My Scottrade account still includes shares in IPKL. The symbol is listed in parenthesis - the MKT VAL at the far right shows $100.00 and no values are shown for last price, change, volume. I treat it as having no value.
But... this is interesting ... on both Raging Bull and Scottrade it appears that there was a trade on 10/18/2011 at price of 0.0001 for 100,000 shares. A big $10 transaction. Probably means nothing or somebody just shaking the tree to see what happens. Still somebody had a buy order out there or a market maker bought and sold a few share for fun. It does look like an actual trade since it has a date and time - time was 15:31:56 on 18 Oct.
Would you jump out or buy more if it actually started trading again and got up to 0.0005 for instance? Oh for the good old days when this issue was worth 0.001 per share. A big tenth of a cent per share. Those were the days!
The issue is toast - I don't think there's any reason to harbor hope of anything. Take loss for tax purposes and move on is my plan.
Was there ever anything to the technology? Did the Chinese reverse engineer and begin using it? Is NK selling this technology now?
