when will you turn this company around? spending is double revenues. are any of the Home Depot sales at profitable levels? what are the chances of getting real financing?
Steve, please don't stop here. need more information on real financing and net profit numbers. filing soon?
btw, i still don't understand why the mods deleted your first post.
they buy high, sell low. so far.
hit the nail on the head there. there has been one pilot program after another with this company. the pilots have crashed the eco-plane.
thanks archie. based on your advice, i am pretty much in the black again on this pig. gotta sell again though. i just cannot trust the numbers that will come out next week. they are going to be bad, i bet.
revenue up.
losses heavy.
profit elusive.
again.
so your game is to invest in penny stocks and then write rose stories about them to get the stock to rise? sure, you are a "journalist". wink wink
the problem with this stock is not the product, it is the management. ECOB cannot make money. they spend, spend, spend. i was so hopeful for so long. all i did was ride the stock down.
be sure to write in your story that the stock performance sucks and that the prospects for the future are bad because of heavy dilution. those are the true facts.
also, make sure to disclose that you are an investor in the company.
repeat yourself much? what are you talking about?
you see that little button above my post that says "Private Reply". you can click that and send me a PM (that means Private Message by the way). i get PM's often and i don't see one from you.
i do see one about you though. somebody figured it out.
full disclosure about that is i cannot reply to PM's because i never paid the membership fee to be able to have that feature. so, i can only reply on the main board.
i am not sure what you think there is to know about me, but it is pretty easy to look back through my posts to find out.
i don't know Homer's deal, but i post on other boards regarding my other holdings, mainly PGTI, DDD, and recently LNG. i have had several stocks that have not been as good too. i don't invest in penny stocks much. so, i am on here about ECOB only because this is where people are discussing it and i wanted to find out more.
i invested in ECOB because i too think it is a pretty cool product. i got out this september with some overall losses. i got out because those running the company are running it into the ground. what a waste!
i see that you rant over on yayhoo! too. what kind of a "journalist" are you? you are definitely not unbiased.
joefio is idgoeshere2003 the "journalist" on yayhoo!
i got a PM saying that you are idgoeshere2003 the journalist on yayhoo! yet, you say that you are long on this company?
What gives with you man?
did you get anybody to bite over on yayhoo! that you were a journalist? anybody spill their beans? do tell.
what intumescent coated LVL is common practice? there is one i-joist producer using it, trus joist, but no LVL producers.
name them if you are so sure. it should be easy as there are not very many LVL producers.
i see some fire retardant coated i-joist producers on youtube: Jager and Pinkwood. their coatings don't look like intumescent coatings, but they look better than Eco Red.
LP has a fire retardant coated OSB, but it does not look like an intumescent coating either.
since trus joist is "the number one brand in the industry" of i-joists, i would doubt that their Flak Jacket is getting held up on anything:
http://www.woodbywy.com/products/trus-joist/flak-jacket/
check out the video. i am hearing that Eco Red will not hold up in the same test. not even close.
Sherwin Williams and others have some spray on coatings too that look as effective as Eco Red.
still no news. still not good.
the numbers must be pretty bad if it is taking this long to get the fiscal year end numbers.
how many shares outstanding and its rate of growth?
operating loses?
accumulated deficit level and its growth rate?
selling to home depot is one thing, but does ECOB make any money on it?
financing options, other than dilution?
not sure where you are seeing the "large empire", "crap load of distributors", or "lots of warehouses". so far, those are not to those levels and even seem elusive at the spending rate and lack of profits.
well said.
what happened to Steve's post? come on mods! really?
there was nothing offensive about Steve's post (other than it came from him), so why the deletion? quit being so deletion-happy.
Steve was just getting going telling us of all the things that he invented.
you are quite misinformed:
isn't he saying that there has been no info out of the shareholders' meeting? wouldn't you expect something out of the king of PR's on how many showed up or what was discussed?
where is the video? lol
"according to Steve" a store has been added. be careful where YOUR facts come from too.
renewable energy stocks are a trap. they have not performed well.
