Fair point. But no one is jumping ship either. I guess everyone is waiting on the next PR to push it one way or the other.
The stock at the moment appears to be holding it's own. There are events happening that no one can claim to know about unless you are in the inner circle. The company is still in business after all these years and now it appears to be making progress. I would expect that because Kim no longer is in total control of the business...all fine in my opinion. You have people on the ground whose livelihood depends on them knowing a good thing when they see it. I would expect these partners who have been surrounded by this silk industry, many most of their lives, aren't asking themselves why Kim does this or Kim does that...they're probably asking why wouldn't you be involved in something with this potential.
The FACT of the matter is Kim isn't a certified scientist.
He can expect whatever he wants.
Why not state : Our scientists believe/expect."
Intended omission perhaps?
My mistake it was a response to EOT

Abstract
Functional construction of tissue-engineered vessels as an alternative to autologous vascular grafts has been shown to be feasible, however the proliferation of seeded smooth-muscle cells remains a limiting factor. We employed a rotating bioreactor system to improve myoblast cell differentiation on a spider silk scaffold for tissue-engineered vessel construction. C2C12 myofibroblast cells were seeded on the surface of spider silk scaffold constructs and cultivated in a rotating bioreactor system with a continuous rotation speed (1 rpm). Cell function, cell growth and morphological structure and expression of biomarkers were analyzed using scanning electron microscopy, the LIVE/DEAD® assay, Western blot and quantitative real-time PCR analyses. A dense myofibroblast cell sheet could be developed which resembled native blood vessel muscular tissue in morphological structure and in function. Bioreactor perfusion positively affected cell morphology, and increased cell viability and cell differentiation. The expression of desmin, MYF5 and MEF2D surged as an indication of myoblast differentiation. Cell-seeded scaffolds showed a tear-down at 18 N when strained at a set speed (20 mm min-1). Spider silk scaffolds appear to offer a reliable basis for engineered vascular constructs and rotating bioreactor cultivation may be considered an effective alternative to complex bioreactor setups to improve cell viability and biology.

