Really strange [yes..another one] how now when you search for "reader rabbit ds" on Amazon, not only does Rogue Trooper come up, but C.O.R.E. does too now. Explain that one. I really don't like it when weird stuff like this goes on. Reader Rabbit DS doesn't show up, but Rogue Trooper and C.O.R.E. do? That's really funny and sad at the same time.

The games would have to not be discontinued for that to be even possible. Which, I've been told by GameStop that the previous ones here have been discontinued.

Then they would have to take the risk of manufacturing more old games that will be selling at a steep discount, versus putting the money into oil and gas wells, and/or into the new games.

Difference being, they are ALREADY making money. Before Christmas.

If people aren't seeing it available, and out in the stores, and BEFORE Christmas, it significantly impacts the potential here imo. Might as well wait till next Christmas.

By having Reader Rabbit out in time for a LONGER duration than a very few days [hopefully even that] for holiday sales, they could have made much more money to invest in those oil and gas wells [if they REALLY REALLY want to invest in them]. Or gold mines for that matter.

Plus they could have had multiple SKU's out at the same time for great exposure. Including a game that Mentor Interactive doesn't appear to have that goes from 1st - 2nd grade.

I dread thinking about the reputation here among consumers if all those people who pre-ordered, and expected to be able to get the game in their hands before Christmas, don't see the game when they wanted/needed it. Don't want to even think about it. You would imagine that they would tell the retailer, AFTER Christmas, thanks but no thanks.

What they do with their money is their business. But what they do with shareholder's money is another matter. Shareholders who are frustrated as to why games like Reader Rabbit don't come out before the holiday season began. And then have to see a public announcement in "unaudited" financials that they are also investing into oil and gas wells along side their company leaders.

Why not invest the $363,000 into games then?

Not as far as I remember...

I have a remedy IF [BIG if] the Thanksgiving holiday had anything to do with no sign of the game in stock a week after it was supposedly released. Don't ship them then. Ship before [novel idea?]. Actually, conspiracy theorists might think that's a built in excuse when they say they are shipping it around Thankgiving. Plus you get the benefit [if it worked] for people to think it's gonna be available Black Friday or the following Monday. Then when it doesn't, there's always that Holiday excuse.

Wonder when it will REALLY be available. Those sites posted don't look like they have Rogue at all to me. Never heard of two of three of them either. And the third I never thought to buy off of personally.

That long-standing issue along with the pathetic IR response and action (lack of) is a good example of why you are where you are, and why you will be where you be.

If it was my company and I saw that "mistake", it would have been fixed by day 7. Which was well over a month ago just for the recent round. MONTHS ago from when it started and still isn't right on C.O.R.E. and Air Conflicts (insofar as developer is concerned - and only that because SOMEONE ELSE had to fix it).

I don’t have the same perspective when it comes to the content and quality of that IR response. Even more so, as it pertains to the professional nature (or lack thereof) of that kind of an email that they send knowing it’s likely going to be posted on these boards. Boy that was bad.

C.O.R.E. and Air Conflicts show Graffiti as the publisher because I wrote to GameStop asking why it was Tri-Synergy. They would not change the developer name however. Why? Dunno...

A gamer on GameSpot got them to change both the publisher and developer on Black Sigil. From my recollection, ever since Mazes, all the games (other than Reader Rabbit - although it isn't Graffiti either) came out with Tri-Synergy as both Publisher AND Developer. And there is every indication that the company did NOTHING to change it, correct it, or explain it. And it continues..............

Not sure why this is having such a hard time being understood and hitting home. Can't mask or cover up the reality of it. All of the above was mentioned before. Not long ago either. So Tri-Synergy was the developer of these games? But they show Graffiti is the developer on their site. But Graffiti shows others are the developer. Again...I'm confused....how is this fair to the true developers? Why is it this way? And how is it fair that the shareholders have to wonder, knowing that suspect things such as this in the pinkie world do nothing to attract more people to invest (which in turn would raise the pps). Not hard to understand really..
