A couple of semis just pulled up with two more big tanks. But they probably leak or don't work for biodiesel...
Nothing left to talk about, so this is what it comes to!!! God help us all.
Edit: While I'm here, has anybody been able to log onto the webcam lately? I haven't seen what's happening since last week. Just curious.
Pinky - This is nothing more than market makers jacking around with the price. Basically, they're hoping to stimulate some sort of volume, and they don't care if they're buys or sells, because they make money either way. I didn't follow these two trades, but this looks suspiciously like the work of Nite. They LOVE to pull crap like this.
We're taking "No Pain, No Gain" to another level here. Thank you sir, may I have another?
I couldn't agree more!!! And for those of you new to the board, Skier doesn't BS. He reports what he sees. Just read his posts, they go from positive to negative, depending on what's happening (and how close he is to going on a rampage - just kidding by the way!!).
Great Job, Skier!!!
Man, you beat me to it!!
I like the chart!! Smooth sailing up to .015????? Hopefully.
So, so true!!
I was working some numbers (I know I shouldn't do it, but I just can't help myself). I don't know what the actual gross profit on a cyber tracker is since the financials are all over the place, but let's just assume it's around $200.00. An order of 6000 C-T's would actually generate enough gross profit to pay off all the current liabilities. Now I realize they're generating costs all the time, so this wouldn't actually do this, but I actually think an order of this size might (possibly) come their way. And the one thing the company doesn't have going against it is a lot of long-term debt.
Now I know my example may never actually happen, but things really could turn around in a hurry if they get some DAMN SALES!!!!!!
Ok, now I'm actually done. Back to bottom feeding.
They wouldn't dare have a shareholder's meeting now!! Not without a whole lot of body armor (this is not to be interpreted as any kind of threat, by the way, just a joke).
On the banquet menu they could offer a choice of preparation h or K-Y. With vaseline for dessert.
Yep. That is a good analysis of the quarter. But it still hurts when it comes out...Oh well, I've had my rant, now I'm back to resting on the bottom again (I'll move over so Fred and the company can join me).
Edit: And Skier is absolutely the man for the post!!! (wait...that's a little too close to postal...)
Yeah...I like the overworked angle. Let's go with that!!
Nothing like some negative gross profit to make your quarter really good. And the revenue...that's about 400 whole cyber trackers sold. Wow. They might burn out UPS (or whoever their shipper is)at this rate. I think they better back off a bit so they don't hurt themselves (or overheat the economy).
No real news there...we all knew they were going crazy with the dilution. Unfortunately, this report is PRIOR to the r/s, so we're still in the dark about the actual number of outstanding shares TODAY. Maybe it's best that I don't know. Yeah that's it...some good old denial...AHHHHHHH.
They called it an annual report...Did they change their fiscal year when they did the r/s?? Or is it another FUBAR?? I guess it doesn't really matter...at least Fred's good about getting the financials out. I can't get into the previous quarter's report right now to figure out what this quarter's numbers actually were. But the balance sheet looks about like I'd expect. At least they showed some cyber tracker inventory as of Sept. 30...
Doggone started out pretty reasonable, asking questions many of us had, but has now progressed to making predictions of bankruptcy and spreading rumors (or at least mis-information). He's undermined his own credibility. Although we all (hopefully) take everything on these boards with several grains of salt, some posters are clearly more credible than others. I'm not taking anything he says from here out seriously. I'm not prone to the ignore button, but I may use it here.
Moebius - It looks like this is very old...from the FM days. They were doing maritime expos around the time they were doing the pumps for the seaport security thing. And the pps figures listed are way old. We haven't been at .07 in forever (ugh).
But it's interesting that it just popped up now. I wonder where that came from?
With all due respect to Uncle M's slow climbing theory, I would LOVE to see .10 by the end of the week. But I think resistance is .01 and .02...I think .01 is only one good pop away (for whatever reason it decides to pop on). Just my opinion, of course.
I got it to work once this afternoon. There were a couple of guys working on the foundation at the time. But since then, nothing for me either.
Uncle M - Is that you with the big 400K buy?
.006 x .0065!! Do we have an official uptrend? Say it isn't so.
I'm not great with charts, but the next resistance looks like .007 or .0075. Let's bust that and go for .01!!!
King and Boat - Thanks.
Hi. My Ameritrade news for PHGI shows the news from another company. Anybody elses news have that? My news shows as a company named "Internet Song Of The Year" ISNY. It's been that way for several days and it's starting to bug me!!
Ward - BINGO!! I've found that swing trading the pinks is by far the best way to go. I'm not doing quite the same as Razor and Aufan, which is 100% trading, but I've managed to lower my basis with well-timed trades on upswings and buys on downswings. Unfortunately, we haven't had any decent upswings in months. So I've been sitting and waiting. And waiting...