ASTI has not done much over the long term. it is down over 15% from a year ago. it is not a role model and only brings opportunity if you are luck enough to have bought in a the right time only to exit at the right time.
unpredictable.
you are right though. it has done much better than ECOB. ASTI is mostly flat since July of 2001 where ECOB has been on an overall slide.
since you are cleaning up stuff, can you remove all the pictures and hype from the message board? they slow down my ipad when i am using public wifi.
they have become a bit annoying anyway.
that did not take long. what are you doing awake?
just read back through old yayhoo! posts. here is the link:
yayhoo message board for ECOB
i encourage you to do the same. i am not talking about just recent posts. there has been a lack of those anyway. i am talking about from the beginning, page 29. really.
the predictions and proclamations are hilarious. the sparring between bud and smallcaptrader are really funny.
Steve's promises of riches, hundreds of millions of board feet of glue lam beams from Calvert, sales to lowes, hundreds of houses for veterans, thousands of houses for new orleans, haiti, and ghana. and the list goes on and on and on.
it would be funny if it weren't so sad. many investors buying in at the dips only to have more downside soon after.
millions in sales are coming, but they never actually ever arrive. profit never comes. retained earnings are only ever huge losses. financing that looks promising never shows up or is wasted by give aways and payments to celebrities. donation after donation after donation.
giving away other people's money.
aw. those were the days. not like now where there is so much promise of riches to come.
i read them and as i posted a month ago, my plan was to use your strategy and be out by the end of september. i did that with minimal loss thanks to archie09's strategy. i would have been up slightly, but the dilution over the past several weeks killed my chances.
the "going long" with this stock did not and will not work. it is a dog.
the only thing increasing over the long term is the dilution rate of the stock.
good luck to all of you hanging in there for the big payout that never seems to come with this company.
it is very apparent that Conboy does not know how to make money. he only knows how to spend it. with an annual salary of $350k, give or take, he has lived a pretty nice lifestyle at investors and financiers expense.
what a shame.
no kidding! he and Tag are like broken records.
it is like they are trying to convince themselves. obviously, they don't get that everybody else is like "OK, we get it for the 40th time. beating a dead horse here. move on to the next point."
you two are like broken records, again.
makes him look like an ambulance chaser, unfortunately.
you are the one that brought up habitat for humanity, not me. and you implied that it is recent as in "drive by because they are under construction."
if so, then ECOB is still giving away stuff, which means that they are not making money.
ECOB cannot afford to give away stuff. the hole is too deep already. without proper financing and profits, it is dead.
revenues don't mean anything if they cannot turn a profit. we will see what the new numbers state. gl.
supply and demand. simple economics. according to the press, osb prices are down because a bunch of osb plants started up. buyers overbought in the spring as they got overzealous on buying for the limited housing demand.
more osb plants are coming on line. it has nothing to do with ECOB unless they bought high priced inventory and lost more money when prices fell.
habitat for humanity is a charitable organization. so far, ECOB has also been a charitable organization. just look at the financials to date.
prop 65 is about formaldehyde, not urea, unless it mixed with formaldehyde in glue. it is also about wood dust, but so is wood.
i cannot understand why the king of PR's hasn't had one since the shareholders meeting. i would genuinely like to know how it went. was there good attendence and support among those that did show up?
no PR, no video, no nothing. strange.
better than Home Despot. lol
the agreement is only valid as long as ECOB meets the volume purchasing requirements that they clearly have not even come close. it has me very worried about the inventory of chemicals remaining.
what success? i have been waiting. no profit. more losses. no financing.
where are the big announcements from yesterday? where is the great financing?
the only ones making money on this are Conboy and Vuozzo. Conboy's salary is over $300,000 per year. for what?!!!
what a frustrating company and stock.
oh yeah. you are right. exterior is blue.
news from yesterday's shareholders meeting? where is the news? tons of shares being traded today.
most FRT wood products are blue because that is the government spec. of course, it has to meet that spec to be colored blue.
that must be why he hired a magician. he is going to make all of ECOB's problems disappear. then the share price will reappear at $0.50.
STANDING in the Himalayan valley of Langtang, Rinjin Dorje Lama remembers where he used to play as a child in the 1960s.
what?
nothing to talk about until after the big meeting. need profits and real financing. time's a wasting.
