It amuses me...hometown current theme song
Muddy Waters and the Band. This one didn't make the film, but it should have.
Great set S7! So many great songs by Sir Elton. I am partial to Tumbleweed Connection.
Frankie goes to...This Town

My favorite Bob cover
Most of Bob is behind the copyright curtain I think. Van Morrison was in exile a few years ago for quite a while. Thank god that was lifted.
Dr. J - Such a Night
Excellent...what a song. Thanks!

You got a hubcap Diamond star halo
It's alive, it's alive
Must Focus
Well, she was an American girl
They just seem a little weird
THE THE are pleased to announce details of the release of the Soul Mining 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition Boxset, a re-mastered, re-packed and expanded version of their major label debut album, Soul Mining, on Monday June 30th.
Great album.
Good one. My favorite version is from Live 1975 Bootleg Series. Dylan has been wiped from youtube and the rest. Can't find anything right now.
That's right! Big Bob's birthday tomorrow too, 73.
I love how in 62/63 rock 'n roll transitions from a hit singles and live recording free for all to by the time we get to 1965 a more structured album focus.
A mixed blessing imo as we move just a bit from the unbridled creative and impulsive energy of early rock 'n roll and tip ever so slightly toward the more packaged, polished, marketed side with albums.
But holy crap...Highway 61 and Bringing It All Back Home in the same year!

This song deserves max volume. Heaven help the poor passenger in my car when this comes on.
Another gem...music not bad either. Seriously...love that album. Saw Joe many times. Saw the Big World tour for sure.
Wow, I missed this all together. That is really good with Mike Peters. Nice.
Wynona's Big Brown you know what
She said wait a minute honey I'm gonna add it up
Good one
It was one of those great little mini ages of memorable music for me. Of course, I think I was under the influence of a certain type of female singer...cool and distant this time.
Same time period was listening to Maria McKee and Lone Justice. Heard this today on Underground Garage.
