It's really nice to see optimism from everyone. With all the ups and downs this investment has gone through. We all deserve something good to happen and hopefully the worst is behind us and big things and big gains are ahead. With this steady uptick and surge in trading activity. I get the feeling (as some have mentioned) there maybe something on the horizon in the way of a positive announcement. Either way, it's good to see all the smiling faces around here again.
Agreed, I don't foresee a steady climb up without at least a few dips from those who got in recently at dirt cheap prices and want to take some nice profits.
I'm not sure if there's a standard method of when and how buyouts begin with companies like Titan. But I wonder if companies begin to approach at a specific time BEFORE they are FDA approved to begin negotiations to have a deal in place if/when FDA clearance is granted. Or do companies actually wait until FDA clearance granted before beginning the negotiations?
Gotcha, well, since I held my shares and resisted the urge to sell then buy back in. I'm going to say holding my shares was a better financial decision than selling. ;) LOL!
Hate to break up the shop talk '66. But, do you think the chances of Titan being approached with serious solicitations of a buyout shortly after FDA clearance (Pre-Revenue streams) is probable? By "serious" I mean offers that get the attention of management to actually consider taking. Or do you think management is hell bent on going at it alone? Which is more probable in your opinion?
So in any words you're saying those who held onto their shares and seemingly weathered the storm made the better financial decision? LOL!
I wonder if companies will begin soliciting buy out offers to Titan immediately on FDA approval? If Titan begins producing revenue then the purchase price potentially goes WAAAAAY up.
The longer the appreciation goes without a raise being announced should be great news for us longs.
If a partner is announced this early in the year, I wonder what type of appreciation in SP we would see? Triple, quadruple or more? But I agree, something is up. This is the second time in two weeks that we've seen this type volume without a raise being announced immediately afterwards. That's NOT Titan's standard operating procedure. We've become accustomed to raises being announced almost immediately after a significant spike in SP.
I'll feel a lot better when they are fully funded and/or have a partnership .
I sure hope that person is right. Granted, I'm not one of the number cruncher's on the board. But for many of us longs who simply cannot afford to continue to pump money into this to fight off dilution. We don't need many, if any, more raises. I'm come to terms that this won't be the "homerun" that I originally thought. But I think I can still get triple out of it.
Herein lies the frustrations. The behavior of this stock has followed ANYTHING but logic. Hopefully that changes this year.
The last bold sentence is what needs to be screamed from the roof tops to potential investors. This IS THE FUTURE of robotic surgery. They have got to get SP up. The times of SP staying at the bottom of the barrel for months on top of months is over if long term investors want to see a respectable return. I've come to terms I'm not going to get the big home run return I once thought. But I can still get a respectable return. But if they keep doing raises rather than getting warrants into play or getting a partnership. Respectable may even be out of the question.
Why is this thing tanking like this? Or maybe the better question is what in the world made the SP shoot up to $3.40 this week? This investment is the most perplexing, unorthodox stock I've ever been in. Somebody pass me some bourbon. Geeze!
You must be new here. A raise is exactly what they about to do. Seen this dog and pony show before.
Yep. You're exactly right. That's all it was. A move of desperation and the PPS and lack of activity from management proves it. This is the first time I've even checked the board in while and probably won't check it again until after New Year's. Until this company gets fully funded there's nothing worth coming here for. Happy Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's to you all.
So what you're saying is it's like holding a warm turd hoping in turns into a Baby Ruth?
What was the big announcement/news that was supposed to come from the conference call? Remember you said I'd be thanking you or something like that.
How do you know?
Agreed Mint, they can't keep offering raises, getting new investors only to then turn around and allow the PPS to tank then do another raise. At some point they need to let the PPS recover.
I really, really hate to agree with you but I think you're going to be right...again.
Yep, I fully expect a raise to follow. Looks too much like the same play they always run to expect anything else.
You can probably bank on it. It just wouldn't be Titan if they didn't.
You must be new here.
I'm starting to wonder (as someone pointed out yesterday) if we'll even get to the $3.20 warrants before having to do another raise? Personally, I think we're stuck here at these share prices for the foreseeable future. I'm not confident at all they'll touch those $3.20 warrants.
It is looking more and more like this stock isn't going to draw much interest until one or a combination of all of the following happen:
* Complete Funding to commercialization/FDA submission approval is secured
* Design Freeze
* Actual sales of SPORT units occur
I maybe leaving something out but these are most of the major things that would/should kick start PPS. I think until then we are where we are for the foreseeable future. Until then this stock will be toyed with and kicked around by shorts.
If actual sales and a few years of sales growth is what it takes for Titan to be bought out. Then we can fully expect a crap load more dilution and unless Longs are continually purchasing to offset the dilution. Their investment will be diluted into oblivion. The money it will take to setup the infrastructure of a staff to "go at it alone" will require a ton more money.
Are we making a push for $3.20 warrants? I sure hope so. Wouldn't it be nice for those warrants to come into play and management not have to do another raise, period?
You're not the only one scratching your head over this. It's infuriating to say the least. But this isn't the first time they've done this. I can't count how many times they've issued warrants that were well within PPS range with a little PR push, yet management goes dark for months at a time letting the SP flounder. Then of course, they do a raise. Rinse and repeat. Makes no sense whatsoever.
If I had a dime every time someone made this proclamation I could have long retired.
Just curious, but what news or milestones do you anticipate being released to get to $12/share in three months? Inquiring minds want to know. LOL!
I hope it's not the same plan they had of supporting SP after the RS. If they use that plan we're really screwed.
My guess is your emails/letters are just one of probably thousands they are receiving chewing their arses out. There's even word Mac's own wife is complaining about the SP. Yet they keep marching to the same drum, rinsing and repeating when necessary.
So what he meant by acknowledging the importance of support on the execution after uplisting had nothing to do with when the support came? If you believe that you are an idiot. You really are. Everyone understood him to believe that he meant to support the SP immediately after the RS and that's exactly what he meant. They just didn't follow through with it. You sound ridiculous to be quite honest by trying to spin this.
"What could they have done differently?" How about do what you acknowledged had to be done post R/S and uplist? Mac acknowledged how important it was of the timing and execution of the uplist. Yet hasn't done one thing to support it. So wouldn't you say there was something he could have done different? Like actually carry out what you said had to be carried out upon uplisting? They have done NOTHING to support the PPS after uplisting. NOTHING. So if he had nothing to support it. Then why do it?
I think an important question is are they going to attempt to get SP into the $3.20 warrants in the very near future or are they going to sit back in silence (like they are prone to do) and let the SP flop like a dying fish until the end of the year? I see no reason why the incentive wouldn't be to PR blitz SPORT to try to get into the $3.20 warrants. Do you?
I would be surprised if they make any effort at all to get to the $3.20. We've got examples in the recent past where we've been very close to kicking in a lot of warrant money only to have them do raise, consequently crashing the PPS and diluting us even more.
I'm talking about me specifically. You made a broad brush statement about everyone except yourself and two others and I wasn't one of the "two others". So I don't need a statistical analysis or to send out a questionnaire to come to the conclusion you were including me in the group you were criticizing. So I responded. I couldn't give two craps about why the others didn't respond. They can speak for themselves.
Yeah, that's it. It couldn't be because some people may have been in meetings (at work) all morning and just got time to scan the board. Nah, that couldn't be it.
Hey, I'll be glad to take his drink! LOL! For something positive. We broke $2/share. Hoping this upward tick continues!
