That's the cap & trade this administration/congress has discussed.
Your thoughts here are even more valid, as I had the response the below response from IR. Notice my bolded statement from IR which is now, through your DD, REALLY INTRIGUING!!!!!!!!!
Specifically, my question was as to long term contracts with a company like Stericycle, and whether or not hospitals sign long-term service contracts with any penalties, etc.
I checked with management, and what I’ve learned is as follows.
Most, if not all, agreements favor the hospital and are not very restrictive. MedClean has never run into a situation where they are contractually locked out of a potential customer. If they have an ROI that is compelling, the hospital can adjust. For example, they can allow their current vendor to handle oncology or surgical waste, while MedClean handles red bag waste. There are no minimums in the contracts, so such an arrangement would not violate any agreements. Also, there have never been any “stiff penalties.” So again, to summarize, this has never been an issue for MedClean in any negotiation or agreement. Perhaps that will change in the future, but it hasn’t happened thus far. As you probably know, this industry has historically been dominated by one large player and a number of mom-and-pop players. If MedClean gains traction, that will change, and I’m sure the market leader will have a response. At the end of the day, it will come down to who has the best solution, and moreover, who can provide the best solution (from a convenience, compliance, financial and environmental perspective) to customers.
I hope this helps.

If that were true, which obviously we're not saying it is FACT, we're sitting on a rocket headed straight to the moon!
That was what I was getting at. Not a specific mention of MCLN persay, but something alluding to RMW handling.
It would be sweet and if so, with all eyes on the sidelines or holding, it could be the news we need to bust through .023-.025 on the close.
monday at 7am is going to be an interesting time...
Can't wait to read the earnings disclosure from MedAssets to see if anything is mentioned in there about RMW service expansion to their customers.
This is the standard, canned response. I got the same reply from Jeff too.
Guys, nothing will happen until earnings are released. Until then, we'll oscillate between .025 and .018. JMHO
At what particular point do you think freedom of speech on a message board that is not rooted in DD deserves to be wiped out? I mean seriously, that's the goal of a message board is to collaborate intelligent thoughts.
'Someone knows something, Ladies.' and 'Dusting off divorce papers.' are examples of something I wouldn't want to read in a message board (where DD should be discussed) or in a newspaper (cause get this, it ain't news!!!).
That's the last I'll say about this.
This should be a cardinal rule on any message board and enforced by moderators...
If you don't bring anything but nebulous statements that have no root in DD of any sort, and continually post nonsense, you should be banned...permanently.
I'm all for DD...both positive and negative, if it has any bearing on helping the readers evaluate the investment. End of story.
Dannol, how can you tell when the short volume has not been closed? When it hits the reg sho buy in list?
Amigo, For the naked shorting link you posted yesterday, are those FTD's each day, or total FTDs? How can you tell the total open interest of FTDs?
Did you mean LOD?
Like smacking them in the face with earnings would do it! =)
Keep changing the date in the link. This is really going to get interesting.
Nice post mi amigo!
amigo, where can you see the naked short information?
you happy now? =)
Guys, the games are here. They're trading around my order. Those a$$es
DO IT! HURRY!
Did anyone see a 100 shares traded at 3:06 PM?
If this rate of buying continues, roughly 55M shares will be traded today. If so, I agree, earnings are close. So are big gains for those holding =)
I personally think that when earnings are released, this is going to gap - and not close. It'll be gone.
That's great! Does that mean you will leave this board after you are out?
This wreaks of a bid whack...
It would be poor management, IMO, if they released a positive earnings PR after the close.
Tuesday at 8:30, however, would be a molotov cocktail... =)
Did I just see 500k in shares whiz by?
Who's the joke?
I have a feeling .021 is a 'bus stop' on the way to a HOD close. Just a lil volume please. Anyone, anyone?
2/3/4 EMAs have crossed
2/5/10 are getting close
MACD has finally crisscrossed
A little volume, and it's go time!
Sell all $25 that you have and go buy some candy ;)
I stand corrected.
I think you missed my message. They aren't naked shorting again at the levels they were that produced the run to .076.
There's no shares to trade, it appears, until news. Hence the extremely low volume.
I've read through those and I concur with dannol48's assumptions.
I think the new question is...
When news is released, how big is the gap up?
This no trading for 30-45 minutes, coupled with low volume says to me that the day traders are long gone, the .017-.02 range is the absolute bottom and this will only move on news. The real investors know what they have and are holding, and I believe all 'funny business' with this stock is gone, except for some small dabbling to try to get a rally going south.
To prove my point, check out the FTD list from beginning of January. From my previous posts, I had posted FTD info from the end of November, and a 170M+ shares were FTDs. Now? 429,367 FTDs
The smart money knows not to be on the wrong side of this one when news is out.

glad i was wrong.
anyone care to bet we get whacked at the close?
Personally, I don't think so. The MedAssets contract along with the revised pricing structure, the elimination of further dilution and the quote from the Biomed report from Laky, the President, indicating they were 'running at full bandwidth and actively making changes to accomodate more orders', plus the 14-30x earnings...tees up a 20 bagger quite nicely. Short-term = < 1 year.
If the next 2 quarters blow the doors off expectations, which I think they will, then .40 is childs play come Christmas 2010.
This stock has everything going for it, superior management, a major distribution contract (MedAssets) and throw in dannol48's DD on EPA guidelines...
I like my 'chances', if you want to term it as such.
I think biomed does a pretty good job if you understand their system. If you are a member, you would be in and out of RNN the last 2 days, in around .72 and out now for a nice, fast gain.
This one, however, is all fundamentals and patience will pay off IMO...big time!
I'm aware of that, thank you.
You should read your profile and consider your own advice.
Funny how when someone on this board is all bullish, it shortly thereafter does a reversal...on small trades like this.
You bashers want to keep this pricing where it is, that's fine by me. I bought another 100k today, and plan to keep loading as I liquidate other positions.
with a whisper of news...this sucker is off to the races.
That 5M in salaries was about as bright as the 350k short shares preventing the stock from running.
This post is a remedial joke.
