I really don't know if it is Frank, but I have heard him before and this is a dead ringer.
5000:1 r/s then .50 --> .03 = buy point maybe.
I think I get it. Mr. Low has been lapping up Franks dumpings for weeks now, and since he has been in Taipei, the ask keeps building and building.
I DO have a buying interest, but I have not seen an entry point since .0025 - and these recent developments still don't make me a buyer.
Oh yeah, and shares restricted for 1 year while they continue to dump cash and shares into the incinerator and watch your holdings go to next to zilch. I'll watch.
ttgop, the QBID price falling does not make me a dime. I am not even in the stock. But I might consider buying it after a 5000:1 r/s and plunge to .03 - then it might be due for a bounce. And then get out before more shares get dumped.
It is true a r/s will destroy the value of current shareholders, but with 350B a/s it is bitter medicine that must be taken in order to promote future investment. A 5000:1 r/s will leave with QBID with 70M and and a .50 share price. I would expect there will be further dilution with 500M a/s and about .03 per share by the time things stabilize. I wouldn't buy any now, QBID is just a cash incinerator IMO. Wait for 5000:1 then drop from .50 to .03 post r/s.
Should be about $30, give or take. But I wouldn't do it until you are sure. Stock certificates are hard to sell, and I still hold out for at least another good selling opportunity left for some people.
tdieh03 - don't waste your money. But I am sure someone will buy it, then say they wasted their money. LOL
Thanks for all your efforts so far Bill. You have my private email should anything come up.
Pretty much, but the stock looked like a buy all the way down.
Still does, with higher risk, but risk is cheap. But when you start coming up against crooks all bets are off. If the SHC committee is successful, the common shareholders can recover on a par with the unsecured debt, but only a select few who signed the non-disclosure statement can even guess what that is.
Looks like about everything bad is priced in already. Hard for me to believe anyone would be surprised at this point. Sure took a long time for us to show the 'Q' though.
Thanks, arconway. Pnew that should be easy to fix.
Is FDA approval needed for the tissue welding procedure to be used in the United States ?
Pnew has a problem on the first page -
Fully reporting status not expected until late 2006 or 2007.
blondie, this is being pumped by Lebed. Not that its bad necessarily, just be careful. You never know when the floor might suddenly drop out on those things.
tccollins - I understand it is not a closed bid process, though rules for bidding have not been finalized. 26 potential bidders as that was the number of parties that signed non-disclosure statements and were allowed to look at WHAI books. I got this information second hand so I cannot vouch for its accuracy.
tcollins - the bid outstanding now is just the opening bid, or the Stalking Horse bid. Potential of 23 (or 26) bidders. Bidding rules to be finalized March 14. Auction to follow during the 50 days after the bid rules are finalized. This would put the end of the auction May 3 I believe. I understand bidding will be in increments of $100K, though we will know better when the bidding rules are finalized. We might now know what the current high bid is until the auction is over.
If there is a glaring error in my explanation please someone say so. This is how I understand the situation right now.
Of course something else could happen that would change things.
I'll stick an IMO here just in case. IMO.
Pfrenz - maybe, but I don't think we have ever shown up on the SHO list, FWIW. I still pretty much think the market reaction so far is normal under the circumstances. We did not have to be shorted to get to where we are at. I also believe some of what was stronger hands are now out and ownership has become somewhat fragmented.
It is interesting to see so many including the hedge fund, buy into the crash. And Jack might be squirting his panties if he really gave Peterson bad advice on WHAI, considering the Polish Mafia and everything.
Just goes to show you no matter who you are, is it tough to beat fraud. Look at who and how many got fooled with Worldcom and Enron, and for how long.
It is good also to see a push for more transparancy, including the reporting of ALL short positions, even on the Pinks. High time.
Pfrenz - maybe, but I suspect anyone who shorted from the $3+ range probably has covered by now. They aren't sitting there waiting for that last penny (literally). I tend to believe there is probably no meaningful short interest in WHAI at this time.
And a random thought relating to the class action lawsuit -
Because loss in equity was attributed to fraudulent activity, common shareholders in Worldcom during the class period were given a maximum recovery equal in percentage to that of the secured creditors.
Ah so . . . and Ginseng Lush
semi, I'm sure you meant to reply to choking-dog.
Oh yes, problem is nobody knows !!
I think they are going to carry Rush products in Japanese 7-11 stores, among other places.
I'm in, and emailed you also.
Now CC# busy, will keep trying.
I just tried CC# not available -
Nemitz, unfortunately buy and hold is now buy and mold.
It is bad to see your retirement money retire before you do. I used to work for Worldcom.
L2 is showing nothing between .0075 and .012 at the moment.
They might not put it all up in one block but thats the basic idea.
Nemitz, we have at least 20 days from the filing date until the deal closes, or for *something else* to happen. Anything positive right now can pop this thing from these levels. Even a few pennies at this point is significant. Depends on your perspective. Whoever just got those 700K shares will make $7000 for every penny we go up from here. That is the game right now.
Pfrenz, good buy, IMO. Remember to trade, buy and sell.
700K goes thru at .0066 - someone picked them up.
I have seen a 'Q' bounce before, FWIW - I think we have had a lot of time to price it in anyway. Maybe we are turning the corner at .0064 at least for now. Superman might just burst on the scene and start knocking out the bad guys.
Who knows !!
Well I hope I didn't just buy your 80K back !! ;)
Placed order for 80K at .0075, filled at .0069 - uh-oh.
Its called a dead ox in quicksand bounce - but I am still watching. I managed to get 80K shares out just before yesterdays collapse, will be trying to buy back in if it looks like I should. You know, any kind of positive news at all could make this an instant 5+ bagger from here, IMO
Good luck, 69. As bad as this is looking, there is no doubt some trading opportunities left here. In my book, I just put this down as a bad guess, so far. I don't want to sound too optimistic by saying its not over yet, but its not over yet.
Right !! And that means the financials will remain shrouded for a long, long, time. It is essential for their business plan !
GO PBLS !!
