This is great but I wish a few more analysts start writing about this stock.
Debbie had given me the impression that post the up listing, more analysts had started following the stock.
Either way, I hope this time around, the rise is sustained and continues north after the results are announced. Pray that the results are genuinely good and not a let down as usual. If we have crossed a million in quarterly revenues, that will be great.
Someone had to screw up. How I wish it had closed at 4.05
Also, maybe it may not make business sense to have all the authentication done in the field.
A visit to the lab can justify a higher charge for the detailed authentication. Wonder what is it that the customer wanted. As long as this progress suits the end customer's requirement, we are fine.
Either way I hope the market sees this as a significant milestone .
Yes SP. Guess many have lost hope after the debacle post the reverse split.
Even $6.7, which is just the pre split level, looks far away.
Here's hoping your wish comes true.
That's nice. I just hope that with this news and the expected good first quarter figures we touch the $6.7 pre split levels.
We were told that manipulation on the bigger exchanges will be less than that on the OTC!!!!.
Great news today and this should be zooming past $4 and more.
One can bank on dear old Andy to screw up without exception. Three times in a row. His conference calls have never helped. Would be nice if he keeps his mouth shut.
Should have sold in the 3.20 to 3.30 range. But as usual always in hind sight.
Hi time we saw something like this but I hope it is sustained and not just manipulation.
Thanks WT. Glad to be back though not so happy with the state of affairs.
Yeah Mike. Missed the board and felt helpless without the net.
Frustrating to see us stagnate at these levels but hope that the 1st qtr results give us some momentum.
Good to be back on the board.
Mike. So sorry to hear about your Mom passing away.
I was in India and had no net connectivity. Hence I saw your post only after reaching the US yesterday. Got online only today.
My heartfelt condolences though I know how precious Moms are for all of us.
Shail.
Thank you Mike. That was lovely.
Wish you a Merry Christmas and Very Happy 2015.
Thanks Pasta.
Maybe it is time for Santa to start using APDN technology to ensure that he is not distributing counterfeit goods.
A Merry Christmas and A Very Happy New Year to all out here.
We can keep thinking of reasons and explanations but the fact remains that up-listing to the Nasdaq has made no difference at all.
We continue to be traded like a penny stock. This drop from $6.7 to $2.7 hurts and we will take ages just to get back to where we were pre split.
The bloody Dr and his team can continue to give us their BS but the stock will remain where it is. I don't see any new interest being generated by the move to Nasdaq.
CK - you need to be on the board of APDN.
Your comments are more exciting than even the Dr. himself, who in fact comes across as a monotonous speaker hardly generating the feel good factor.
Yeah A1. But this is not enough. We need to first cross the $6.7 mark at which the RS was engineered.
I wish CK's analysis posted this morning, can be given more publicity. It needs to be read by many more.
I hope so SP. We need to at least attain the pre split level of 9 cents or $6.7 the post RS price level.
Need some more solid PRs and some pumping, for that to happen. If not, the earliest trigger would be the 1st quarter results where if we cross a $1 mn in revenues, there could be some excitement.
On second thoughts, I wish your analysis can be posted as an analyst's point of view by APDN through their marketing department.
Great analysis CK.
I appreciate your effort to present a constructive point of view on this board. I admire your willingness to dig into the details of the 10K document in order to arrive at these conclusions.
Hope all that you have said comes true.
Regarding the statement that APDN expects 1st qtr revenues in 2015 to be over a million dollars, that might be possible with the deferred revenues of more than 500000 declared in the last quarter of 2014.
What is critical however, is whether they can sustain this over the next three quarters. Going by their measly revenue figures for the last quarter, I find this difficult to believe.
Yes CK.
In my mail to Brian, I had asked him to ensure that the Dr does not duck my question. I guess as management, they could not have answered any differently.
Thanks for your detailed comments though.
Thanks CK. I think you paraphrased it well. My question was as follows:
The recent reverse split with the most unfavorable ratio of 1:60, the listing on Nasdaq and the disastrous S1 offer have not helped the cause of long term investors who have stayed with this company for years. The price of the stock currently is at less than 5 cent level pre split. This is not what we had expected from this company. We were better off without all the above.
Yet Dr Hayward has not bothered to even address the stock holders and reassure them that all is well. Why this lack of concern for the long term investors.
Thanks WT.
Thanks CK. I was not able to join. What was their reply?
Oh. That's all right. I guess we will hear from someone who attended the call. I was also not able to attend.
Did you attend the call WT. How was it?
Do you see any hopes. Any news on the DLA arrangement? Did they talk of a hand held scanner??
Thanks in advance
I have already done that. Mitchell is on leave till the 23rd.
I doubt Karol will reply.
Good luck WT.
None of your difficult questions will get answered as they do not have the honesty to respond to such questions. They have simply taken us for a nice ride all these years and we have been naive enough to believe their stories.
Some smart people saw through their game and exited at the right time. We should have done that too.
You will never get one. Instead you will hear the Dr's monologue tomorrow telling you what a wonderful job he has done and how your company is poised for a great future.
Rogues.
Why should they bother as long as they get their monthly pay packets until the company finally closes down at some point of time.
So much for the Nasdaq up listing.
Bull shitting and merrily living of our money while they con us with their games and stories. These are white collared thieves.
Yes A1 - that is the revenue for the quarter. The deferred revenues are all BS as they make no impact.
This company is a piece of shit and has been taking us investors for a nice long ride. Now we have no choice but to hold on to to this piece of shit for as long as it takes.
Disgusted by the pathetic revenue figure. They don't deserve to be on the Nasdaq. I hope they go down to zero so that I at least stop looking at it. They will have a shitty conference call tomorrow and the idiot doctor will tell us how the future is so bright and will end the call before taking any tough question. Karol will rattle out some shitty figures without explaining how year on year the expenses have never come down.
Fed up.
Hi A1,
Yeah. The % revenue growth may look great but I doubt that will impress the market. I don't see the kind of quantum jump that is required to get this anywhere.
We might see a minor rise and then it will come down to where it deserves. The Nasdaq has made no difference to the way this stock trades.
Hope he does not just dance to the Dr's tune.
Wish it was someone else other than the Dr addressing the crowd. He is ever so monotonous. Just does not charge up the atmosphere.
Some use that as a norm. Others may not invest in an OTC stock but would be willing to look at a Nasdaq listed stock at any price.
This is what Debbie and Karol had mentioned to me. Not all are governed by the $4/5 bench mark.
Send a reminder to Karol and hopefully you might get a response. Forget the generic mail that you sent. Refer to your second one addressed specifically to Debbie/Karol.
Send them a reminder. Generally they will never respond to the first one. Send them a second one expressing your disappointment on not getting a reply.
I guess we need a quantum jump in revenues and a few more analysts commenting on the stock.
Hate to say this but someone has to pump this stock up. Or else, we need some solid investors lining up to buy this stock.
