Agreed! I think yesterday and today's volume and SP is a direct result of the PR released. Good news like that released frequently would knock ASFX out of the park. IMO this stock is going to explode after the TV show airs.
I love how that 140 share bid whack @ .0003 got steamrolled by asks! FAIL!
I've seen all of the PRs show up on Yahoo and Google. It just takes a little time to get there.
Makes sense. After our run up to .0007 a few days ago we should be pretty thin on the way back up IMO.
Agreed.
I'm not worried about the A/S right now. The O/S is the only thing I'm interested in at the moment and I just don't see how it could be over 600M. Plus, there might be a GOOD reason for the A/S increase and not the nefarious dilution that the "chicken littles" keep talking about.
Off to a great start! Maybe this will be our 100M @ ask day!!
If a company is doing well does that not benefit the share holders through increased demand in shares and the resultant SP increase?
Can a share holder not participate in the betterment of the company by spreading the word about the stock and the company's products?
Actually, the only thing we know is that the A/S is 2.5B and the O/S was 306,613,072 as of Dec. 31, '08.
I think first one then the other.
Agreed. Seems like these strange days are becoming more frequent.
Nope. I'm holding you to that .001 :-P
I just don't understand that. Why would someone sell at the bid when the ask is being it hard? Why give up money?
Don't understand that one.
I think it will help the stock also. Investors who see interest in a great product will want to invest in the company that distributes it. Plus, I of think ASFX as a tightly wound spring, any news can help the SP pop... just needs a little push.
This is going to be HUGE!!
Well, you are partially right. Obviously there has been dilution but words like "significantly" are relative and as of yet undefined. Until we see an actual share structure from ASFX we won't know just how significant it is.
You're right... Thermofocus was announced Aug. '06. I was thinking about the clinical study release in Jul. '08.
Agreed.. except that they have introduced new product lines since then. The Wee Target, Mommy Recorder that I know of came out after June '08. That offers even more value IMO. Didn't the Thermofocus come out after June also?
That IS typical with any relations person. I would think that if Ron is getting paid in shares he would want the stock to do well and not be so tight lipped. To me his silence lends a bit of credibility.
What is your take on the lack of released information with ASFX? Most pinks flood the newswire with fluffy PR. Actually, if ASFX did that, I would be concerned.
This board is definitely not a free flowing conversation.
I don't even want to think of a R/S at this stage in the game or at this SP. Maybe when the PRs start rolling out and we lose a couple 00s of the SP.
If the OS is not anywhere near the 2.5B AS (as we assume it currently is not based on trade volume) can't ASFX just file for an AS reduction without affecting the OS?
If in fact that the AS was increased for a merge or JV, what happens to the share structure? Would we get shares of the merging company? Is a R/S required?
Just asking... TYIA
Good morning all. Finally the weekend is over and the fun can begin!
*APPLAUD*
That is your opinion and although you have a right to it, I find that it is incorrect based on the facts available. I have read all filings and done my own DD on this company and I believe that the information available paints a different picture than the incorrect and negative picture portrayed.
ASFX was not taken to court as ASFX was the PLAINTIFF. The manufacturer was the DEFENDANT. This has been settled and based on the PR regarding it, was beneficial for both parties. This could very well mean that a joint venture has been established between the two hence the increased A/S. I have no proof of this, however, it would fit nicely into what we have witnessed over the past two months and would make perfect business sense.
Their debt is negligible and can be very easily negotiated to different terms (if it even still exists). If in fact a JV has been established with Tecnimed then this issue also disappears.
The New Paltz property is theirs to sell and is a non-issue to the investors of ASFX. The sale of this property could serve as an influx of revenue for ASFX if the officers so decide to use it in that manner.
Agreed. The O/S might be lower than we think!
Agreed. Why would they even bother to pay for an audit and filing if they didn't have something beneficial in mind for the company. The bottom line for investors is that ASFX is a fledgling company that is pursuing growth venues. NOW is the time to invest and enjoy the ride up.
Nice grab!!
Great time for you and everyone else to buy! Get in while you can because this low SP won't be around much longer. UP from here!!
They DID release a PR for the 4th quarter and it was very positive with yet another quarter of increased sales.

