Can we get the job done? To be continued....... Go KBLB!
The processing of timber revolutionized the world. I live where Mill production is the thriving (depending on the market) industry that supplies jobs for the immediate populations and beyond. This video that I have attached has me thinking that a a mulberry agri- business could supply all the needed materials to the local growth production coupled with the worm production, coupled with small scale weavinng strategies and so on and so on. The survival of the Timber industry has hinged on the in-house feasibility of doing it in-house. Growing tracts of timber near the mill, Drying Kilns, chipping, bio-mass electro production and on and on and it is still figuring ways out to do it better. Without writing a novel. I feel that a small growth, phase in/growth expansion business plan of this concept on a small scale could help Kim and the company reach maximum goals without bleeding the bank account dry. While helping the people. The US. would benefit from production of a super fiber in the future and KBLB could use their influence to lobby for a better USA. The only place that actually makes a difference in the long Run. Any thoughts or criticisms are welcome. GO KBLB!!!
Romans I would like to convey my feelings for you during these trying times as well...... and to let you know that you are on my heart and in my prayers as well. Peace to you and your family.
I see your forward thinking skills put to work here mojo. You just made it to August 2014 with those "carrots" you posted here. Please stop...... your giving me nightmares. :)
I hope you are right Bob :)
This was very enlightening and started my mind racing with many other dominoes, I thank you for that Casper. Great Job.
Me too. :)
There is a possibility that Kim has built this project from the outside in, and has been moving on many fronts that we are not aware of at this time. Accordingly, if this has been the case, then it should start moving in a rapid pace like the push of the first domino (when Kim prepares to push that domino.)I so hope this is the scenario that we are about to witness and be a part of, but if this has not been the case, then :/.
Thanks Red, GLTA
Hey Red, could you elaborate on this statement, if possible~ "ready availability of precision weaving machinery". Does this mean the machinery is out there but in full operation through other silk production operations? In short is this spinning process specific to our textile materials versus the regular spinning of silk
.
Classic!!
Thanks MR>BOB +
Well I just lost myself with anger the other day,
so to all the longs i would like to apologize. I will from this point just stay in the game and hope for the best. I hope that my personal beliefs do not anger those that don't feel as I do but my gut tells me at this point we are not in the position that I once thought we held. Any who Im in it to win it but scared Goodluck to all Bigfoot
round ~glad you found something to pick on
Thanks for your honest input ES1, it is greatly appreciated. I will take everything you have said under consideration. Have a good weekend.
Ok, hypothetically speaking, in a perfect world, on your time frame w/ your parameters, are you saying you do not see KBLB earning revenues until 2015 and if not 2015 what year at the earliest do you forecast commercialization?
ES1 I'm not going to crunch the egg numbers with you again because you have painstakingly ran those numbers over and over with us. We have the eggs and the time elapsed to reach production levels.
WE have not pulled the trigger or shall I say move the ink to cause that train (commercialization) to leave the station but lets say you are correct and it takes as long as you say to reach each new individual fiber production time frame. Then we will be the fiber sloth of the 21st century.(which may be why companies are shying away from us) Personally I believe you are still in the "lets make excuses for KBLB MODE" and "I'm moving to the lets see RESULTS MODE." Worms / Cocoons/ Spin/ SALE here is a portion of the Mar 30,2013 CCT but in laymen terms we have the product. We have the product. We have the product. Worms / Cocoons/ Spin/ SALE
March 30, 2012 Conference Call Transcript
We are only looking for a small number of companies to work with us on commercialization, market and product development; each such perspective partner operating in separate niche. For example, of our thinking here, one Company might work with us on developing the market for a specific sportswear application where another company which weaves fabric for the defense industry might work with us on integrating Monster Silk into one or more of their product lines.
Frankly, we are already talking with more companies than we actually need or want, as marketing partners, according to our commercialization plan, but we are looking to form long term relationships, not one off sales. So the selection of the right partners is critical. We want to make sure that any prospective company that we would enter into a relationship with has; one, an ability to move significant volumes of product into the marketplace; two, has the necessary product and market expertise to work with us on successfully integrating monster silk and eventually generation 2 product into their product lines; and, three, that they also share our vision and, to some extent, passion for this breakthrough fiber.
Now, at the same time that we're doing this, we are going to significantly increase our recombinant spider silk production through our Monster Silk brand. The initial part of that ramp up has already taken place in the laboratory. We have significantly increased the number of monster silkworms and we have been successfully implementing a plan for accumulating, and essentially stockpiling, monster silkworm eggs in preparation for a significant expansion of production capacity. We will be increasing the pace of that ramp up in our new laboratory. All of this is being done as part of the necessary preparation for industrial scale production.
BH: Is Sigma-Aldrich going to be more deeply involved in production and/or distribution?
KT: I do not envision that at this time. They are working with us in terms of assisting us with Zinc Finger Nuclease fabrication and expertise, but, at this time, I really don't see their involvement in distribution and production.
BH: Kim, it's easy to get lost in all the sexiness of all the potential future spider silk uses, but aren't the initial agreements going to cover mundane silk uses, like sports apparel or s ilk ties and suits?
