Yes, holding pps quite well after RS w/o much additional news. Hopefully real soon it will do a lot better than maintain.
Great stuff in the news today-world-wide licensing agreement with Neogenomics!!
Thanks, JJ, for the very informative post. Hope you have a relaxing weekend. Maybe next week we can get out of some of these doldrums.
Thanks for your opinion JJ - noted
Thanks.
Yeah, they're gearing it up big time. Seems like the first LLC acquired was to make final labeling tweaks to Genstrips reqd by the FDA. I'm sure she'll be doing other products down the road as well. Do you know if they ever hired the 6 positions advertised last fall?
I am not surprised they've underestimated revenues. Yet even using those previous numbers, this will be a world beater! All IMO
By "research done by the competition" are you referring to J&J primarily?
KSV, the co has lots going on, but re. Genstrips, I like one statement from the latest 10Q:
"Management is confident that there is a very large market available for Genstrip, which on its first day of commercial availability, will be by far the company's largest selling product."
This will fly with only 8M OS, and under 6M float. Then the growth of the Genstrips market, plus the other endeavors, will make this a very sweet investment indeed over the next several years!
News...looks like a good year for Viking, but a disappointing quarter re. sales.
You may be right; however, it could have a good run left if they're selling rights to Sera Pro, depending on what they can fetch on the market. We may know this quarter, IMO.
Glad to see your divvy hit the books-this is just the next step in building a great company JIMO. Lots of irons in the fire, and hopefully positive news soon. I've watched and supported this company for 3 years, have great respect for management and their abilities, and look forward to a good 2012.
not yet in either of 2 accounts
I think we'll get a PR on Thurs. They tend to release Qtrly estimates a month ahead on Tues or Thurs.
bharvey, thanks for the fact-based information re. Positron, their progress and Patrick Rooney. Your "big picture" view is extremely helpful, and I find especially relevant your personal experience with Mr. Rooney. I'm not pointing fingers at any one person, but way too many on this and other message boards get caught up (or precipitate) in a feeding frenzy of fear and negativism that is based on heresay and opinion without considering the facts. Nice to have your post in contrast. IMO, great things ahead for those who wait!
KS, what do you mean a lawsuit they lost on all counts? They just filed in September and these things take time, as the latest Q states.
You don't know what you're talking about-ZERO dilution here, reasonable OS, and much good news on the way as per recent co news. I see you're making the rounds with your factless bashing, here, POSC, etc etc...Maybe you just want shares cheaper?? This is a great co IMO and 2012 should be a breakout year!!
Who are you kidding? Their product is taking time to roll out, but it's on the cutting edge of surgery for the future. And the float is really reasonable for a company that's been a penny for this long. Get ready for great things in 2012!
Yes, it could come at any time-hopefully real soon. With it tied up at FDA, however, who knows????
They're building the business, and that's good; however, until there's FDA approval for Genstrips, I think we're in a holding pattern at best-IMO. I guess time will tell.
Penny, I read the article-sounds like you have an axe to grind (losing $22k can do that to you :), esp when the main support the article gives is from Tim Sykes-yikes! Also, no mention of future jobs this type of business will generate in the community from supporting businesses for this industry, growth of the company beyond current projections, etc, etc. There's lots to be upbeat about-the article brings none of that up.
You may be right re. paying a much higher pps. If it moves much at all, it could go real fast.
Buying may pick up by the 20th. Hopefully more good news around that time + the divvy. The business is building.
I believe the post split price was .21
Excellent-10% divvy, reduced AS, and M&A to close hopefully by year's end! Great news with hopefully more to come soon!!
Budax, you are correct. Look up "wash sales" for details.
ie. Made with more than 1M sh post split?
Vinovista, thanks for the share update. You are correct, this thing could scream in a hurry with the low OS count and float.
Thx Senderos. I like this part on their website:
About Our Members
Healthcare providers of all sizes partner with Amerinet to improve their operating margins. More than 2,500 acute care and 38,500 alternate care health systems take advantage of Amerinet's network of solutions.
Positron Awarded 3 year purchasing agreement with Amerinet for PosiRX beginning Jan 1, 2012 (just came across the wire in my Schwab account. Sorry, I can't copy and paste it.) Rooney continues to deliver!
If you look at the sticky note you posted (Walling's Jan letter), it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that a $15M operating profit (conservative and for a partial year) with less than 10M OS sends us to the multi dollar range real fast.
I have trouble believing we would be at this point without something imminent about to happen, like FDA approval. Once that happens with less than 10M OS, look out!
7100 sh traded B/A is .11/.30 last .15
FWC, you said,
"Do you really think that big corporations are going to be spending money now? Heck no. It's all about conserving money now."
WRONG- major cos. are loaded with cash and looking for places to invest it-no better place than with cutting edge companies like this one.
"There is NOTHING about POSC that indicates they will survive beyond the next 1-2 years." Virtually everything they have been doing for the past year points to the fact that POSC will be a MAJOR player in the industry down the road. Read the last PR w/ the City of Noblesville and accompanying PP presentation to see how much they have put in place to be successful.
"I have been burned by POSC and got out when it was $0.08." So you rolled the dice and lost. Many of us are waiting patiently for the plan to come to fruition which will take some time. All IMO.
I said "at least" $27M. I'm sure Pat will run the number much higher.
The cyclotron is worth at least $27M as per the agreement with the city
Good, I agree, and well said. With the schedule laid out in the global agreement with the City, more and significant news is forthcoming in the not too distant future. That should shake some of those who have been playing games with this stock, and further bolster the believers (longs) in this company. IMO, good times are coming. GLTU
Thanks for your great work, Jeremy. Good times ahead...
I think you've made a great decision to buy now-it's tough to get in exactly at the bottom. Getting in is the key. I don't really care short-term what the pps does. I'm looking down the road quite a bit, so I'm not concerned about those that want to "sell the news." If the co. keeps executing, even $.04 is a steal. All IMO
rick, great job and thanks for posting the resolution. It sheds lots of light on how far along and how broad this agreement is with the City, State, & Feds, as well as private investors. Substantial completion of everything and operational by March of 2014!
You and JJ especially have been tremendous all along stating the facts and the potential for POSC. I've been observing this mb since I bought in a while back, and have made some additional purchases along the way. I decided to post to thank you two, but also all those who shed light on this company's potential and execution. IMO, it's still a ways off, but good times are coming! Thanks for standing firm in your positions and convictions re. POSC. You've kept me, and I'm sure many others, engaged along the way!
