I just checked IBXG and they're basically back down to our level.
So much for the rumors...
As Homer Simpson would say:
"I like those odds."
Thanks, buzzbomb. There's some solid people on this board and my one hope is that I can get in at a good spot this week.
Same here, Soldier.
Excitement seems to be brewing all around.
There's a good chance I may visit it when I go home. I'll be there for a few weeks over Christmas.
But as of right now, they sound like they really got it together.
Bordering on Detroit, south of Birmingham and Troy where these guys are stationed. And several friends in those towns as well.
As for research, Soldier I just meant websites, past PR's, information I've found online that all of you have probably known for awhile.
Like I said, I'm new here but I'm really feeling some seriously good vibes about where they're headed.
A certain "butterfly-themed" staffing firm.
I really like what I see here.
Thanks, Rooster. From the research I've done so far, things look quite impressive. You're right, patents are usually good and the merger sounds promising.
Will probably get in this week. Might even visit their office when I go home for the holidays.
I thought the party over there was jammin' but this is a whole other ballgame.
And everyone here seems really cool so far, except for maybe "Scary Punctuation-Phobia Guy."
Rock on...
Sounds good to me.
Well, well, well. Look who's hangin' around another part of town. And I see Rooster's been visiting this farm as well.
This just caught my attention so I'll be keeping an eye on it for awhile. And looks like it's located not far from where I grew up so it's like a little piece of home.
Don't know too much about it yet so if you guys were willing to give me the condensed version that'd be very appreciated. Another potential reverse merger here or have those talks stalled?
Once again, just checking things out. Nothin' serious...
Great call, Renee. So how are you feeling about this...still confidant?
I'm staying upbeat and holding strong. It'll be interesting to see what they've got planned.
Evening, John.
When will the hemorrhaging stop?
We've all seen cases of the phenomenal effect a reverse merger can have on a shell company but in your research, has anyone witnessed a scenario where a stock that's gone dark emerged back into the light stronger than ever? If we can find some, that might help put alot of investors at ease.
I still can't figure out why anyone would do this voluntarily. You usually fight to avoid delisting.
Anyone's take on this would be appreciated.
william2112, great to have you back! I sincerely enjoyed reading your posts even though I didn't always understand them because they were kind of mysterious.
They'd usually go something like this:
"Excellent research...but you're barking up the wrong tree, eh?:)...go back and look at the April 2004 filing...when Mercury was in retrograde...that is the chimpanzee you should be slapping, eh?;)"
HaHa! That rules! I love how he recorded sexy voicemails on the phone that was issued to him by the city! Those weren't gonna come back and haunt him!
To make this a little less off-topic...
Go MSTF!!!
control it, you're from Michigan? I'm from Detroit -- born and raised! But now I'm near L.A.
Represent, Beee-ooootch!!!
Apologies for that little outburst. I have brought shame upon myself and will never say that again...
Hi Dave, not sure what is going on either. Hopefully it's positive news but if there's one thing we've learned from this stock is that predictions do us no good...
Especially Shane's.
Great point. The hope is something will happen that finally stops them from playin' us like a fiddle or this game could go on forever.
The problem is, if there's apparently not a whole lot of "rules" in our government or mainstream corporations (at least the rules don't seem to apply to them), who's bothering to regulate the wasteland known as the OTC?
These next few weeks will be crucial.
Good night, Soldier...
Great post, AJ. If they don't convert past .001 that could be a sign the tide is turning.
It was more like a tasty gizzard.
We need the apocalypse!!!
Please make it soon...
All very gifted people we should be proud to have running the show.
Now, if any of them are reading this board...
THROW US A BONE!!! (And be sure to wrap it in great news.)
I know, it's David Walters.
To his credit, his record has been extremely impressive. Time will tell if he's able to work some of that magic with this company and lead us to one of the greatest success stories of the year.
Exactly...and a fine example of how well Congress has been known to handle business dealings.
Let's keep our fingers crossed for a happy outcome to all this. We've definitely earned it...
If they do, Soldier we'll all be celebrating big time!
I've heard of Mimi Walters, have you heard of Ted Stevens?
Thanks, Soldier. I'm holding steady, too -- just wish we knew something, anything at all.