KT: Well, that is what we initially thought when we saw this material for the first time, but, since that time, we have been talking with companies, including defense contractors, who have approached us about applications for Monster Silk. In some cases, the companies who are contacting us have been educating us about the potential of Monster Silk for their particular applications; applications that that company knows about because of their particular product line. So, in short, the market for Monster silk may be broader than we first realized when the product was developed in the laboratory.
BH: Thanks Kim. Before we say our farewells, is there anything else you would like to add?
Yes, thank you Ben.
As the company grows and we increasingly interact with larger established companies in our target markets we need to grow internally as well as externally. I believe that we are on such a path of growth. We anticipate adding significant new corporate communications and investor relations support as part of our increasing public profile. Ben, over at Hansel Capital who is on the call with me, has been doing a great job of spearheading communications for us, but as we grow he can not be expected to shoulder that burden alone.
So, the message, in short, is one of growth. Our laboratory is physically growing as we move part of our R & D and production ramp up into a new lab. We are also accelerating our R&D on our next generation technology, the gen two technology. We are ramping up production of our Monster Silk product and we are reaching out to form new partnerships with the companies who have existing sales in our target markets. This is a very exciting time at Kraig Biocraft Laboratories. It is also a hectic time.
I want to thank the shareholders for supporting the company. Together we have accomplished what many thought was impossible. As we grow we will continue build on those accomplishments.
BH: Thank you Kim. Well, that wraps up today's call and I'd like to thank you, again, for listening in.
KT: Thank you, again, Ben, and thank you, again, to our shareholders.
It has been a year and a 1/4 since this CC Worms / Cocoons/ Spin/ SALE
I concur, that is the reason we are where we are in todays market. We do not have the capital to move forward. R&D has done a great job but if everything KIM has stated is true, in my book, we should be commercialized and moving product day in and day out. We need communication again. I may be way off the mark but for the CEO to cut off communications for this long with out a peep. We should have arrived or we are stagnant. Who knows since we are mushrooms and all we can do is speculate. Everyone wants to give MOJO a hard time and now start hating me but we should let all views reach this board with careful consideration. They once ridiculed a guy for many moons for saying the earth was flat but they where dead wrong.
As long as KIM has been in the game, he could have edu macated ded himself on how to take this thing to market. I don't believe KIM is that far in over his head, But "Something is rotten in the cotton in Denmark" IT must be financing/ industrial interest/ ect. but something is wrong. I watch Shark-Tank episodes come and go with sales of newly introduced inventions/products move in and sale across the nation within a year. --- HELLO!!
I remember!
You have to get your act together, before you take it to the BIG SHOW!!_____-- KBLB has all the right MOVES!!!! GO KBLB!!
"From what I experienced we are NOW at the crossroads of PUT-UP or SHUT-UP."
I share the same sentiment.
I love your attitude Red, with you 100 percent.
I thought so... but the "published" dupont interest in spidersilk, directly, has either eluded my radar are was not mentioned on this board. That was my aim. Peace ZENAKU

http://insectexpertphd.com/spiders.aspx Check out the eighth paragraph.
Solid view points IMO.
Thanks for the Post Zinc.
10-4 Mojo ~ I read ya loud and clear.
Mojo my man, with all the unknowns at this point, your opinions are somewhat warranted but I have to give Kim the benefit of the doubt. We are either really really close or have been misled a really long distance.
You know someone told me one time to believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see and I don't let that mind set get very far from my cognitive processes. With that said I must admit I have waved the POM POMs in the air for KIM as well others here because I either believe in KBLB or I don't and faith is never afforded the evidence of proof.
Understandably I still realize where you are coming from and I will give you your credit for forecasting much of KBLB's past timelines when others including I were a little premature in our victory dances.
Still if Kim does bring this company to a commercialization status, even you yourself, must regard that as a success, although I feel you will fly the coup if that scenario ever happens so if I never hear from you again I will consider that a victory :)
The facts are that you may be right or you may be wrong, only time will tell. But one thing is for certain... "this cat will soon be out of the bag" ~ Good or bad! and I for one am believing it will be GOOD ~ GO KBLB!! ps. Sorry about the analogies I can not help myself!
We could here a SONIC BOOM Tomorrow. GO KBLB!!
Hey Camarillo, I feel your pain but remember, "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink". Rest in the assurance that you did your part.
Im spun up, myself. BA BA BA BOOYAHHH! ~ HEY "ROMANS" we are on are way!!
.13 and climbing.
Kim like the great boxer Ali has planned his attack and we are in the final rounds. A knock out is imminent and soon a world champion will be crowned, in the textile field. RED I believe we will have a flurry of long awaited announcements (PRs) to set the stage as the world takes notice of a new World Champion. Go KIM
Very informative post.. Thanks First Mike.
Interesting, TBS
Hey Romans, I called Kblb many years ago (I just had a feeling that this would be the future of fibers)and ask if they were a public company. They told me no, that they were not. Since that day I have watch them progress from a private company, to a public company, reaching many many milestones along the way. With this said I also concur with your assessment of KBLB's immediate potential and even beyond those highs if we continue on our course. I believe Kim will be the next Marco Polo of (spider) silk for the 21st century but I must state, it is just a feeling. Go KBLB!!
