hwb2 re WRES:
I note that something called "Pechala's Reports" also put out a report this morning. I am too cheap to buy it, but I suspect it was favorable.
hweb re TXHG:
Were you surprised by Q1 numbers today? Or do you think this is a matter of seasonality?
Thanks, SSKILLZ1.
ARCP:
In addition to ARCP are there other REITS that you think would be particularly good investments?
TIA
ARCP:
And another insider buy reported today:

wade re AMZG:
I sold most of what I had in the $2.70s, and the rest when the shelf was announced. But it has so much support on this board among respected posters, I was thinking of getting back in. Personally, from a very simplistic standpoint -- and I am not anywhere near as smart as some on this board -- I worried about the accuracy of the projections that had been made; there is just too much uncertainty when growth is this rapid. So, I got out of the stock and I think I will wait to see how things play out before I get back in, even if I miss the bottom.
Frankly, while the "Polar vortex" is an unexpected event, it was not a Q4 2013 event, and rough weather in North Dakota in January is hardly a surprise.
AMZG:
I wonder if these "weather" effects are the whole explanation, and if so, what impact on other oil producers.

Stock up 6%, but on miniscule volume.

Sterne Agee downgrade from Buy to Neutral. Bid/Ask looking a little weak.
PERI:
Announces inclusion in NASDAQ Global Select Market. Is that a big deal?
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=60520085&symbol=PERI
I am long this stock, but it is discouraging that the Company will not spring for a press release. Supposedly doesn't want to spend the money, notwithstanding $37.5 million in revenue during the past 9 months. It is hard to avoid the suspicion that when insiders/friends have loaded up on all the shares they want, the funds will become available to publicize the company's success.
KIK re ITSI:
Any idea why market response has been subdued?
Thanks.

I sold when I learned of the offering. Don't know enough about management or the Board to have a feel for whether the Company will be prudent and exercise restraint. Sure looks like this Company is in a hurry to grow. If so, I prefer to sit this one out.

Files for $150 million shelf offering. Is this old news?

Spoke with Investor Relations. An 8-K will be filed later today and a PR this week.
I have seen the number $600 million. Where did that number come from?

What do you make of market reaction. Subdued, don't you think?

Sorry. My bad.
TGA:
Reported in Seeking Alpha alert this a.m.:
"Egypt promises to pay $1.5B arrears to foreign oil firms • 8:17 AM
•Egypt promises to pay $1.5B of the $6B it says it owes foreign oil companies, hoping the announcement will revive confidence in an economy battered by three years of political upheaval.
•Financial disclosures by firms including BP, Apache (APA), BG Group (BRGYY, BRGXF) and TransGlobe (TGA) show Egypt owed them more than $5.2 billion at the end of 2012.
•Egypt has repeatedly promised to repay arrears to the oil companies since Morsi's removal in July."

Was hoping for the "Seeking Alpha" effect for TGA. SA report barely moved the needle.

It appears that a report came out from ValueEngine today. I have not seen the report, but if it was positive, that may have something to do with the last couple of days.
Does anyone know anything about ValuEngine?
TGA:
Positive article from Seeking Alpha:
http://seekingalpha.com/article/1865311-overblown-geopolitical-risks-make-transglobe-energy-a-compelling-investment?source=email_rt_article_readmore
"While the stock rebounded since hitting its 52-week low back in June, it remains deeply undervalued relative to industry peers Occidental Petroleum Corporation (OXY) and Marathon Oil (MRO), whom trade at 5.9x TTM EBITDA and 3.4x TTM EBITDA, respectively, as well as the industry average of around 5.2x EBITDA. Similar to TransGlobe, both Occidental and Marathon are exposed to geopolitical risk as they operate in both North Africa and the Middle East. Assigning TransGlobe a modest 3.0x TTM EBITDA implies a market value of $896mm and a per share value of ~$12, offering investors a 38% upside. A multiple of 3.0x EBITDA is warranted by the arguments presented in my thesis pertaining to the irrationality behind the market's fear concerning Egypt's political turmoil, while simultaneously still accounting for the inherent geopolitical risks tied to operating in Egypt."
PTIX:
I suspect that the people buying now will be trying to get out later today and that the the profit taking will be fierce. Then again, that may just be sour grapes on my part.
