What a weird day. Hope it means something good is coming. I can't tell one way or another at this point.
That post gave me a Woodrow.
Thanks, Romak. Let's hope it's what we've been waiting for...
I've been keeping the faith. If you feel good, that's a positive sign...
Soldier, you don't have to answer any specific questions but let me ask you this:
Do you feel good about it or do you feel bad?
Not the close we were hoping for but it could've been worse.
A PR clarifying that the merger is still on track could definitely get us back on track.
Looks like conversions may be done -- and apparently all trading in general.
They need to give investors something they've never given them before:
A legitimate reason to buy.
Today was discouraging to say the least but the right announcement can change everything in a heartbeat, then all the haters will be back on board and news will hopefully spread like wildfire to other investors.
Obviously it's impossible to know if they actually have this ace up their sleeve but if we're extremely lucky and they do, this lousy day may quickly be forgotten.
Nobody knows. Would be real nice if they'd tell us something but they don't seem to be responding.
All we can do at this point is wait and see. Good news could still be on the way...
Nice green close. Hopefully a preview of what's to come...
How can I sell my position, Shane?! There aren't any buyers! Nobody wants this disaster -- not even for .0001!
And I'll stop my mewling if you stop your predicting. You haven't been right once...
I don't know. I don't care. I just hope they have a plan.
The market really took a toll on MSTF today -- no wait a minute, it had no effect because nothing ever happens with this stock.
No one sold today because it would've just left them with nothing and no one bought today because the company never gives anyone a legitimate reason to do that.
Maybe they'll have it together by 2010...or not.
God I hope they read these posts...
That sounds like it should be the world's luckiest number but today it kinda sucked...
Today would've been the worst possible day to release news with everything going to hell. Let things calm down a little and maybe we'll hear something this week.
Glad I was able to send a little cheer your way.
Know what will bring even more joy? Some killer news this week...
Congress just approved a $25 billion bailout for the auto industry.
Nice post. I'll definitely be reading it.
GLTA
Great finish, everyone! See ya on Monday...
Not just any Friday. Could be really exciting next week...
IMO
Thanks, Zooman. Good luck to you...
Perhaps a green paint job at close?
"Oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, green paint jobs..."
I can completely understand why there hasn't been a lot of selling -- most people here are probably holding tight in anticipation of news. But I'm surprised there isn't more buying with the potential for announcements coming soon and some major attention from other boards.
I never said I didn't believe in them for the big boards but the OTC is a whole other thing.
And even in those cases a chart could show something significant one day but the next morning a major PR would change all that anyway.
That actually makes sense.
Let's see where this one takes us -- hopefully to the moon...
If you're looking for any logic or predictability in pinkyland (or our lovely economy for that matter) it doesn't exist.
There have only been a few sure bets in this market such as, "We're going into Iraq -- better buy Haliburton!"
I've said this before and I'll say it again:
Charts are essentially useless especially when it comes to penny stocks! It's news from the company that will get something like this moving and with any luck, that'll be coming next week.
Charts might look fancy and make people feel smart by believing there's some level of science involved but the "reverse double candlestick with a spatula pointing up a giraffe's ass" are about as accurate in making predictions as a crystal ball.
We need news and there's no way they're gonna announce anything on a Friday so let's try to have a relaxing weekend and see what Monday brings.
All in my most humble of opinions...
This is getting ridiculous. They need to tell us something.
Not to mention, if they did release a PR today we'd have the honor of the first prediction by Shane that actually came true.
That's around what mine is, too. Maybe even not that good. But at this point, I'd be thrilled to see us back in that range again...
Gapper, so you're saying we may not be screwed after all and there's still a chance for a glorious outcome?
Right on, brother. How's the weather a half hour away?
The next few days will most definitely be interesting.
Not me, that's for sure...
Hey aliangel, there's a good possibility you may have nailed it.
Can't wait to see what happens over the next few days...
Pizzabuster, I'm on a free account so I'm unable to respond. What was your question again?
Welcome...best of luck to you.
On our way up again...
Couldn't have said it better myself.
Good luck to all of us...
Mack, you deserve mad props for that -- very clever, my friend!
I actually wrote my own top ten. Here's a taste:
7. You find yourself taking advice from guys named "Shane."
I finally figured out why David Letterman is up there. He's saying, "I'm holding in my hand a copy of tonight's Top Ten List."
"The top ten reasons you know you're trapped in a shell..."