The problem is the longer they drag this out, the longer the vultures will continue to pick at our livers like we're Prometheus chained to a rock. You seem like a guy they somewhat trust. Any chance you could get an answer to one simple question in your next email:
"Are we going to remain stagnant or should we be seriously upbeat for what lies ahead?"
They went dark a long time ago -- let's hope they got one hell of an ace up their sleeve.
Good luck to everyone...
YoungMillionaire, I'd like to see it go up...even a little at a time...and be able to hold those gains.
I know they've put out three positive PR's recently and every time they do, it goes up about 60% and we're all like, "Hooray! Let's purchase Borneo and bathe in Corona!" But then ten minutes passes and the MM genies arrive on the scene and wave their mighty hands, magically "converting" something into something (no one's completely sure what) and plunging the price back down to .0003 where it remains for another month and a half.
Trust me, I'm still a believer and I've seen these pinky stocks go from triple zeroes to .80 and beyond fairly quickly. It'd just be nice if they could communicate something a little more substantial and put us at ease.
Same here, Vulcan. Well actually March...just days before everyone was proclaiming "Better get in now! Big announcement coming! If you don't buy now, you'll miss the boat and you'll never be able to get this stock at these astronomically low prices of .005 again!"
And that exciting revelation was...
"We're goin' dark."
I'm still keeping the faith (at this point, we have no choice.) No one wants to see this succeed more than I do. We just need them to show us some real progress.
If Fridays have always been so good to us, why are we still stuck at .0004?
What we need is something concrete from this company letting us know for a fact there's light at the end of the tunnel.
We've been more than patient...
Make it stop...please make it stop. This is not even cool...
We got mikronn fired up and talkin'! That can only be good...
We get positive news that proves we'll be around for years to come and we still can't get out of triple zeroes?!
If the douchebags holding this down would just kill themselves life would be so much better.
For those of us who have been in this stock for nearly a year (in some cases more) and have a considerable amount invested, let's hope and pray the days of this being hammered down with a mallet on a daily basis are almost over and the people involved have a legitimate plan to get things moving.
"But it's a great opportunity to pick up some more cheapies!"
No, it's annoying. That stopped being cute a long time ago...
Thanks for your words of encouragement, AJ...much appreciated.
We're up to 169 boardmarks -- how 'bout makin' it an even 170? I'm sure there's some readers out there who just haven't found the nerve to post yet. I've been in this thing since March and just started posting the other day myself.
You don't even have to talk about Monarch Staffing...you could tell us what you had for lunch. Maybe it was delicious.
The interest in this has been astounding -- let's just hope the powers that be can pull it off on their end!
I thought I had read somewhere one of the guys connected to Monarch Staffing was somehow involved with Activision in the past -- just a little billion-dollar videogame company some of you may have heard of.
Just a testament to the quality of people behind this little jewel that's been simmering for quite some time.
Can a jewel even simmer? I don't care -- just wanna see them launch this baby into the stratosphere!
Would a baby appreciate being hurled into orbit? I'll just shut up now...
Dave, after what you went through a few years ago I hope this one more than makes up for that bad experience.
Time will tell but at this point we'll all hope for one of those phenomenal success stories that we can say we were in right when it happened as opposed to fighting for a piece of the action once the big news hits. If this goes well, every day will be "Labor Day" -- without that annoying "labor" part.
All the best to you this holiday weekend...
No problem, Dave. It's always good to keep in mind we're in "Pinkieland" -- or as I like to call it, "The Forbidden Zone." People always talk about filings and deadlines but let's be honest -- they make their own rules here.
I've just been extremely encouraged by some insane performances on the OTC. You can hold IBM for an entire year and you'll be lucky if you go up 3 percent but I've seen some pinksheet stocks go from .0001 to .28 in a matter of weeks -- and those were companies with no one particularly impressive behind the scenes.
At least with this stock, we can take comfort with the reputable team they've put together. Beyond that, I'm just as anxious to see how this plays out as everyone else.
Regarding the reverse merger thoery, let me give you an idea of the potential based on what's happened with some other companies.
A recent stock involved in a reverse merger went from .0001 to .82 in a matter of days. That's a really extreme example but several others have had a similar explosion in price.
No one can say for sure what we have here yet but that's one possibility...
