Ew. Jones soda guy butt on my drink AND they have cinder block walls. That is utterly disgusting.
Is this conversation not getting a bit ridiculous? Navy expressed an opinion (not nearly as outrageous as some I've seen on here, mind you all) and this is where we have ended up.
At the end of the day, while I acknowledge and appreciate Navy's observation, are a couple of pictures from somewhere in the Dixie facility really going to keep someone from investing in their parent company, MJNA? My opinion is no. Does it raise a question about the rest of their facility? Sure, it can. With a little digging, though, one can see what kind of manufacturing facility Dixie is.
MJNA LONG
Ouch.
Have fun!
Navy,
I have manufacturing management, 8D, FMEA and some 6-Sigma experience under my belt. While I agree with most of your point, I won't jump to many conclusions from ONE picture on a message board. Sure, it appeared sloppy when compared to the Toyota Way, but this is not on that level right now. We don't know where they were in the facility or the reason for the boxes being in the picture.
Im not giving you flack and I always enjoy your posts- just giving my opinion.
Bingo!
I work in a manufacturing facility and, while we are probably the cleanest facility in our industry (customers' words- not mine), when we are exceptionally busy it is hard to keep 100% tidy in the eyes of an outsider.
It is also hard to have much context from just one picture. As long as the equipment was clean, I'm not worried about some boxes (awaiting product) stacked against a wall.

I like the way that looks!
Dixie Elixirs and Edibles' "Classic" line of products (all edibles, THC tinctures, THC scrips and elixirs) are currently only legal in CO.
Dixie Botanicals' CBD-only products (tinctures, scrips and salves) are the products they offer nation-wide.
They absolutely still produce products that are illegal in the eyes of The Feds. However, I do believe they would be just fine if something were to happen and the feds crack down (not likely).
Disclaimer: I am a Medical Marijuana, Inc long... Won't shake me.
He does have a point, though. We have absolutely f$#k all to do with smoke- and I could not be happier about that.
Thanks for getting that out there, Paw!
Oh, that Luda. He loves his Blueberry Yum Yum!
SAYS WHO??
I'm leaning towards him sipping on some other company's laced Kool-Aid. Jonestown, not Jones Soda.
InPotWeTrust for President
Do it.
Where does it say they weren't in Czech Republic? I read it as that is where PhytoSPHERE has been growing the industrial hemp crops that Dixie and CanCHEW have used for the CBD extracts. You have, I believe, asked before where they grew their crops. There is your answer.
The Federally legal stuff is found at www.Dixiebotanicals.com the Classic Dixie stuff at www.dixieelixirs.com can currently only be found in CO.
Itself! CannCHEW has not been released yet. We have only had a market trial. I participated in it and am looking forward to its release so I can get more!!
Haha good stuff. I would like to read that story!
Thanks, Dadx4! I was attempting to correct another poster's potentially misleading comment about MJNA. I, too, can see how the wording may have confused.
MJNA does not sell hemp or medical marijuana. They are a holding company. Now, some of their subsidiaries are directly involved with medical cannabis and hemp.
MJNA doesn't sell anything but shares, Deaf. You know this.
What are you talking about? Do some DD on Dixie Elixirs and Edibles. They are a subsidiary of MJNA and are no start up MMJ company. They have been around for a few years and are very well established in CO and will be making the move to other states soon.
You are correct. I believe Dixie is sold in around 550 dispensaries in Colorado... not 500, Doc!
Do you know anything about this company, Slyder?
That is absolutely great! The whole article! One part that really jumped out at me was this:
" In addition to anti-cancer properties, separate research reported marijuana appears to have "profound nerve-protective and brain-enhancing properties that could potentially treat many neurodegenerative disorders." In its report, the National Cancer Institute stated cannabis effectively treats insomnia and referenced a placebo-controlled study in cancer patients showing increased quality of sleep and relaxation in those treated with tetrahydrocannabinol, an active component in marijuana."
Doesn't Kannalife's patent have something to do with Cannabis being a neuro-protectant?
Which is it? Yes or no? I do not like RFMK so Im not familiar with how their pens work. Cheryl. Yuk.
Can you vape the CBD or THC oils Dixie offers?
I am pretty sure someone mentioned Christie Lunsford mentioning an "adult" beverage sometime in 2014. Anyone recall this?
Jack?
AGREED!
Any more details there, country bumpkin?
Dixie Elixirs has downloadable press kits on their website. I don't know if it would do TOO much good in CA yet, but Dixie botanicals may also have press kits. They can be sold ANYWHERE!!! DO IT!!
Nope. The only thing that pops up on google for "MJNA bumper sticker" of "Dixie Elixirs bumper sticker" is your post lol!
Surely there are websites where you can make your own.
CannaVEST- FCLS
Kannalife- $1.5 million loan
Two different companies. Keep up!
So we are loaning money now?
We were a totally different company then, too.
You are correct. I believe he founded Dixie, if I'm not mistake..
"Holding" has long been a term used amongst the stoned for someone possessing marijuana. Haha....Holder.
Smooth.... just like Keith Stone.
I had to.
Go Tripp!
You are correct.
Could very well be Cannchew. They mentioned recently that they COMPLETED a successful market trial of the gum (I participated).