Let's see what happens this week...could be interesting.
Hi. Did anyone notice on the new flyer that they list Orange and O2 as GSM distrubutors? Is this a new relationship? I seem to remember in the very distant past some mention of both of these, but haven't heard anything about them in a long time. Has anyone else heard anything about these two?
Curious. Wonder if there's something going on in Europe we don't know about...Probably not, but you never know.
Who - Most companies on the pinks don't allow their TA to release the share information, so this isn't out of the ordinary for pinks. I've seen shareholders bother the CEO's of companies to the point that the TA has been ungagged, but it is rare.
So again, we sit and wait. Boy this is fun.
Doggone - I've been trying to figure out what their gross profit is likely to be per gallon. With the Diesel rack price of around $2.50 lately, Biodiesel should be competitive. I read one report that puts the cost of producing biodiesel at $1.10 per gallon to $1.60 per gallon (although this report was several years old), depending on feedstock prices and which feedstock is used. I wonder if this is what the company is figuring?
Just food for thought (no pun intended).
Sorry Monk - I should have read ahead before I responded, as you answered the question first!! And in more detail!!
Euniverse1 - That was me who posted...The 260K figure was revenue and the 75K was GROSS profit, not net. Like I said, it will take 2000-2500 CT's sold per quarter to pass the break even point. The 75K is actually a little generous, since I used 30% gross profit instead of the actual 27.5%.
Edit: The sale of 500 units is a start, but they have a LONG way to go still. But we'll take what we can get.
So there you have it. GLTY
EE - I don't disagree with you at all. This thing may end up netting the company millions. But it will definitely be a while before we see production from the mine. Maybe gold will be over $1000 by then!! For the short term (end of 2007, Q1 2008), the biofuel plant will be the deal for the company. I don't see the radio station as being a giant profit producer...maybe I'm wrong, but compared to a gold mine and biofuel, the radio station seems like the smallest player.
Thanks, Who. Just another example of getting hosed by the company!!
One question I have is just how are they going to mine and process the ore? The company hasn't said anything specific. They're located near a rail line, so are they going to dig, send all of it somewhere to be processed, process it, return what's left, and backfill? Are they going to build a processing plant on site? Lots of questions that have no answers at this point. I'd like to know, and I'm sure many others would as well.
By the way, I'm not bashing, I'm very positive on the company. But these questions need to be answered.
Hi. Has anyone with TD Ameritrade been successful in getting the restriction lifted on the WTCT shares? I e-mailed them and they sent a vague one back saying something about filing forms. Maybe I'll call them...
Thanks.
Will do...But both eyes on one side still bugs me.
Thanks, Skier. The situation sucks, but I try to stay as positive as possible...Now back to resting on the bottom.
About $260,000 give or take. Gross profit is in the neighborhood of $75,000 (assuming 30%). I figure it takes about 2000-2500 in sales volume per quarter for the company to break even (again, give or take).
Hi all. I want to let everyone know what happened to me over the past month or so. I had two penny stocks, both related to the same company. Several years ago, the company looked like it was going belly up and the stocks fell to almost nothing. The company stayed in business, and I held onto them, since they were so low. Over the past couple months, both stocks went up to the point I made a profit on one and broke even on the other.
I'm holding onto my stock here. Don't get me wrong, I'm not happy at all about the r/s or what the company has been doing (or not doing as it turns out). But I'm not selling for what it's at now. I'll keep an eye on the pps, but keep holding to the bitter end. Maybe we'll all be lucky and see it go up at some point. It might be soon, it may take years, or may never happen. Nobody knows. But selling now seems silly.
That's all IMHO, of course.
I agree. My DD tends to show the company is on the up and up. I talked to the Opp Chamber of Commerce as well, and they had talked to John himself (or so they said). I also verified the majority of documents on the mine that are filed in public places. With pinks, you can never completely rule out a scam, but this one looks pretty good.
Thanks for the reply.
Uncle M - You bring up a good point. With the exception of the successful companies that went public after being successful (google, chipotle, etc.), most of the successful companies labored along the bottom for years before exploding. My philosophy is much like yours...find good companies (much much easier said than done), keep an eye on them, and as long as they make progress hold on. And do a swing trade or two (or ten) along the way. That's not a bad way to do the pinks...you just have to watch out for the scams, which is 99% of pinks!!!!
Edit: I like to throw in the old adage...Not all BB and Pink Sheet companies are scams. But almost all the scams are on the BB and Pink Sheets!! By the way, I don't believe John is scamming us...
Yep. The CT is awesome and they don't know how to sell it (apparently).
By the way, Doc, great work in the research area!! I greatly appreciate all you manage to dig up.