Conflict of interest statement

The voices that cry "scam, scumbag, boneheaded", etc., etc., etc., keep targeting one person the majority of the time. The CEO. It is KIm's company still but his grip is less (for the better IMO) and his actions are now tempered by others. With Ken Le, Walter Wee, and now a contracted entity and eventually those that will be required for support, we have a group of well educated and experienced professionals who each know their business and have been around long enough to know a scam when they see it. I sincerely doubt that they have all been duped.
Join the club, I have too and come up empty like you. I stopped lamenting about the lack of info a while back. Either you accept it or you don't... it is that simple. I get the venting, we all have to unload somewhere.
Fair point. "Pay upfront" was a poor choice of words. Eventually there should be a market for this and thus a revenue generator.
Thanks for a concise and undeniable example of why genetic drifts is what will keep KBLB's intellectual property from being stolen by the competition. It is all about profits, and you need to pay upfront for the purest seeds/eggs to get the best product. Now that we have built-in protection Kim needs to be a bit more open with what is happening. One can hope but I am not holding my breath.
As I stated previously....
It's the TECHNOLOGY
As these increased performance attributes only last one generation, it is vital that central silkworm egg production operations sustain each of these separate lines in order to create successive generations of hybrid crosses.
TRUISM
If you consider that Kim's PR's are only to minimize or mitigate bad news that will eventually get out...why two months of silence? Kim must be hiding the worst scenario possible. Now take the view of many in that Kim the lawyer never releases anything unless under the threat of death or worse. How about there is nothing bad to cover up so could things be progressing according to, close to or better than anticipated. It is a fair question. Yes I also think .11 is a possible target in the next few months and higher if a PR about decent production numbers are coming shortly..
SPIBER SUSTAINABILITY IMPACT REPORT
Perfectly timed to coincide with the other globalists in Davos. Nothing more than moral narcissism and virtue signaling at it's finest. The info seems secondary to the emotion. A corporate necessity in today's morality sweepstakes.
Nice crawl back from the morning low on low volume. Showing some resiliency to say the least. Maybe stronger than some speculate. Maybe production is going better than some might think. It would be great to move in on or break a nickle on Friday.
Success is is neither imminent nor probable
and if it ever happens it’ll be an unexpected but welcome accident as far as he’s concerned.
Thank you for that info. Hopefully we can muster up enough silk to make consistent income that can steadily increase every quarter. I want to believe we are almost there but you really need the patience of Job at this point.
“So "half a loaf is better than none" means it is probably correct to say that you received nothing? Your logic is misguided.”
KBLB never delivered half a loaf to get paid for. They got paid for coming up with a recipe for the bread. The slice of bread they did deliver was moldy and half was missing. The government never paid them again. Following the logic now?
The fact that KBLB never produced what the DoD wanted is why they never received the rest of the contracted payments. So it is probably correct to say that KBLB production has never produced a dollar of revenue.
How’s that for a reminder?
Not without durability testing...
The pilot lot was sufficient to launch online sales
The short answer is absolutely not.
Not of the commercial-grade variety, as the need to continually test has increased exponentially.
Will a series of PR's, just prior to finalizing this preliminary document, be released along with the SpydaSilk website completion? This hopefully could get things moving and very active.
Thanks, this is good news.
Can you post a link to this news or is it speculation?
.047...what just happened?
On KBLB's website under SEC filings it appears the last form 4 was posted on 7/21/22. Has Kim taken a break from selling shares or am I missing something? If so isn't that the opposite of "that can't be good for investors". It must be reported, correct? Asking.
Yes there is silence, but is it because of a problem or is it strategic? We will find out shortly one way or the other. I assume and hoping it is strategic. Good Luck
I have to believe that you are correct. These other entities involved wouldn't risk their time, money and reputations if they also did not believe and see a profit down the road. This is no longer pie in the sky but appears to be coming to fruition. Could be a very short road.
So why doesn't he? The possibility that he can't because it would be a lie can't be dismissed.
This occasion, however, marks the first time that Brewed Protein™ fiber has been used in a fleece material.
Perfectly stated. Thanks for your input. GLTA
That is why people are skeptical of Kim. First we kept pivoting to a better product. Now we are also pivoting to better plans for ramping up production. Always something better but never providing a product in quantity. I hope we are going to be pleasantly surprised in the coming days and weeks. But it is time to end the high school science project and submit it to the teacher (the market) and get a grade.
Thank you for bringing that up about the technology value. I was wondering when that would be mentioned. Maybe a bit more?
TD Ameritrade show light volume of 290k.
I get that production at a consistent level has been the major problem but by not pursuing the lesser "aluminum strength" fiber version you market nothing and you slow down funding of the R&D to pursue the "steel strength" fibers. Kim seems to have lacked the follow thru until maybe now. He thinks he can always best the latest breakthrough or innovation. Those diversions looking for something better have hurt the company in the long run IMO. You could strive for consistency in production of a lesser fiber while seeking perfection in another. It appears he is going for the whole enchilada this time because he thinks he is where he should be or we have Kings and Kenneth Le dragging him over the finish line kicking and screaming. Maybe both...a little of Kim and a lot of Kings and Kenneth. Let's hope there is the follow through this time. I'm still all in.
I also wish Kim would stop trying to improve as though this is a high school chemistry project. I too have held for quite a few years although not decades like some. I believe he has created some product that could be marketable but you can't continuously try to improve the product without investors starting to get antsy. Time to put it on the market even if it is only as strong as aluminum. You would have a lot more money to put into R&D to get it to steel strength.
Fortunately now all the news isn't controlled by Kim and that is what most of us are waiting for. Pressure is being applied by Kings and Kenneth Le and they most likely will release some good new about product along with photos. Kim will choke off what he can for reasons neither I or anyone can understand. The repetitive complaints, many legit, are just that noise. Maybe a release from Kings is just the kick in the behind that Kim needs to stop straddling the fence.
Thanks for the heads up. I checked it out. This is very encouraging.
I am 100% sure the reason was for financing. There might be other reasons and outcomes that are pro and con, but that is the reason for the RS KBLB stated. It was the driving fact behind the RS.
I am not sure why funding a company not making revs yet, isn't paramount in the thinking. It isn't as complex as anyone wants to make it. If there are big plans, that costs money.
As cautious as Kim is with words and the lesson learned by getting way ahead of himself with the Polartec announcement, the mention of Under Armor and North Face even if in the context of Dorton's history is quite significant. I wondered if I was the only one who thought this was significant. I hope the mention of the military or maybe J and J is in the works.
For those that are new here, KBLB has almost 100 TRILLION authorized shares.
