastly the leaf. Of course, on another portion of this huge tract of land the studio's which are going to be rather remote could be constructed on at the same time. February is going to be the telling month. How many days until February? 2. By the end of the month I think we're all going to be looking at this stock/project in a total different way.

If this stock was at .10 a share, everyone would be best buddies right now! Folks kinda get at the end of their wire when they see a stock trading at 90 mph and getting nowhere. Kinda like that traffic in Atlanta yesterday...volumes and volumes of cars and trucks and nobody going anywhere..lol
My cart is loaded! Got a few crumbs in one other stock and all my eggs in this one basket.....I know that's probably not the best thing to do sometimes, but I just got a good feel about all the information I've seen and heard talked about in here. East Coast Hollywood is coming to EFFINGHAM GEORGIA and is going to be the envy of the nation!!

Ok...I've sold almost everything I'm invested in now to be as fully invested in this stock as possible. Won't make the million share club but won't be too far off. Not going to mortgage the farm of rent out the wife...yet! Just would like to make a tidy profit in this and I still have faith that the M train is soon to be leaving the station at full throttle....just letting off some of the skeptics and giving a few more stragglers a chance to load up before she takes off for her journey!
