Just playing devils advocate. Why do you think it will die out and why a company that can make thread isnt earth shattering. If they can make lots of it at a reasonable price it sure is.
Certainly that's the question. I agree with you by the way but I'd hate to dismiss it just yet.
DS- the thing is, I think it's all contingent on Vietnam. So while I appreciate Bens response, I think many already know where we are. He said a lot of things in that email without really saying anything. That's just my opinion. If Vietnam happens, then I think we hear about contracts.
It's almost like we have two separate things going on. Vietnam and the Military. That's what's so exciting. At any point we can hear about positive news on either front.
I actually think since the announcement of the military contract last year, just about every PR has been positive and has shown progression.
I think the 800 pound gorilla has huge balls and will look to drop them on the market very soon. If not, they will turn blue and that could be a problem. Lol.
I was going to say that picture is not very flattering. Also, $314.00 is the price. Wow. Give them credit. They put a product out there with a price attached. However, if kblb can deliver quality and quantity at an affordable price, I'm not really concerned.
Time for kblb to get going. What bothers me in some of these spider silk articles, kblb is left out. Maybe 50% of the time. That's inexcusable.
What's your initial take of this discovery? I can't see it being a negative. Mass production?
Don't tease me bridge. I can't handle it.
But see that's the contradiction in your statements. You are preaching about how people shouldn't put their life savings into this investment but at the same time you are saying you think it will eventually happen for kblb to succeed.
It sounds like you like to complain and talk about what you think the company should be doing. But when it's all said and done you are invested just like everyone else so please calm down with the preaching and how concerned you are about how much people invested in this company.
It sounds pretty disingenuous. If it's too tough a stock go stomach by all means move on. People understand the risk involved in this stock.
My goodness, from people's reaction to how this company operates you would think this is Apple. Kblb as you know is a penny stock with great technology and limited resources. It may hit and it may not. It's a gamble people were willing to take.
Thank you rooster.
Looking at LinkedIn, kblb has an intern. He's from Michigan State and he is the Business Development Intern.
Games can you resubmit article or put it all in a post? Link not working. Thanks!
I know there are some on this board that doubted or were skeptical of Vietnam happening. Well, the news Lebbe found last night couldn't be more clear. It's happening folks. This year has the opportunity to really change kblb forever, in a positive way.
Yet it was a certain poster that persuaded you to invest in this company several years back when you doubted it very much. You are still here.
You are holding out hope just like all of us. Let's not pick and choose certain posts from members to advance your point. Stick to the truths.
All I know is this 800lb gorilla must have some huge balls. And quite frankly, I don't mind that. As long as they don't turn blue this could be huge.
Whoever it was needs to include KBLBs twitter handle. I mean, that was pretty ineffective.
Trend- talk to me about the potential of this company. My uncle is a doctor and told me about ORMP and said they are on the verge of doing great things. It's a speculative play for sure but if they get beyond Phase 2 with their testing this could take off.
I'm hoping the newsletter foreshadows things to come. It would be great if they reference possible signed contracts in the newsletter and then announce something in a PR a couple weeks later.
Also, for those of you on twitter, send out the newsletter to the people that follow you or to business leaders/writers. I can tell you personally that I've done that and have had people write back to me about the company. It can't hurt and it doesn't take much time.
You can say it's Kblb's job to do those things but why wait on the sidelines when you can be proactive.
Golf- how is the chart looking? Are we headed back up?
Romans, I want this 800 pound gorilla soon. Let's go!
T- what is that link? I can't access it. Thanks man
The next couple of months should be very interesting. But, we know how KBLB sometimes handles releasing news. Can they capitalize on this momentum? There is no question KBLB over the last couple of weeks has trended upwards. This news out of Vietnam is bigger than some realize. I would love to see a PR about the next domestic facility here in the states and another update on the shoot-packs.
In the last PR? I didn't see any wording that would come to that conclusion unless I totally missed something.
Regardless of what happens this week, the next three months will tell a lot about where kblb is going. I'm cautiously optimistic. At this point, if you are a long and your finances are okay, stay in.
I've got to think from that comment Romans financial professionals might be ready to pour money into the stock once it gets to a certain point. Who knows when that will happen though.
Silk used in tires. Think Goodyear.
I guess that's the concern/question es1. When will those overseas facilities be ready to go? At this point, Vietnam could take another year or it could happen next month. Regardless, they need a bigger facility which is why the next domestic facility needs to happen soon. I think this might be our next piece of news.
What's interesting is the information some have gotten regarding mass production at the Indiana facility. I was told this could happen. If that's the case, maybe the can fulfill bigger orders other than the Army contract.
I also think Kim is waiting on contracts to be our "new" funding. Maybe the Army deal turns into a 50 million dollar deal and that in turn starts the process of getting rid of Calm Seas. Who knows.
