That's absolutely true, William but my point is if we sell right now, we have almost nothing. If they reverse split into oblivion, we really have nothing.
I promise you, nobody wants them to pull some magic trick out of their ass and shoot up to the pennies more than me. If they would just hint that there's some kind of light at the end of the tunnel, a huge number of us could sleep a whole lot easier. They really haven't done that.
Let's all just pray they truly do have some kind of plan...
Mack, that sounds great in thoery but the PR's haven't done anything but drive us down to the lowest point we can physically get.
Someone once claimed one of the selling points of this company was that "Pham once introduced John McCain!"
That actually makes a lot of sense -- McCain doesn't seem to know much about economics either.
William, that's completely true about all the interesting things happening right now but how am I supposed to make a move elsewhere if I'm stuck in this worthless trainwreck?
Nobody say it -- I can already hear the choir:
"So why don't you just sell?"
Why? So I can buy a Quarter Pounder With Cheese?!
Actually, scratch that. It wouldn't leave me with enough for the cheese.
Bobby, your two cents was incredibly welcome right now.
That's good enough for me and all that probably needs to be said right now.
We should just relax and wait it out. I wouldn't have released anything before Germany either. Could be really positive...
I wasn't fooled. They never announce shit...
Don't fear the punctuation! It is there to help us!
Not a bad idea...
If anyone here is looking for any trace of rhyme, reason or rules in the financial markets (or our government for that matter) you're gonna be utterly disappointed.
This is the Wild West -- especially when it comes to the pinksheets.
"But they can't do that...it ain't right!"
Yes they can. Why? Because they don't give a shit.
I've seen some crazy stuff in this market. One OTC energy company was left for dead at .0001 but released a PR stating that if they retrieved all the oil from their fields the stock would be worth well into the dollars. Suddenly it shot to .28. Maybe it didn't stay there but the hype was enough.
This company has some interesting patents and products that any number of larger companies could exploit on a global scale. No one can even attempt to predict the outcome but stranger things have happened.
If the RM does go through, it'll change everything overnight.
Obviously, nothing is guaranteed but similar deals have taken some companies from .0001 to well into the pennies in a matter of days.
It's rare but it happens...
Thanks, aliangel. These are indeed strange days so some panic selling is to be expected.
On the bright side, investors might be looking for bargain stocks like this one with potentially large gains as opposed to the chaos of the big boards.
Take care...
That's a good point but keep in mind when someone "believes" information is ready to be released to the public or all the details are worked out is totally relative. It's not like the authorites are gonna come knocking on the door of a company like this after an announcement and say, "You knew about this alot sooner."
They probably have some knowledge of good news but are holding back for any number of reasons. That thoery someone mentioned about restricted shares being released after a certain date is a good one and even the extra shares added recently aren't that much when you look at the rest of pinkyland.
The bottom line is, we closed flat on one of the worst days in market history and everyone's mood can change at the drop of a hat with the right piece of news -- which hopefully shouldn't take too much longer.
I'm sure they probably work well for legitimate companies but for something like this, all bets are off.
I just hope they have some kind of plan and this can still be saved.
If we can't make a buck off this at least we can try to get a laugh.
Good luck to you...looks like we may need it!
Keep in mind that next week is that big event in Germany. That could coordinate with the release of any major announcements, especially if things go well at the conference.
This should be going up. The chart shows a double corkscrew followed by a Scandinavian alligator with its tail pointing north, signaling an upward trend and a bullish market, provided Mercury remains in retrograde...
Was that helpful? Probably not. Because it never is.
I don't think that's intentional but it might be happening on its own.
Woogieboogiedance, your predictions aren't helpful. We have no idea what will happen at this point...all we can do is wait for the company and their outlook appears upbeat.
And you might want to consider a name change -- it sounds a lot like Chewbacca's gay cousin.
I have no idea what's going on behind the scenes -- maybe they have some incredibly awesome plan. But with the economy tanking, financial institutions crumbling and a failed administration, they no longer have the luxury of waiting.
It'd be nice if they'd actually tell us something. And I don't mean like signing a deal to toss a few tablets of Xanax at some prisoners -- something legit.
At least MSTF was able to hold its own and even rise during the bloodbath on Wall Street today.
Although .0003 is nothing to be happy about...
I'm here because all the pieces involved remind me of similar plays (that I was not in at the time unfortunately.)
One went from .0001 to .28 in a very short time. Another, also at .0001, shot to around .80 -- not a bad haul, granted you had them.
There was this other OTC stock that went from .01 to 2.24 as a result of its patents.
Time will tell but I feel upbeat.
As for the train engineer, so much for hands-free devices!
Good luck to you, neighbor...
Thank you for your insight -- always delivered with class.
I guess no one will know for sure until they're ready. Maybe all our patience will eventually pay off.
Take care...
I'm just north of the Valley. I read about the missed light but the texting...that really sucks.
William, you seem to have a pretty good grasp on these things. In your opinion, do you believe something really positive is coming or are we dead in the water?
More specifically, do you feel they expected this to hit triple zeroes when they decided to "go dark" and therefore aren't too concerned or do you think this was a shock to them and they're panicking as much as we are?
Surfsup, where do you live? That train accident wasn't that far from me.
That could be very promising.
The fact he said "better than expected" is a real good sign but trying to make predictions regarding time is essentially useless.
Well said. I'd like to do the same.
You're right. Any of these success stories can only be encouraging.
Now that's what you call a sweet run.
Will the future hold something similar or even better for us? I'm sure we'll find out soon enough...
What a totally insane roller coaster today -- at least we're up..well I am, anyway.
I could be wrong but I can't see them releasing news on a Thusrday or Friday -- it'd be to everyone's advantage to do it at the beginning of the week.
It's also my thoery that they may wait til closer to the end of the month to coincide with those major events that are happening.
That nurse is smiling because she knows she's made all of us her bitch!
I wanna thank you, Wallstreetman for putting the important parts in bold letters for those of us with no attention span.
Your efforts are not in vain...
Well at least I'm in now!
I just checked IBXG and they're basically back down to our level.
So much for the rumors...
As Homer Simpson would say:
"I like those odds."
Thanks, buzzbomb. There's some solid people on this board and my one hope is that I can get in at a good spot this week.
Same here, Soldier.
Excitement seems to be brewing all around.
There's a good chance I may visit it when I go home. I'll be there for a few weeks over Christmas.
But as of right now, they sound like they really got it together.