Kidz-Med Inc. Experiences Increase in Sales at Pharmacy Retail Level, Kidz-Med Thermofocus 5-in-1 Debuts on "Fox & Friends"
WESTON, Fla., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Scientific Resources (ASFX) today announced that pharmacy retail sales alone increased by 38% in the 4th quarter of 2008 compared to the 4th quarter of 2007. The health and safety products company reports that despite the economic recession, since implementing particular offline and online marketing communications and PR strategies, the company's subsidiary, Kidz-Med, has seen a marked increase in sales of the Thermofocus(R) 5-in-1 non-contact thermometer being distributed through one of their pharmacy retail vendors.
Dr. Christopher F. Tirotta, MD, MBA, CEO of American Scientific Resources states, "The Kidz-Med Thermofocus has been available in stores nationwide at the retail pharmacy level since the fall of 2007, and to see such fantastic results is certainly an achievement given in-store promotion was not a contributing sales factor during the fourth quarter of 2008."
He continues, "I am also pleased to report on an additional triumph of which retail pharmacy sales alone more than doubled from November of 2008 to December of 2008. December sales at the retail pharmacy level totaled $104,100 and November sales totaled $51,240."
Management remains optimistic of the trend in sales and marketing for its health and safety product lines and expects to continue implementing the current strategies (Q4 2008 retail pharmacy sales alone totaled $196,560 compared to Q4 2007 retail pharmacy sales which totaled $142,440).
The Company's mission is to search the globe for innovative health and safety products not yet available in the American market and introduce, distribute and market them in North America. The health and safety products specialist already distributes several products throughout the United States. (A corporate profile is available at AudioStocks.com).
Thermofocus 5-in-1, the Company's flagship health and safety product (pictured here), allows parents and doctors to measure the temperature of infants or sick, combative toddlers in a safe, non-invasive, non-threatening way. Because the product works so quickly -- in seconds, not minutes as with other thermometers -- and it does not have contact with the skin, the Company believes the product will gain widespread acceptance in North America, just as it already has in the UK, Europe and Asia.
As U.S. distributor for the Thermofocus 5-in-1, the Company has already placed the health product at approximately 6,500 Walgreens stores and at various nationwide stores through the largest retail toy and baby products chain in the world.
"Our online and offline strategies have proved advantageous, therefore, management has high hopes of achieving much more success in the future," says Dr. Tirotta.
Kidz-Med Thermofocus 5-in-1 debuts on "Fox & Friends", Time Change

The Thermofocus 5-in-1 amazed broadcasters, and national child safety expert, Alison Rhodes, who endorses the Thermofocus 5-in-1 as one of the "Great Safety Innovations in 2009" on Safetymom.com.

Excellent post! Agree 100%
Agreed. Looks like flippers to me.
Slaz.. I agree. I think a lot of people (myself included) missed out on a great buying opportunity when the SP was in the .0003 and brief .0002 period due to false and unfounded negative information posted by just a select few. However, the reality of it is that at the current SP this is still a great buy and the majority of those that missed out would have just flipped around this current SP anyway.
Hopefully, potential investors will see the negativity for what it is and ignore it. The large majority on this board know that this is a great buy opportunity and personally I will continue to buy at these levels as funds free up.
I agree. I think the valuation should be slightly above that if the O/S is around 500M as we suspect it will be.
I didn't hit them hard... others have though. I'm fully loaded right now but I'll buy more if funds free up. I think this is a good entry point IMHO.
Welcome back!
Thanks for that info. Yeah the 5s were pretty much gone yesterday but a few lucky people managed to score a few today. People have been hitting the 6s hard so those should be gone shortly... I'm thinking tomorrow.
Very nice. We HAVE to be getting close to breaking through these 6s. I'm surprised the Bid/Ask didn't adjust on that buy.
Agreed! Personally, I would rather see a steady up trend with depth than a sudden thin spike.