The first three months of 2017 will tell us a lot of where kblb is headed. I'm cautiously optimistic that we will be moving in a positive direction. Should be a fun year.
Is that from people in the know golf that have told you or companies you know of firsthand that are ready to do business with kblb?
"I don't even have to list my properties...Investors are already waiting...they could go to much, much, much LARGER NAMES...they choose not to."
Are these companies that would mean Romans are big-time investors that are waiting?
Gut feeling red or just hopeful? I don't think it moves significantly until contracts are signed. The market right now would agree that based off current SP. Let us know if you track down Jon.
Folks, you aren't going to get named of companies just yet. You should know better by now. This is a good PR.
Who is talking about Making outside of your friends and family? Businesses?
Can always get one outside of Tuesday. Could be unlikely but there is that possibility.
I've offered up my services to do a monthly spider cast podcast that can be posted to the website. I'm a professional broadcaster who has worked in two major markets. I have spoken to both Jon and Ben about this idea. They liked it. Don't know if it will happen but at least there can be some dialogue every month and you can hear from Kim or Jon themselves. Doesn't have to be earth shattering news, just a simple, "hey, things are going well here is where we are."
Yank- we still on track for early February with regards to the testing of those shoot packs? I've got to think if all is good, that will lead to bigger contracts from military. Are my instincts correct or off base?
Over the last few years, many on this board have formed a bond over a stock that has the potential to change one's financial state and security. Rarely do you get that opportunity in life. While this is a penny stock , many look at the science alone and understand the type of disruption spider silk can cause, not only to the many different fields of application, but also to the stock price.
For many, we've heard the word commercialization probably one too many times over the last few years. Obviously, KBLB wasn't ready to commercialize three years, two years, or even a year ago.
But the contract with the Army a couple months back, at least gives us hope, that our silk is somewhat viable to another customer. With the help of Warwick Mills, this Army contract will turn into a multi-million dollar deal that we've all been waiting for over the years to materialize.
For those that have had to sell shares, I feel for you. For those that are frustrated with the SP, I'm right there with you. I'm not here to sway anyone. We are all grown adults and need to do what's best for you and your families. But, for what it's worth, here's my take or pulse on the company.
I think a new financing deal is bigger than what we think. If Calm Seas can be replaced with other funds, we could see the SP rise just on that alone. I believe the contract is up with CS in six months. I wouldn't be shocked if in the next couple of months KBLB has a different method of financing. If that happens, we could be moving up to where the SP should be. Who knows what that would be by the way but it's got to be more than .04.
I do think we hear about a contract with a sports apparel company. When that happens, I'm not sure. But the next couple of months wouldn't shock me.
Getting the results back from the Army will be huge. We know that's likely to happen by March of next year. I also think, based off of what YankeeClipper has posted before, that spider silk and Kevlar combined could be a huge announcement that goes under the radar.
As for Vietnam, who knows really. Although, with the two domestic facilities hopefully here in the States up and running, the fear of not being able to mass produce will subside.
As for any immediate news before the year ends, I wouldn't be surprised if we get a couple of updates on the TV show that was aired a couple weeks back. Maybe an update on BR. Don't know if it's earth shattering but at least it's news.
That's my take on what's happening. I think for anyone that's on the fence or is not sure, if you can, the first six months of next year should give you some answers. I'm cautiously optimistic the SP will be going up once some of these things are a go. I could be wrong and that's the risk I took when I invested in this company. I think the science is real and someone will pay a premium price in the end for it. When that happens, I just don't know.
Good luck all and thanks for allowing me to give my thoughts on the situation.
My man- where have you been? This past week people have been confirming that they have been corresponding with Ben.
One thing has been made abundantly clear after reading these posts for a couple years now. People have put way too much money in this stock. It's a penny stock for goodness sake and when I read about people having to take money out of this stock to make payments for other things, I just can't help but wonder what type of investors are on this board.
As a smart person once said, invest what you are willing to lose, especially with a speculative play like kblb. We all hope it takes off, but it might not. And if it doesn't, that's on you as an investor. Again, it's a penny stock. Some are acting like this stock is Apple.
Some of recent posts that are assuming the company is spiraling out of control are ridiculous. This board is notorious for people coming up with outlandish claims both positive and negative.
You knew what you were getting into when you invested in this company. It could be a homerun or it could be a bust. Things are happening behind the scenes. Let's see how that plays out before people start losing their minds.
Also, this notion that one can just speak to a CEO of a company whenever they want is absurd. If they don't answer, that doesn't mean kblb is in trouble. Some posters on this board are very limited with their thinking and knowledge of this company.
Or it was done intentionally. It's really the worst kept secret over at KBLB that they have this contract either signed or almost signed with a major international sports apparel company. The question is why haven't they announced it yet?
If anyone gets a minute could they post that interview Kim did this morning on a New York station to the board? I'm out for the day but will try tonight. Or even contact Ben.
